RS was telling the court what he recalls DS saying about not telling anyone. I think DS told RS not to tell his dad anything. And , DS supposedly said he was only going to tell his family and his lawyer. I noticed many red faces in the court.

I hope a transcript of the preliminary hearing is made available to the media. I would think a clerk would type one up and that it would be filed and available in the case file some time in the near future.

I wish the St. Joseph County court would make their case dockets available online.

Whatever. Their relationship was founded and based "online." How, why, would someone agree to something like this under those circumstances?

Whatever the prosecutors have offered him, his immediate future is destroyed over the murder of a woman he didn't even know.

I have a daughter his age and it really breaks my heart and frightens me to know he was led to such extremes by someone he really didn't know at all.

Thousands of hours? If you spoke to someone 2 hours a day it would take 17 months to speak to them for a thousand hours. Thousands of hours since 2008 would require them to talk for well in excess of 2 hours EVERY day.

They chatted constantly while playing XBox which enables the players to have live voice chat with each other.

If Doug played all day on his days off and in the mornings and evenings on his work days, it would be possible.

He may have meant to say hundreds. Or, it may have seemed like thousands of hours to him.
