I quess that is why LE was asking about cars in the area between 12 and 6 am. Someone familiar with that drive might be able to creep in and out without their lights on and down the street a ways before turning them on. Gotta wonder about that though - it would really catch someone's thought if a car was moving down the drive without lights. Seems a white SUV might be a tad easier to catch a glimpse of though. Just my thought, I don't think JY parked anywhere other than in his own drive that night.

What I am totally amazed by or will be amazed by, is if Jy did this, how could he possibly walk into a meeting half and hour late and have any reasonable front to put on. I mean, where does that kind of nerve come from. Can you imagine the people he met with - how they must feel now knowing they met with this guy and it seems possible he had killed his wife not long before the meeting ? How sick is that ?

ETA - i wonder what excuse he gave for being late ? Should be interesting to hear.
Yes, after this vicious murder , how could any normal person function, much less stay together at a business meeting ? At trial, his demeanor witnesses should be very interesting.

Close,

There is nothing you need to delete and you did nothing wrong luv. There was a link in a portion of a quote that you responded to that we felt should not not be posted on the board (the one concerning the insurance issue in post 390) because it carried information about a person not officially named in this case. This person was previously exposed on CTV and contacted Sami for help to get the information removed. I should take the blame and say I asked asked Barney to remove it which he very kindly did and Chico was kind enough to remove the quoted portion from your reply. All is good ! :)

I keep checking to see if there is an arrest yet. Oh darn!

I wonder if JY had planned to see MM on the last business trip, thursday night. What if MM said she was feeling guilty having an affair with him and she wanted to end it? Would that make him go over the edge and kill MY? Sociopaths only think of themselves and by gosh if someone is standing in their way, look out. I wonder if MM blames herself for MY murder.

IN NC, felony indictments are handed by a Grand Jury.

A local article on NC grand jury info...#, ect
http://www.wilmingtonstar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061213/NEWS/612130446/-1/news30
Okay - I got it and thanks for the link. My confusion comes from everyone waiting on the GJ to issue the bill in this case - but as I read that, the perp could indeed be arrested without this indictment and held until the GJ meets and determines the status.

I was confused why everyone was banking an arrest on the GJ outcome. The way that reads to me, the perp in this case can be arrested without a GJ session, so the truth is every day of the week is open to arrest regardless of the GJ. I think this point has some posters holding their breath on Monday's and Tuesdays - when in fact a perp could be arrested anytime.

ETA - for those waiting on the GJ, apparently it met on 5 and 6 March. This link has nothing to do with the Michelle Young case but it does verify that the GJ met this week.

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/1226113/

Based on the two week schedule next possible meeting will be March 19 & 20.

Everything you said is possible except meeting MM in Virginia. She was in Florida with her husband and son.

Hi Barney. I was thinking that maybe they had made plans well before that night and that when the date got closer she turned JY down. I know she was in FL at the time.

This aspect just absolutely boggles this brain. All I can think is the survival instinct must kick in in a major way or else the total blame was irrationally placed on the victim. Show up to a meeting, conduct business and be on your way trying to pretend nothing has happened, call your friends. This is just amazing to me. Cold.

I now have good info it was one of 3 hospitals in 'Western Virginia" that would bring him through Duffield Va on the way to Brevard. (start in Hillsville Va).

I do know it was a HOSPITAL, not a clinic, ect (rules out Duffield for meeting)

Barney,

Thanks for the links. In clicking several links at these websites it seems that Mountain View and Lee Regional Medical Center both offer a program called "Med Key". Med Key provides a user with a wallet sized card similar to a credit card which has the clients personal information encoded on the card. With that in mind it seems possible to me that both of these facilities have technology already in place with respect to computer controlled client information. Of course this doesn't preclude ChartOne from trying to win their business but for such small facilities it seems money might be a bit hard to come by to make the conversion from an existing system to another.

Lone Pine doesn't offer much information and perhaps presents the strongest potential of the three you have listed. Going to do more research on the Med Key program.

There must have been so much anger raging inside him for him to beat her like he did.

There was some FBI specialist on TV long ago who said with some of these killers, they develop an euphoria - feeling of satisfaction after releasing all this pent up anger.

If they didn't know him previously they wouldn't necessarily know his normal demeanor. Add to it a pill to calm him down, pick him up or whatever he needed throughout the entire ordeal. I don't doubt the zombie description that's been given of his current demeanor isn't drug induced as well. ;)

Strach,

Hope all is going well for you and your family.

I know you are right and this would be possible but if JY wasn't a druggie to start with, the best he could have come up with would be this stuff you can buy at gas stations for energy or for staying awake - you think? I don't know about that stuff and if it would do that much or not unless he took a boatload. I guess my problem is I assume that a conscience exists were perhaps it really does not.

ETA - he may have picked this stuff when he refilled his tank BEFORE heading towards Duffield.

You make some very good points here Strach.

I don't think he would have needed uppers but didn't someone say that he had been in a depression? He could have had some anti anxiety meds in the bathroom cabinet which might explain how he got through the meeting.

I don't know why I haven't thought about this until now, but was Michelle buried in NY or NC? And does anyone know who paid for the funeral?

Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Evening Happy !

Michelle was buried in Raleigh NC. Have seen nothing that would define who paid for her funeral services. Sorry - no answers.
