I have a hard time beleiving that he is not involved at all. Either he is involved in some way or this kid is the unluckiest guy alive. I think we all know the reasons surrounding the circumstantial evidence so I won't rehash.
Not sure I'm buying the hit either. Not that it doesn't happen but from a logical standpoint, JY had a good group of friends. Most were fairly well to do and stayed in close contact. A lot like my group of friends, and I'm not exactly sure where I could stop and ask someone to off my spouse. Also the overkill involved, this was a personal crime, imo. I thought from the very first day that it was either JY or someone who knew them very well. For example, nothing was done to the body to indicate sexual assault or mutilation or anything over the top, they just wanted her dead. I don't buy the missing jewelry theory as floated by some others. Sure, it may be gone, but that was not the reason that someone came in the house, imo.
I guess I would fall into the acted alone category. Too many things stand out. Opportunity being away, brutality, blood on the outside of his car and in the backseat, they wanted the photographs of him shortly after to look for distinguishing marks, and the one that stands out to me is the foot impressions. Jy has got some big da&^ feet and LE is not going to be mistaking his feet for those of MF. Personally, I don't think that forensic evidence is back and I'm not a concerned about the length of time as some others. People starting to assume that he didn't do it. The da in this case has got one shot to prosecute him. The guys over in Durham have set a good example of how not to go about it so I think that LE is being very methodical with this one. Crossing the t's and dotting the i's.
All jmo, of course.....
Great Post PacFan. I'm with you.
I know I was robbed once and the burglar took a suitcase out of my closet and dumped the jewellry from the drawers in the case. He didn't take the drawers!! He took anything else of value such as electronics as well.
Nothing else was taken apparently at the Youngs'.
