I agree and I doubt the mud slinging is over, afraid it is just starting. I have no doubt, if JY is arrested and brought to trial, her cross exam will not be gentle in any manner. JMO

I agree RC and I also think, even tho I don't even know her (as I did not even know her only sister, a word that MF has lost forever) I think, hope and pray that she will do 'real good'.

The defense would have to be awfully careful when their cross exam, imo. Just like Geragos had to be careful with Amber. Last thing you want to do is alienate a jury.

This poor woman was sent to the home by JY to discover her only sister dead and her niece running around in her mother's blood - on a "fluke". The jury won't be lost on this.

From what I understand a very good female prosecutor will be on this case and I'm sure she will do a very good job of preparing Meredith.

I agree Jilly, and think MF will be in excellent stead.

And if Mr Smith gets tough on her I can just hear it now: "Your Honor, Badgering the witness", "Your Honor, no precident", "Your Honor, bar please, {Your Honor, could you please tell the defendant he needs to sit up straight instead of lazying way down in his chair like he's going to slip right out of it!}" :D

OMG, I need a break, like Crossing Jordan :p I just love that show!

Sami,

Your question about the locks on the front door - Part 11, page 9, post 224. 5bigfish5 gives an explanation of both code requirement and how the locks work. Hope that helps your inquiry.

Personally, I seriously hope Meredith is being very careful, watching her back, talking only to family members, and has purchased an alarm system and keeps a loaded gun in her house. After JTFs bull do and clear mental instability, it is clear that Meredith is despised by some, most likely for what she knows about JY. Now we have another posting, probably with JTF sitting along side that is probably going to start on MM.

If this is the kind of people JY is surrounded by, it tells me this lawyer will throw everything up to attempt to discredit both of these ladies and as we know, the rumored embezzlement, I have no doubt will be brought in. There are no known tapes with the perp's voice stating anything - which was why Geragos couldn't really do much with Ms. Frey. If JY is arrested and brought to trial, both of these ladies need to eat lots of Cherrios IMO.

Now that was a wild goose chase, lmao

Come here you........... gotcha! :behindbar

It was on page 22 :)

I am sure the video footage that shows the door, and subsequent discussion of the panels was between Greta and Amanda. Will check the video and see if I can grab a still shot off it for closer inspection of the type of lock :)

Back soon.

**let's Charlie out**

RALEIGH -- Michelle Young was "stressing out over money" and a California vacation her husband allegedly took without her, authorities revealed in a search warrant recently made public.
The search warrant, returned Feb. 9 to the Wake County Clerk of Court's Office, indicates that Wake County sheriff's investigators are attempting to reconstruct a timeline of the events leading up to the murder of Michelle Young. The 29-year-old pregnant mother was found brutally beaten to death on Nov. 3 in the master bedroom of her $379,000 home at 5108 Birchleaf Drive, south of Raleigh.

Uh OHHHHH Booty boy has more troubles now. Looks like that rumor about him going gambling and calling for more money may prove to be true. Wonder who's in the pictures ? Seems like there may have been some problem around the time they got married - shotguns drawn? Very sad. This just totally pizzez me off, such a beautiful young woman...so sick.

Must study...thanks for the heads up Sami, I've actually been doing some work and have gone to the store to buy tomato sauce...

ETA - did you notice there is confirmation that JY refered LE to his lawyer in the brief conversation - this sucker had a lawyer before he returned to Raleigh !

Okay, let me state up front, please no one shoot me, I am just asking a question to try and better understand some things.

This case reminds me a lot of the SP as others have stated. But the way it reminds me of the SP case is this.....you have women who have a dream, to be married to their perfect guy and have a family. One hitch, perfect guy may not want a family, but you discuss and you discuss and he gives in or you just get pregnant. Now the guy has the added pressure of a family he did not want in the first place. So my question is, do these couples even discuss things like do you want to have kids, if so, how many? Or do the woman just want something so badly they think the situation will just work it's self out? I am not defending the 'things' who murdered them, I am just wondering if this is not why we hear of so many cases like this now days. Do people just not discuss this stuff before they get married? DH and I did and luckily neither of us wanted kids. Sad to say, but if he had wanted them I could not have married him, I have never wanted kids. Now fur babies, thats a different story, I'd have a house full of doggies if I could. ;)

Now with all that said, these assholes could just do what my Mom's first husband did to her, dumped her and my half-sister off at her parents and said, I don't want a family anymore, I can't deal with it. Instead these self indulgent spoiled little momma's boys these days just choose to murder there wives.

Does any of this make sense?

Do you think that they will find anything incriminating on the disks or do you think that they are just continuing to apply the pressure to Jason? It's more than obvious they think that Jason murdered his wife and are trying to build a case. Jason knows this, too. He committed this crime, IMO. I just hope that they can build a strong enough circumstantial case to convict him. What a loser. I would love to see this trial televised when and if it makes it that far.

Yes - it makes sense and those are some very good questions. Wish there was a "cure" for this stuff because I agree, it happens too frequently. I just cannot fathom it.
