Did he ever do volunteer work?......around children?

There was an article about a company he once worked for in Florida that had something to do with hurricane repairs/roofing?? Does anybody have that article?

I think the bio dad was listed as being a roofer after military service per his obit. Perhaps MP did spend some time with him although construction is common enough trade to pick up elsewhere.

Notice that not only is the middle name listed as Ken instead of Len, the first name is also spelled as Micheal, not the typical Michael.

Just my :twocents: about the other birth location. I would think that means he wasn't born in a hospital. More like maybe a mid-wife type thing and he was born "at home". But, again, that's just my :twocents:

That's a typical typo from transcribed records. The actual birth records are not viewable online, just the transcription. To see the actual written birth record, one would have to go to the courthouse. Other Birth Location = not in a hospital. Record recorded in Graham, NC.

Just an opinion, and questioning:

What about that "smoking" cigar?

This guy appears to have made a career out of being a criminal, according to his rap sheet.

I'm guessing that in the past he may have smoked a cigar after accomplishing other criminal exploits.

This crime has several elements to it that might be his crowing glory--that is, make him a legend in his own mind.

So, to acknowledge the sleuths who said this could be celebratory, I tend to agree.

Someone who has known him probably has seen him smoke a cigar before.

Hope that LE questions this practice/ritual of his.

I think this guy has a habit of walking to this store to buy things for himself. Maybe he even goes often to get a cigar.

But I think he needed an excuse to be there that day so that he could use the disposal bin so he went in and bought a cigar.

The way he talked in that interview before Aliahna was found makes it seem like he does follow some true crime. He might have known he would be caught on camera so he wanted to make it look like he had a reason to be there.

Good job. According to early reports, MP moved back in with JL in August 2011. TS and family moved from Hagerstown MD to Fort Wayne IN in July 2011. JL died on December 3rd 2011.

Where did you get the information that MP was in Jupiter, FL in July 2011? Is that where he went after he fled Iowa?

That's what I think is possible. MP's docket read fraud. I posted earlier today the citation/code for his charge. It could apply to falsifying a document like applying for a driver's license under another name. I think he could have been doing that. He may have assumed the MP listed above. Never know. Hope it's simpler than that though.

How does Ancestry.com gather their information?
Just asking because I have a friend that when she signs up for yahoo, hotmail or whatever she told me she never puts her correct age. She has a creepy ex and doesn't want her info showing up on search sites. Do you think this could be why his age is wrong?
