U.S. Marshals Service conducts massive sweep to recover missing children

I was really excited about this and was looking for more information... this article says "of the 123, only four were missing." Most of the rest, it says, were "reported as missing in the past, but their parents never alerted police after they returned home."

I am thrilled they did the sweep and found the four, of course. But it sounds like what they really did was catch up on a lot of overdue administrative paperwork?

The headline was incredibly misleading. They were looking for kids that had previously been reported missing and asking them if they were used in a sex crime when they were missing. And they talked to less than 50% of them.
