Oh Jilly, that is an awful thought! The only way we will find out is if MM testifies she had called Michelle that night to make amends with her and tell her she was pregnant. I've always thought that happened.

I think Cassidy had heard plenty of shouting between them, as we read on the board they had a lot of arguments. So at least she was somewhat conditioned if there were loud voices that woke her up that morning.

wasn't jake asking about condoms? even if MM and jay used a condom when they had sex, they are known to fail. maybe MM was pregnant w/ jay's baby.

that would be cause for a VERY EXPLOSIVE situation, even if michelleY had plans to divorce jay. and think of what people would say about jay having 2 babies by 2 women named michelle (wife and mistress) at the same time.

that would not sit well in ol' Brevard.

maybe a failed condom caused michelleY to get pregnant right after the miscarriage.

When I first found out MM was preggers I had the same thought. We have been somewhat assured the baby is her husbands, but it was the kind of a deal that would be a good motive for murder if Michelle found out and flipped out on Jason.

Yes, Jake was trying to get the sex angle a goin' here, so after he said something was found after LE cleared the crime scene and before the cleaners came in, asked abgout what is the deal with being arrested as a Material Witness, and then what about Obstruction of Justice for keeping something found - he then told us someone he knew had seen the SW and a package of unused condums was listed!

What a point. That is when the killer tries to paint the crime as a sexually motivated one. It is really what Jake had started to do here in his support of Jason's innocence.

Possibilities abound! I don't think that will be learned until trial. I'm sure that would come out, wouldn't it? The timing was perfect to have been Jy's from how far along she was in Jan.

Scandi, I've just got to think that Raleigh's probably had many murders. If they're continuing to perform their autopsies & write up their reports as they've always done and not run into any problems at trial, it must be ok.

I was thinking that, although it's odd to me (the lack of actually taking bloody sheets and socks, etc.) because it's different than the 3 LE agencies I've been personally affiliated with...that certainly CCBI has worked many crime scenes and are certified...and have been successful. Therefore, they must know what they need to do. I will have faith in them until we see something in court that shows a screw-up. (Hoping there will be a court case! )

what if the crime scene investigators removed the sheets and bedding that was actually on the bed that night and bagged them. then, they lifted michelle's body using a clean sheet that they had pulled from the closet
to transfer her to the coroner's stretcher?

because it wasn't the original sheet and they had touched it, perhaps they felt it wasn't valuable evidence.

or maybe this evidence was planted later by someone on jay's side along w/ the socks.

Saint, I think they would still need to take that sheet in case any fibers or whatever fell off while removing her. Other option is a good one I think many of us have thought just like the tooth. The blood would be dried by the time the crime scene was released so that's probably not an option either. Then why throw them away if you're trying to make LE look incompetent? It would be Michelle's blood of course.

I have a few minutes here as Milka Duno just hit the wall at 217 mph so clean up will take a bit - I did check my pm's and thank you very much ! Mr. DNA is a pretty awesome fellow !
