nope, not that i've heard..watched NG, & it was discussed, but just re-hashing the same things...(sighs)

thx c/e--- I would really like to know this answer-- and about the dog--- from what i have read- and someone was very sharp in stating there were no dog prints ( in blood)- so i wonder if he wasnt kenneled at night- but if he was and someone came into the house, i cant imagine him-her not going crazy and warning/alarming michelle- if he/she was kenneled, would be nice to know where at in the house

I soooooooooo hope this wasnt Jason--- but you cant help but think of Laci and isp-------so many similarities

More questions...that's the worst part. Another poster pointed out that the house has changed hands 5 times in 15 years and all times were in the spring when the trees would be full of leaves - you couldn't see the trailer park. And that of course leads to the discussion about the neighbor teenager that supposedly might be a suspect according to some. My first thought was that anyone could have walked through the lot from the back and snuck into the house unseen. Whether that was Jason or someone else - more questions....
It's been a pleasure talking with y'all but I must go now - work tomorrow and lots to do before then. Will check in tomorrow

wonder if LE has gotten any interesting info from folks at the trailer park???...surely they've interviewed them...hmmm, park back there & walk through to the back of the house.......(again) hmmmm

Looking at the layout sketch of the house - only two bedrooms both on the second story - wouldn't take much time to find out who was in each room. I also noticed the deck on the back side - I bet you are right - there is probably a couple of doors out of the house on the back side - possibly a large sliding type door at the deck and a conventional door from the garage based on looking at that sketch.

Odd shaped lot but quite large - 1.8 acres so the neighbors definitely were not all that close. Makes me wonder if the police have used search dogs to check out that area. More questions....

i read somewhere that there were 3 or more bedrooms upstairs (maybe it was 3 or 4 rooms, though....& there were 3 "bonus rooms" downstairs....i know i read something like that...heck, i can't remember....

did anyone hear, early on, about search dogs in the first few days?..did anyone in the media see search dogs brought out??.....i haven't heard/read about it...interesting...

Okay folks - help me out here please. I have been looking at map quest, checking the Chart One website for locations (sadly am assuming that the meeting was at a Chart One facility) and puzzling over where this meeting could have been that would fit with this fellow stopping by his parents after the meeting. The Chart One web site doesn't list all the locations, however just checking the job listings a few areas can be found that would fit with this case. I am sure there are probably other locations in NC that must not have job listings at this time.

First question - does anyone know or have a link that actually gives a location for where this meeting was ? I know Virginia has been spoken of but given the location of Brevard - southwest of Asheville - Virgina just doesn't fit for a swing by visit with the folks.

From mapping out the Chart One locations with job listings closer to Brevard, I come up with Anderson SC, Knoxville & Morrisville TN. From just getting mileage estimates - Anderson SC is beyond a five hour drive. Knoxville and Morrisville are within the five hour drive if the four lanes are taken. Of course I cannot rule out the meeting was actually in the beautiful state of NC itself as I can find no locations listed in NC.

Has anyone else gone through this exercise and come up with anything else ? Please share - this is pressing my buttons. TIA

Greta is certainly trying to get information out of the sheriff - good try, not much luck though. One thing that struck me was he did say they did not need search warrants to get fingerprints from folks ( other than Jason).

While he was definitely out of town by at least five hours...and that could be proven beyond all doubt.

Most definitely ! I used Chart One just as an idea, as it is the only "known" I am aware of. I am having great trouble believing any meeting he had was in Virginia though, it certainly doesn't add up.

nope...nothing that gives the "actual" location....ya think Jason told LE when they asked him "briefly" on Friday, November 3rd??...you know they had to ask him that question, right?

the location for this 'business meeting' has been pushin my buttons for the last 3 days.....wherever it was, would have to jive with whatever time the friends say he left the house, if in fact he did leave while they were there, & the time he called Michelle (if this is true) at around 11 pm...phone records would give his 'location' for the 11 pm call....

oh thanks raisin!....there's a tiny road just beyond the woods behind the house...someone could have parked there & walked straight through to the back of the house, looks like to me, without any problem....wonder if LE has checked for tire prints around that area.....this is a great aerial photo

Unless he was going somewhere in the far western part of Virginia...then he could just drop down into the western part of NC where Brevard is.

So...did I get this right on Greta tonite? - Jason drove back to his house after he heard the news and that's when they took his SUV from him?

I thought I had read that the cops took his luggage as well as his family's. Which family was that? I was thinking all along that it was his parents.
