Hopeful that body will be found.
No particular location expected to be found at. Officers have ideas and search will continue.

They will not comment on if MSP believes VS was killed on the scene or taken alive and killed elsewhere.

Could be a federal case-US Attorney's office will be satisfied with it being prosecuted in MI.

Priority one to find her body, but they dont feel it is necessary for prosecution.

I am very glad arrest was made. It gives hope for other cases where bodies have not yet been found. Killers should not be rewarded for doing a good job of hiding a body. Hope that LE in other states will follow suit. I just wonder if there is any incentive for DS to ever give up the location of Venus' remains. I think LWOP is standard for murder-one convictions in Michigan, if I am not mistaken.

So sad for Venus' family and friends.
