If you go through all the friends on various Plumadore facebooks, this guy is related to Daniel Plumadore, MP's possible bio dad. So perhaps they do know that he may be related.

I agree. He does NOT specifically say that they aren't. He is not happy about MP using Plumadore though - so I would bet that he was either adopted as a baby or foster homed, later found out the info and took that name....well, I wouldn't BET exactly, but that is my thought process at this time

I have searched and searched under everything I can think of. There is the birth record, plain as day then nothing. I think that this guy was adopted. Probably grew up under another name and reconnected later. Other posters have noted that he does not seem to be especially close to his birth family.... more like friends? and not close ones. I really feel this is the case. Maybe some of you are better sluethers than me!
He must have lived a good part of his life under another name.

ETA: the birth record, nothing, then the obit for grandfather.... huge gaps

He could have been raised by grandparents, he could have spent time in and out of foster care. Either of those scenarios would have him maintaining contact with the family, but not close.

According to a post, there is a "Plumadore Family Website" ...

Can't see anything other than info on first page ... don't know if anyone is member and can see more (of the myheritage site).

LOL even though I am not a member it lets me click on the family tree, it takes time for it to load, then I can see many of the family names. Some have private first names, but it gives everybody's family names.

But I'm not seeing either DP or MP on the site.

Curious, has anyone found out whose idenity mp stole? Or whose name he forged? Maybe we aren't finding mp anywhere between the birth record and the obit because he was using the stolen idenity that he evenutually went to prision for. Thoughts?

So in 2000, Plumadore assaults an emergency worker in Florida, steals a car, gets arrested, gets probation, violates probation, gets arrested for violation of probation and then skips around from place to place flying under the radar.

We know some of where he was between 2001 and today, but just what the heck was this guy doing in all of these places? Other than arrest records in Florida back in 2000, there's really no paper trail on Plumadore. There are "0" possible relatives or associates in official databases. What was he doing between 2001 and the last part of 2010 when he wound up in Moravia, Iowa living with a man (who's connected to Tarah's network of family/associates) who just happened to have a 13 year old daughter whom Plumadore then solicited and stalked? Did he run when the mother applied for a Protective Order against him? Did he run straight to Indiana to co-habitate with Gramps Lemmon the RSO, who also had not one, but three, sweet little girls visiting him regularly and living just feet away?

I woud like to know just how many people Plumadore "roomed" with in those 10 years and how many of their family members or friends were in some way violated by Plumadore. I can imagine the strange interviews that investigators are conducting as they try to pull together Plumadore's history. Hornet's nest I bet. So curious as to whether this guy has an MO with children or just with vulnerable people in general. Is he sexually motivated or just itching to control and hurt whatever target has been made easily available to him? I think he is really an inflitrator - worms his way in as the helpful, flexible friend who can always be depended upon to take care of your children or the elderly. I hope we learn more background info soon. Maybe surviving victims (if there are other vicitms) will start coming out of the woodwork after his arraignment?

Not sure if the projected release date is the date they actually got out or not so it seems Greg and James were in together and then MP and Greg where in together.

Here's what's weird to me. In the records for Teresa Faulkner Melton, there are 69 possible relatives and associates in the database I'm using. Not one has the name of Plumadore. Children and spouses (ex or current, live or dead) are typically included in the list. Not sure why Pulmadore Sr. or Jr. don't show up.

BTW, there is a Michael Leonard Tessneer who is Teresa's age and is listed as a possible relative or associate. Ex-husband?

No problem. I got it off a background check.

L M Tessneer is 63. Tessneer is one of Teresa's aliases and she has other associates listed with the same last name. She would have been 17 when Plumadore was born. I wonder if she was (formally or informally) married to Tessneer when Plumadore was born. He would have been 23 at the time. He shares a first name and partial middle name with Plumadore. I think it's possible he was Plumadore's bio dad or maybe Plumadore Sr. was the bio dad but Tessneer stepped in when she was pregant. All just speculation based on what appears to be an ex of Teresa having the name Michael Leonard; it's very hard to get anything definitive on Plumadore, imo.

The citation number MP was charged and sentence to in Indiana, 35-43-5-2, is described here on this link. (forgive me if this is old news). That citation number covers many different fraud type crimes. If the court dockets were available we could see if it was possibly he applied for a fake driver's license or writing a check on someone elses account etc... I believe the citation would be 35-43-5-2-C for the drivers license fraud. It could be writing a check using someone elses name, but it can also be trying to use another identy to obtain a new name via an application for a new drivers license. I know some states don't detail the full charge. My op is he has been using other names for a while.

Just an opinion, and questioning:

What about that "smoking" cigar?

This guy appears to have made a career out of being a criminal, according to his rap sheet.

I'm guessing that in the past he may have smoked a cigar after accomplishing other criminal exploits.

This crime has several elements to it that might be his crowing glory--that is, make him a legend in his own mind.

So, to acknowledge the sleuths who said this could be celebratory, I tend to agree.

Someone who has known him probably has seen him smoke a cigar before.

Hope that LE questions this practice/ritual of his.

Sheriff Len Hagaman said that Michael Plumadore was in Watauga in 2007 and 2008, and was arrested here as a fugitive from Indiana. The Sheriff said Plumadore was found in what was the “Domestic Violence and Sex Offender Registry Verification” by warrant and sex offender check, and was here November 29th of 2007 to January 22nd 2008. While in Boone, Plumadore listed 302 West King St. as his address—the former location of the Hospitality House. This appears to be a temporary shelter for homeless people or those temporarily displaced due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Notice that not only is the middle name listed as Ken instead of Len, the first name is also spelled as Micheal, not the typical Michael.
