Having trouble getting a post up, but am not going to start banging! LOL

In the AR the first page is missing. It says there are 12 pages to the report {I was wrong about 13}, but the 2 has been written over another number. I can't read what it was.

I did put the current AR link in our link thread so it will be easy to find.

I kinda think it was a 16 as the top of the 3 and the bottom of the 3 are not remotely similar...

I just saw where they changed the number on the first page to 1 of 13. It looked like it read 16 before they changed it.

Yes it does, doesn't it. It had to be changed on every page. Either they thought they had 16 pages to begin with and changed it to 13 or there are 3 pages which were not included in this.

How come when we have a question it only creates another?:D

ETA - oh brother - now I'm noticing there are 14 pages to this report.

Strach,

I'm not well versed in ARs but there is no exact reference to Toxicology. It does list microbiology = none; chemistry = none. Radiograph of the head. Post mortem alcohol was negative. I wonder why the ME would do an alcohol determination but not a rape kit...:silenced:

Ok, so no mention of the toxicology which I think is standard but takes awhile to get the results. Would the radiograph be the test to determine no metal particles you think?

i gotta 2nd that. it starts rumors at other forums!

interesting stuff about the page numbering. was it for sure like that before?

Sami explained that the radiograph was most likely done to determine if there was a gunshot to the head. I suppose if there were any metal fragments they would have shown up on the radiograph. No the word toxicology is not found in the document that I have which was printed from the N & O link back in January.

How unprofessional! I'm purdy picki when it comes to documents because I sold real estate for so long. But to write over a number on every page of a document as important as this is just plain S L O P P Y. :slap: I know I'm being a bit vociferous here, and it could be they couldn't have the entire report rewritten as then it would not be the original report.

I just hope it doesn't speak for the Dept as to how they do things in Chapel Hill. OK, now I feel a bit better. :silenced: :silenced:

wow- dont misunderstand me- not questioning, I just cant fathom, even with the brutality of MY murder, that it could not be determined there was no gunshot, but I guess if it was a small caaliber, it could be hard to dectect if further beating took place- oh-- how sad-- when I think of the beating she took I just once again, cant comprehend how someone- especially a husband could do it

No....I agree with you Scandi. It is very unprofessional. Gives the impression of laziness too which I hope is limited to the page numbering.

I'm just looking again and there are 13 pages (I said 14 earlier). I was going by the upper # in the top right hand corner but that seems to be the # of pages as it was in fax form. Pg 1 could have been the fax covering letter.

I don't know when this would have been done - I think it is possible the radiograph would have been done prior to shaving the area where all the blows were. Michelle had a lot of hair so I can "imagine " the necessity of doing it prior to going into depth so to speak. With that many blows I would think it would be hard to discern. I think a 22 round would stay confined within the skull. It makes me ill thinking of what was done to this beautiful young woman...

Possible - by whom. Seems to me that if the numbers were changed - who ever did it should have initialed the change as there is little doubt this document will be brought into a court of law. Will look at the other links to see if they also appear to be changed.

Scandi's link is from WRAL. The printed copy I have came from the N & O - this suggests the numbers were changed prior to the media outlets receiving the documents - if the numbers have been changed that is...

Hmmmm Maybe just not included for the public release.

Strach

Perhaps this will help - the AR notes under evidence collected that samples of both maternal and fetal blood were collected - perhaps these samples were indeed submitted to the lab for toxicological testing.

The CCBI could have requested the radiograph because at the scene they could not tell with all of her hair like you say. It also could be proceedure to X-ray before head hair is shaved so as not to change any wounds to the scalp.

Charlie, sometimes when I'm trying to figure things out I play it through my mind. To think of the sound of the weapon hitting her head over and over again, I mean the whole attack on her being is so hard to think about.

yes it is Scandi- especially if it was her husband- I cannot imagine the horror- just as I cant with Laci-( although in a sick way I think her death was less tramatic, because I think he strangled her from behind- MY's was brutal)

Scandi,

You were on the Pam Vitale board - you know I had an incredibly hard time thinking about that one. When that AR came out I was literally sick. I thought there couldn't be anything worse as Pamela was beaten everywhere. I have reconsidered that opinion after this case - the intense focus is IMO far more disturbing than the randomness exhibited in the Vitale case.

This was absolute, leave no doubt, annilhilation on the part of this killer. It was all about the killer and what he wanted...at least Dyleski was just evil - this killer was perfectly sane and completely devoted to himself IMO.

RC, and she was pregnant.

Scandi, any possibility that that report may get rewritten after the final one from the ME? The officer who wrote it would have to testify to and why any changes were made. Then on the other hand maybe they are not allowed to rewrite so corrections have to be made on the original? Someone on ctv said that's how the medical files work. No white out or anything.

J2, in the Robb case LE originally thought she was shot in the head because she was in such bad shape. The ME told them it was blunt force trauma and her husband was no Hercules looking dude.
