Jason Young has said he slipped out that evening to get a head start for an early morning sales meeting in Virginia, according to Fussell, who said he talked to Jason Young at his wife's funeral.

Michelle Young stayed behind with Cassidy; a girlfriend came over to watch TV with her, the friend told Fussell. Cassidy popped in a DVD of "Cinderella" -- a Halloween gift -- and watched until she fell fast asleep.

so this is on the list of things "we know" now...from Jason's own mouth...i'm wondering though, if it was Jason or Michelle's girlfriend that told Fussell about her coming over & about Cassidy falling asleep, etc.....from the wording, it kind of threw me, but i'm picking everything apart ....lol

first reading it, Jason is telling all of this to Fussell, & if that's the case, then he WAS there while Michelle's girlfriend was there, then he "slipped out" for his meeting in VA......

I noticed her voice warbling at times and it broke my heart. I think she was staying strong for Cassidy too.

That operator was definitely strictly business. I'm removing that as a career choice for me. I'd be all about "where's her husband? what do you mean he's out of town? he told you to do what?! what's that darling little girl saying in the background?"

I guess that job is not for me either, I am pretty sure I would be kicked off for using the "f" word... or running off at the mouth in general...

OK. Seeing as we don't know everything - we're free to cover all bases, no? Lamb-baste me for this, but what if Jason was seeing someone else - and he met up with her while on this, ehem, business trip?

If he did not commit the murder - then maybe that someone else is the 'poster across all forums', fiercely protecting her man?

Let's assume the rumours that Jason was going to spend Saturday at his parents are true. That being so - he didnt NEED to get Meredith over there immediately, right? Michelle was popular - she had arrangements - someone would have checked on her in 48 hours plus??

Theory A:

Jason's innocent - & taking the above a step forward: what if ... the fax about a gift was NEVER intended for Michelle in the first place? It was for 'someone else' - and ... Jason didn't want to be discovered; he panicked and called Meredith to go collect it with some BS story the gift was for Michelle?

Theory B:

Jason's guilty; He's arranged to meet 'her' at a hotel/motel; she may/may not have known his plan - but she knows he was with *her*although she cannot say as much. Next day, he coldy realizes he's forgotten to hide very telling evidence about his indiscretions. Makes up same story to Meredith. If 'she' knew of his plan, this was a sleek mission. He may have used her vehicle? He may have had her help? His car would be spotless; few would recognize the car?

Well, if he was in Virginia for a meeting - he had time to come back to Raleigh in the middle of the night, he also went way out of his way to go see the folks as well. Nothing wrong with seeing the folks but an incredible coincidence is my thought. Like going fishing at the bay...:silenced: :silenced: :silenced:

Perhaps this Fussell fellow is the "friend" doing all the posting.

perhaps, but from what Pack posted last night, there were several friends talking with Jason, after the funeral....Pack said he/she isn't REAL close to Jason or Michelle, but he/she has close friends that are.....there's probably a few of them 'out & about' on these message boards....

& yes, he had time to come back to Raleigh in the middle of the night....

ETA....sure wish the 11 pm phone call, we've been hearing about, had been mentioned.....but this info is solid, IMO & it's a good start...maybe more will come out soon...

This tells me, his meeting wasn't terribly far from home really, since he supposedly called his wife at 11 pm. Doesn't wash with me - I've left for 8 am meetings in both KC and St. Louis the morning of the meetings and both of these locations are 3.5 and 4 hours away from me. Un uh... something rotten in Denmark IMO.

I haven't posted on that (unless I was really, really tired last night). I am under the impression that you can't be charged for the death of an unborn child. Someone posted a link earlier, much earlier, possibly on another board but I didn't read. Took it at face value.....

Yikes!! Harsh yes - but harsher things have happened and nothing's impossible, Taximom. And yep, if we're going to brave enough to cover all bases - there's nom point being shy: none of this is accusatory. It's all speculation, anyway.

And so ...Jason *makes sure* folk see him leave with his suitcases (grande exit) and he drives away, checks in to hotel - comes back and collects g/f - does deed - disappears...

i also read that NC doesn't 'recognize' the unborn child as part of being charged....i think several states do now, but not NC yet....like you, i read this somewhere....here or on another site....

Hi Pack! Nice to see you back in here. Damn nuisance when work interferes with our lives, eh? Fire the lot of them!

OK - we've so moved on since way back when - utmost respect to you and fellow posters, however so much has been covered on your posts.

I've been reading links, looking at maps and houses; thinking about Garage doors ... trailer parks ... and the wider horizon, lol.

As has been repeatedly posted, the uncanny similarities to SP are more than spooky. It's Cosmic Karma, if true! (Irrespective of who did this - 2 Angels are together with babes-in-arms, watching us continue the fight for justice in here. No, make that 3. Janet's also with them...)

The only problem I keep coming back to is that the 11 o clock phone call hasn't been verified- and Jason could say anything he wanted at the funeral as no one can really dispute his word. This is not a slam to any of Jason's friends or aquaintances in anyway but seriously, from the lack of info that LE has put out here and the fact that the only person who can give us real information is Michelle- and Jason isn't talking to LE but apparently yappin up a storm about every phone call and otherwise to all these "friends", I don't know if any info is solid. I have plenty of friends that I would stand behind and say, "She would never do such a thing!"... but no one knows what really went on behind closed doors.
