In the article they are still mentioning the brick, is it the murder weapon?
MP sticking to his story?

Plumadore pleads not guilty

FORT WAYNE – Michael Len Plumadore, formally charged with murdering 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon, pleaded not guilty at an initial hearing this morning.

Plumadore, in a striped jail jumpsuit, was silent as media shouted questions at him as he left the courthouse.

A trial date for Plumadore will be set Jan. 18. Another pretrial hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27.

Now that one media reports MP pleads not guilty and another media indicates the Judge entered the plea of not guilty, I sent an email to the media asking WHO did what with regards to the plea.

I was hoping for MP to plead "guilty", so not sure what happened in court today.

One of the articles I read said he would most likely enter a not guilty plea until he is appointed a lawyer and the lawyer gets a chance to look over the case.

But some of the articles indicate the "judge entered the plea" for MP, of which, makes me wonder what happened when the judge asked MP how he pleads.

In a news article it was said that LE is questioning whether MP is involved in other cases.

A poster here mentioned the Neveah Buchanan case.
So, this a.m. I was thinking about that, and remembered that investigators said a cigarette butt and a beer can were found close to the body.

I don't know, seems similar to the smoking of the cigar in this case.

Like, some kind of celebratory ritual, in both instances, as we have discussed before.

Well, if he is connected to that case, it will be determined soon I imagine.

Has anyone found out if MP lived or worked in MI?

Michael L. Plumadore has plea of 'not guilty' entered

Last updated: Wed. Jan. 04, 2012 - 09:58 am EDT

Flanked by numerous officers from the Allen County Sheriff's Department, accused killer Michael L. Plumadore's first appearance this morning in Allen Superior Court barely lasted a minute.

During that time, Plumadore – who allegedly has confessed to killing 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon in late December – was asked whether he understood the murder and felony charges filed against him, to which he responded, “Yes.” Plumadore was also asked whether a public defender was required to represent him, to which he also said yes, and was then told his next court appearance would be 8:30 a.m. Jan. 18, with a potential trial date of Feb. 27.

As is the norm during a first appearance, a plea of “not guilty” was entered.

AFAIK there has been nothing found linking him to Michigan except the fact it is a short drive from Ft. Wayne.

I looked at property records to see who owned the house. Mary S. owned it until she died September 2010. Her grandaughter owns it now.

Trying to read the records to see whether it was duplex or rental or whether there is some connection to MP.

Surrounding properties are owned by the granddaughter and 2 individuals with same last name as Mary (one is her son).

S****
Nothing I have seen in the web of names but then again, I'm a day behind.

eta
Looking further at property records, Mary and her husband (who preceded her in death) owned several properties in this area. Possible that MP was a renter ...

Same last name as Melissa??? Cheryls exe husband, now Melissas husband, father of the 13 year old that MP stalked/harassed while he lived with him?

Ick. I think the not guilty plea was entered on his behalf by the judge, because at this point, he has no attorney, and he likely has not undergone a full psych eval yet. I think it's standard at this point in the process. Still ick.

The same identical thing took place during Ryan Brunn's first court appearance for the murder of Jorelys Rivera. The judge entered the not guilty plea and he was assigned a public defender.

Not the same last name. Totally different.
