(July 28, 2020, Ecorse) (Zyaire was killed, twin Zion Reed injured) – only for *James Edward Gibson, Jr. (34/now 36) (BF of mom) arrested, charged (7/28/20) & arraigned (2/10/21) with 1st degree premeditated murder & 2 counts of 1st degree child abuse. Plead not guilty. Held without bond.
*Charged (10/27/20) & arraigned (2/10/21) with assault on prison employee.

10/13/22 Update: Gibson: Plead guilty to 1st degree premediated murder & felony murder. 1st degree child abuse chase was dismissed. Assault: plead guilty to assaulting 2 prison employees. Sentencing hearing for all charges on 12/2/22.
*Lisa Marie Reed (34/now 37) (“mother”) arrested & charged (7/28/20) & arraigned (2/10/21) with felony murder & 2 counts of 1st degree child abuse. Plead not guilty. $30K bond.
Trial was set to begin on 10/22/21 continued to 12/14/21 was continued on 8/14/23. Reed only.

Looks like he was only going to be sentenced for the murder charge - 2 other charges have a next court date.
I searched but could not find anything on his sentencing - @inmyhumbleopinion - anything in the court site about this? Also the time of the other 2 charges court date? TIA!

Looks like his sentencing "might" have been moved. I can not access the Wayne County court site - just the jail site & it doesn't say "what" the hearing is about.

Anyone reading here - can you access the court site? It seems my go-to person has disappeared - Holidays & all - TIA if anyone can find out IF this is Gibson new sentencing date!

Tried to find recent articles on the sentencing - but nothing coming up for me over here. Have not seen @inmyhumbleopinion lately -

Anyone else reading here - can you access Michigan Wayne County court site? His case # is 21-000456-02 for murder & child abuse & #21-000461-01 for James Edward Gibson.

And I see he still has the assault charge - which is case #21-000460-01 -

no, any blue link I attempted to open, including that one, was basically a blank page containing no info. I am thinking perhaps only registered attorney can access those linked documents
