Some good questions - LE does have an obligation to make notification - especially in the case of homicide - LE also has an obligation to be able to verify such notification was made. I suspect Transylvania Co Sheriff would have sent a rep to the Brevard location.

As for MF keeping it together - I suspect Cassidy would have been with her where ever LE removed them to, so I think there is a strong possibility she kept it together. JMO

No Grammy yet?
No, no grammy yet..... :(

Back on topic. I would hope not, and Cassidy would'nt have been there while they were questioning Meredith. I'm thinking that Cassidy may have been with a really nice officer keeping her amused during the processing and notification period.

I wish we could have another report! A copy of those warrants (both served and returned) would do me just fine and dandy....but maybe certain things were also taken out of that SUV that they don't want us, or the public, to know about just yet.

I can see no other reason why they wouldn't make this available on the website like they did with the other warrants issued and returned....unlesssss......

(to my grandbaby........"come out!" lol)

No Grammy yet? The point with Daniel - he was on the phone after LE removed him from the crime scene proper - he was in a squad car sitting at the house calling relatives and friends.

I get the impression that Jason spoke with LE close to 3 pm. The person posting as "just the facts" indicated that she got a phone call about Michelle's death around 3 pm on 11/3. The warrant to search the residence was issued at 3:21 pm. I also get the impression that police suspected Jason's involvement the very first day. Certainly, by 11/6 they were very interested in him. Question is, what led them in that direction? Was it the "fax"? Was it an unplanned trip or a questionable destination? Was it something that Jason said to them in their brief conversation with him? Was it a strange reaction to the news from Jason and/or his Brevard family?

The reason the family gave for no one telling Jason about his wife being murdered before he got to his folks house is because they didn't want him to hear the news while driving alone. MF would have had his cell # on her cell because he left the message for her to get the fax. She would have had his #.
I have thought all along it would be odd for her not to have called him immedialty upon finding MY-, I dont know if I would think fast enough about not telling him when he was driving or not- she made not have even known "exactly" where he was to be concerned about the lenght of a drive home-

I still cant get over how tight lipped this case is--- there must be an arrest coming soon- or I dont understand the silence

I'm not meaning to be argumentative but I think we are talking about different timing. The first thing LE is going to do is secure the scene - which involves removing and securing everyone at the location. This time period between securing and interviewing provided IMO an opportunity for MF to make several calls if she were so inclined. Cassidy would have been with her at this time as LE is occupied doing other things to secure the scene.

If you look at the warrant for the home - the probable cause section could well have been written based on nothing more than what MF told the 911 operator (same info we heard her say in the call). I'm just trying to say that yes MF could have called JY - JY could have checked his vm and could have been prepared for the news before he got to Brevard to face the folks.

I also think they suspected him from the get go - for the same reasons they said it was not a random crime. I wonder about those reasons as well.

Good Morning,

Popping in quick-like and had a few thoughts.

In talking to 911 they hooked her into the sheriff's dept who said they were already in route. As always happens when you call 911 they keep you on the phone until an officer arrives. So I don't think MF had a chance to call JY before they arrived.

At that point they would be interviewing her to debrief her so to speak, and Cassidy would be right there. I don't think she called JY unless LE wanted her to, and they might have instructed her to call no one at this point as it was their job to do that.

Now two things probably tipped off the Sheriff Dept right from the get go, and like you Charlie, I think they suspected him right away. Having listened to the enhanced 911 tape which was even pulled from the net, I heard what Cassidy told Meredith. I am sure MF told this to LE, in fact little Cassidy was probably telling them what happened voluntarily right away/ She thought her mommy was dead and wanted these people to help her.

The other thing is based on a rumor at CTV from one of those 'friends', actually a gal who was either a close friend of Meredith or Michelle's. She stated something out of the ordinary was done to Michelle's body during the murder, and what ever it was I have this gnawing feeling that it pointed directly to someone very close to her - like the husband. We know nothing more about that, but put that together with what Cassidy said, and you would immediately know this was an inside crime, which also matchede the passion and anger shown in the bloody crime scene.

Knowing this, and havig heard Harrison in his first comments on the murder, I don't think they wanted MF calling the husband. Heck, at that time they might have even wondered if MF was involved in any way. I know even we speculated about that!

Hi Sami, You're right! Good little memory there :D

One day looking for a quote from JTF I discovered he/she had absolutely not one post to his name. I had read every post written by JTF and said to myself, WTF :D :D ;) I went back in to where I knew he was posting and then discovered one of his posts with the poster name of JustThe Facts. Looking that person up I think they had 32 posts if I am not mistaken, and I tracked each one. Whoever changed this for JTF changed joining dates as well to cover for what was done.

A day or so later I noticed they were talking about it on the forum there, and brought the news over here as it was so bizarre to have such messing around being done over there.

As a side note, when JTF was posting at CTV they were also posting at Misfits. I read his first post there which was under one name - could have been JustThe Facts or something like that. The next post they did was under the nic JTF. They didn't post there more than a day or so that I saw, realizing that CTV had a much wider audience for their blather!~

Scandi,

I don't think MF would have called either before LE got there, but I still maintain she would have had time once secured away from the scene - you know Daniel was interviewed at the police station at least 4 to 5 hours after he found his wife. He relayed what he found and they put him in a squad car until they took him "downtown" for an interview. He got no different treatment than anyone else gets.

The one thing I have hoped from the begining is that Cassidy saw nothing. I have not heard the enhanced tape but what bothers me about that is that Cassidy has been around JY's parents, brothers sisters and their kids - by this time I would think that Cassidy would have dropped some information to them in a very casual manner that should have them thinking if it is true Cassidy knows what happened. This is a very articulate 2.5 year old. Maybe that is why they all quit posting !!!

I think it is possible Cassidy said something if she indeed saw what happened or even the immediate aftermath when whoever was still there - I hope not but it is possible. I do not however think that Cassidy saying something is not the only reason LE jumped on JY so quickly or said it was a non random crime. IMO there was something else, perhaps from MF or from the scene itself that led LE to these conclusions. JMO

I don't think Cassidy saw what happened to her mom. I have a feeling if she did she might have been murdered too. Maybe a neighbor saw JY at the house between 12:00 and 6:00 am. LE were pretty quick to say that it wasn't a random crime.

It still amazes me a bit that "famiy and friends" go onto sites giving detais not publicly released by le! like the above reference with something being done to MY's body perhaps, or other things in this case, the many friends in the Duckett case who wrote all over myspace -- I don't understand! Why would they want to risk interfering, or, why would they put factual info out there (that is being held back for a reason) and not think le, etc would read it?

This article just came on line 3 hours ago. It says they have released details about the warrant on the computer. Isa this old news rehashed, Charlie. I don't see any specific info released except what we have already heard.

I'm pretty sure it is the same one we heard about last Friday Scandi. Darn, no link to the warrant itself - shoot a monkey !

Some details would be nice, yes. I would like to see this killer picked up before the new year so he/she can start acclimating to what their new life will be.
