I went back to the Greta interview with the Sheriff and he said that they had a "brief" conversation with Jason when they contacted him on Nov 3.

There's another interview that looks interesting. I was halfway through, just when they start talking about the garage door, and the video glitched and stopped so I'm watching it again.

http://www.foxnews.com/video2/playe...helle Young?&On the Record&-1&Shows&880&&&exp

Dang dont you just hate it when that happens?

I saw Greta's show but I will go back and listen again. Thanks.

No we don't know if there is a fax but we do know from the Sheriff's mouth in Greta's interview that he was aware the reason Meridith went there was to retrieve a fax.
And the same Sheriff said he didn't know if there was a fax machine in the home! After two weeks he doesn't know this? I think he knows and doesn't want to answer just yet.

Or he's playing games and Greta was too specific by asking about a "fax machine" when maybe she should have asked "is there a machine capable of receiving a fax in the home?" :D

It happened to me again ... the video just quits when there is 3 minutes and 44 seconds left to go. Anyone able to see what happens next? It's like a cliff hanger about the garage door.

Ok I am confused. Where is it coming from that he received no support from Michelle's family or gave none to them. Last I heard they absolutely think Jason had nothing to do with any of this.

Help, I am lost now! lol

IMO

Hi, whoaaa, Ocean ... I did not state he has received no support from his wife's family: I mentioned is appears they're distancing themselves from him. Huge difference.

He COULD have gone and stood next to MY's mom and sister; He said NOTHING, asked nothing - not even a communal prayer, to all about his late wife.

He lawyered up & saddled up. Seems to me he has NOT cooperated. As close_enough succinctly put it earlier, it's like he was snubbing LE with "This is YOUR case, not mine - I'm not going to help you do your job..." He's entitled to a lawyer, sure. However there are moral/social obligations and responsibilities that come to a man as breeding and through INSTINCT. He seems to have ignored the better part of valour, imo.

If this is 'the warm, wonderful, goofiest, funniest, loveliest guy in the world - so in love with Michelle" - well then, I say:

"Really? Gee. I see..."

JMHO...

ok....let's say JY did this...

he calls Meredith to go over & retrieve a "fax"...(that's what we've read over & over in the articles..."a fax")

IF he murdered Michelle, then why would he say this to Meredith if there really wasn't a fax to retrieve????.....unless, i'm giving him too much credit, for trying to be ahead of the game w/LE, i'd say there should have been SOMETHING there for Meredith to retrieve......

now, lets say that the fax wasn't necessarily sent to the home to a fax machine, but rather a fax sent to him somewhere else...maybe at work???....he lays it on his desk at home, THEN uses that to have Meredith to go over to the house......maybe there really isn't a fax machine at the house, (i'm thinking there is though) but should have been some kind of paperwork/fax somewhere around his desk????........if he did this, & there was no fax/document at the house for Meredith to pick up, then he screwed up ...imo

ETA....that's IF he planned & did this....

psa--- what or where is it that you are able to state they appear to be distances themselves from each other? This whole case has me crazy because there are no facts, no media and no le making comments, so I am worried that I have missed an interview, or news story that makes you interrupt their relationship at the funereal or now

I guess I need to clean out the cob webs in my brain today because I thought that was exactly what you were saying! lol Sorry.

I thought I read somewhere (so much reading now lol) that he was highly emotional at the funeral and that her family is very close to Jason. I am sure they are aware that the police is trying to target him for this....we dont know how they feel about that. Maybe they think he should protect himself by hiring a lawyer?

So much rumors and speculations on this one very little facts. We NEED something of substance. I wish LE would make a move one way or the other.

See PSA, I think it is very easy for us to say what we would do if the police suspected us but we aren't the ones in the bullseye. An accusation of murder! Oh my gosh...I just cant imagine how someone would react to that knowing that innocent people have gone to prison. It has to be one of the most stressful things ever and pile on the loss of your loved ones. I just dont know...even if he is innocent I think it is best he got a lawyer.

They don't say anything about the garage door other than give the location of it with respect to the front door and that there are two windows in the garage.

I was looking for transcripts and came across these photos of Greta's crew at work ... plus a shot of the ladder. It looks to me like it's just a small ladder.

http://www.foxnews.com/photoessay/0,4644,1264,00.html#10_0

hmmm, i've seen pics where the ladder wasn't even sitting there like that....i've seen pics where the garage door was closed, but looked to be lifted just a tad....

wonder if this was a picture taken after LE had already gone through the house..i'm thinking it is, since Greta got there much later in the investigation????

(gosh, Jim Hammer is a cutie)

Precisely, close_enough.

The only reason I wondered about the fax which, if missing is PURE SPECULATION, is because the Jasonites came in to 'fully inform us" and post facts from fiction - stating this was not a fax - it was a print-out. This clarification came within days of the crime (that this poster hit the web with the same cut and paste, er, ridiculous FACT sheet... IMO).

The press/media have never changed the story: only those 'close' to Jason have. So - I wondered: why they would do that? 2 reasons: it's true and the entire media screwed up on a basic detail - or the fax was not there (or not critical) and Jason's talking himself out of mumbo-jumbo or changing his story to a printout, or something. But that;s only my suggestion as to what might be missing.

If anything's missing, lol. Which is why I posted that looooong post about WHAT WE KNOW, because as witnessed now - everything is a mish mash of waffle and hearsay.

Lawd.... I'm about outta here!

i would think he's 'distancing himself', just by staying 5 hours away from Raleigh, but that's just my opinion.....why wouldn't the entire family hook up near the investigation??....i mean i don't see that as being a big problem for JY & his family, seeing that his wife was brutally murdered in Raleigh.....

Thanks. I was hoping they would give info about whether the garage was open a bit or whether it worked just fine. There has been some discussion about the garage door not closing properly, but I haven't seen any photos. In fact, from the frozen video at 3 min. 44 sec., the door looks like it's completely closed.

yes....the list of "fact" that the 'friend' posted over at ctv.....it's the same list that says JY told friends that he had an early morning meeting in Virginia....we now know that's what he's actually told someone....i think this 'friend' was on the up & up, to be honest, SINCE this trip to VA doesn't really help the story of "swinging back to his parents place" right?? AND the fact that a person can leave Raliegh & be up over the state line to VA in less than 2 hours.......this list of 'fact' also had on it the 11 pm phone call....i'm thinking he DID make that 11 pm phone call too......& it COULD be that the fax thing WAS worded wrong from the get-go....Jason could have merely said "retrieve a fax", which COULD have meant a document that had been faxed to him prior...........i think this 'friend' that posted the "fact" list over there, was truly trying to help in their own way to defend JY...they were only going by what JY told some friends at the funeral.........

Hi j2mirish: well ... first up a picture paints a thousand words and at the funeral, those pictures painted abook. MOO

Jason was nowhere near Michelle's mum, sister or family. He came in surrounded by Men In Black and left. Perhaps he was upset - but not to go stand next to Michelle's mom - no pics of hugging .... there was no warmth; yet the day before we saw JY's "friends" repeatedly posting this was a very close family, they were so deeply in love, he is gutted, etc. MOO

So gutted that he couldn't stand up and say even 2 words (good-bye Michelle). He is not the only one hurt. MOO

Mom's speech was very clear cut and she emphasized the words "I .... HAVE .... GREAT .... FAITH in the police" (or similar)

And I have read it - heaven only knows where, lol:

This is giving me a headache, heh ... thanks for your post, j2m :)

There is a lot of speculation about how people would react in a crime. Getting personal here for a minute, but I was suspected of a crime once and I wanted to do everything I could to clear myself. I voluntarily spoke with the police and anyone else that wanted to talk with me. When the police said they had enough evidence to charge me so why don't I just confess, I called a lawyer. The advice was to leave the police station because if they had evidence, they would charge me and if they were bluffing, they would let me walk out. I walked out. Eventually I was cleared, but it was a very harrowing experience. Hiding from the police seems like the most unproductive thing to do when suspected of a crime because it can only get better by clearing the air and jumping whatever hoops they place in front of you. If Jason is innocent, he shouldn't be afraid to meet with the police and answer any questions they have regarding his movements and activities from the time he left the house until the time when he returned the following day.
