hammer doesn't say anything about the working condition of the garage door - Greta does tease alot..

right, she also 'teased' about the question of the Young's having a security alarm too, but nothing was revealed about it, other than there was a sign in front of a neighbor's house showing that THEY had an alarm system...ugh

yes....the list of "fact" that the 'friend' posted over at ctv.....it's the same list that says JY told friends that he had an early morning meeting in Virginia....we now know that's what he's actually told someone....i think this 'friend' was on the up & up, to be honest, SINCE this trip to VA doesn't really help the story of "swinging back to his parents place" right?? AND the fact that a person can leave Raliegh & be up over the state line to VA in less than 2 hours.......this list of 'fact' also had on it the 11 pm phone call....i'm thinking he DID make that 11 pm phone call too......& it COULD be that the fax thing WAS worded wrong from the get-go....Jason could have merely said "retrieve a fax", which COULD have meant a document that had been faxed to him prior...........i think this 'friend' that posted the "fact" list over there, was truly trying to help in there own way to defend JY...they were only going by what JY told some friends at the funeral.........

That list .... set the panther among the turkeys: Whole lotta noise that was (IMO, IMO) designed to confuse facts, news, thoughts, suspicions and memories.

LOL ...Oh, ... :blowkiss: you're toooo patient, close. Bless yah. :)

LOL....i just feel like this one person 'friend' really was relaying what JY told them at the funeral, in hopes of defending him.....since the VA info was correct, who's to say the other stuff isn't....i imagine there's a LOT of talk going around thru the circle of friends ..... especially the ones at the funeral...

i know, i know...we can't believe EVERYTHING on that list of "fact", but ......

yikes!....i don't remember her mentioning a hammer.....i know that the Sheriff gave a slight grin when she asked if they knew what the murder weapon was....he said "we've collected a lot of evidence".....

i'm going to bet what whoever did this, wore gloves...(just throwing that out there)

There is a lot of speculation about how people would react in a crime. Getting personal here for a minute, but I was suspected of a crime once and I wanted to do everything I could to clear myself. I voluntarily spoke with the police and anyone else that wanted to talk with me. When the police said they had enough evidence to charge me so why don't I just confess, I called a lawyer. The advice was to leave the police station because if they had evidence, they would charge me and if they were bluffing, they would let me walk out. I walked out. Eventually I was cleared, but it was a very harrowing experience. Hiding from the police seems like the most unproductive thing to do when suspected of a crime because it can only get better by clearing the air and jumping whatever hoops they place in front of you. If Jason is innocent, he shouldn't be afraid to meet with the police and answer any questions they have regarding his movements and activities from the time he left the house until the time when he returned the following day.

wow otto!....interesting for sure.....

see, i think MOST people, if they're innocent will talk to LE, for the most part...they WANT to be ruled out ASAP....but i also understand how LE will 'bluff' folks...very scary stuff, indeed!

SP had no choice...he was at the home the night LE started searching for Laci, sooooo he yakked it up w/them, BUT his actions & info made them, AND Sharon Rocha suspicious.....

Ha ha, was a tease/play on words with Hammer, the guest with Greta, but it IS one of the wild-card theories, lol.

Yep, close, I think they wore gloves too, plus maybe Glad-Wrap. Horrific blunt force trauma? Someone esarlier mentioned a mag-lite; the hammer was suggested ... and a mallet .... ... maybe a tool item is missing? I doubt LE are going to say a word to the Media.

Hundreds of questions; many combinations - zero details. Ag!

I think you can use what you hear for purposes of thinking things through, just don't take it as full gospel at this point ! You are most likely getting some truisms - watch mostly for consistency and use that for weight in your conclusions. You're doing alright !

LOL..ok (jim) hammer....gosh, the murder weapon could be just about anything, huh?.....& i agree; we're not going to hear what kind of weapon was used, anytime soon, i don't suppose....BUT if the person had gloves on, they very well could have just left the weapon there.....

yes yes...lots & lots of questions for sure....AND no 'real' details

I went back to the Greta interview with the Sheriff and he said that they had a "brief" conversation with Jason when they contacted him on Nov 3.

There's another interview that looks interesting. I was halfway through, just when they start talking about the garage door, and the video glitched and stopped so I'm watching it again.

http://www.foxnews.com/video2/playe...helle Young?&On the Record&-1&Shows&880&&&exp

ugh, i can't get that to open at all......

i've got to run out for a bit, but will be back, & try again....

later folks!

I had a similar experience Otto. It was very clear to me that the police were on a fishing expedition. I hired a lawyer immediately. The policeman criticized me for getting a lawyer saying he was concerned about the expense I was going through. I told him not to concern himself with that.

My lawyer told me I didn't need to respond to their request for an interview. I told my lawyer I had nothing to hide and wanted to participate but only with him beside me. When I told the cop to arrange a time with my lawyer he was really upset let me tell you.

We went to the 'interview' and it was the closest thing to an interrogation that I'd ever experienced. It was pretty scary and thank goodness my lawyer was there with me. It was the best $500 I'd ever spent. My name was cleared.

If Jason has nothing to hide, I don't understand why he isn't going this route.

Okay, I'm throwing this out there... if Jason sold medical software, does this mean he is going to doctor's offices? I only ask because medical gloves are readily available in any doctor's offices. Just a little "silly food for thought" and most likely meaningless BUT....:slap: (This for me because I jump to many conclusions...)

Someone earlier posted that perhaps the fax/printout could be missing (as per the "Jason's friend" comment about something being missing)... I think that could be a strong possibility. I would tend to lean towards Jason having his own laptop- wouldn't taking orders from customers of his job maybe require it? Sorry, more speculation on my part. (Meaning that he wouldn't have any reason to have Meredith go to the house to check the expected "fax" for it's arrival as there was no reason he couldn't collect a fax himself?)

The earlier references to Michael Fletcher that I made were based on the idea that Michelle would have fought off a potential attacker (she must have had a certain ammount of strength being a cheerleader- and a mom) and in my mind the only person who could indeed catch her in a vulnerable position would perhaps be her husband. I would be inclined to think that she would have fought tooth and nail with a stranger- possibly awakening Cassidy, but if Jason came back in the house after leaving once, would she think twice if he wanted to say goodbye? I tell you, if any of my children were left in jeopardy to a stranger in the house, I would make dang sure that I could protect them, even if it meant "playing dead"... no way in my heart can I believe a "momma bear" would leave her cub. Just my opinion, and I hate to think the worst of the husband and hope I am not crossing any lines here but his lack of voice (that I've heard -or not heard?) seems to speak volumes. (Be patient with me please, too many SP similarities here for me to stop this line of thought..)

There you go, we did what is normally expected. That is, we spoke with the police and when they tried to railroad us, we sought the advice of a lawyer. That seems to be the thing that innocent people do. I can't think of any innocent reason why Jason is not contacting the police to enquire about their progress and whether there is anything he can do to assist. That's funny that you had a similar experience ... sure is mighty scary at the time, without a doubt.

Chart One sells medical chart systems to hospitals and medical offices. It seems that they provide something like a secure server where the information can be stored and easily access for a monthly fee. Anyone selling the software to use this system would have to have a laptop so they could demo the software.

It definitely seems that he could have received the "fax" or "computer printout" on his own laptop or email address. He could have printed it out anytime he was near a printer again.

Michelle was in her bedroom, but not in bed ... at least that's my understanding. Maybe she heard a noise and was running into the bedroom where she could maybe make a phone call? It just seems that things would have happened really quickly if she couldn't get to the phone, and that doesn't work with someone being a complete stranger. Strangers don't know the layout of the house and they don't enter the house without leaving a point of breaking in. Also, if she was woken up by a noise, she may have thought it was Cassidy and didn't have the phone with her for making an emergency call. I don't know where I'm going with this, but I'm trying to figure out the events that happened in the house.

Okay, so it would be feasible for Jason to have a laptop which could mean that he really didn't need Meredith to retrieve a fax. OR he did. (Nothing in stone here...) I have to say there are plenty of places to get a fax or otherwise (office supply stores or banks).

I think the bedroom is a personal place and Jason *could have* came back home under the premise of forgetting something or/and just coming home because "he missed her so much he had to say goodbye again" or something along those lines? It wouldn't shake her if it was Jason. If it was a predator or intruder, I would be more prone to think that she would have dragged her body out of the bedroom to protect her "baby"? Half dead or not, I would have to *believe* that as a mom, I would indeed grab any ounce of energy I had to protect my baby in the next room. That is where my thoughts are at and I would have to think the fight (whether we know it happened or not) would have escalated throught the whole house. Does that make sense?

Let me ask you something otto, please.

When they notified the family and they in turn told Jason, did they all come back that day? Friday, the day Michelle was found? The same day that LE seized his vehicle, all the family's luggage including his, prescription medications that belonged to his mother and father?

Is this when the step-father obtained a lawyer for Jason and said he didn't trust the police?

Thanks bunches.

The fax, to me, looks like a ruse. First, there is no reason why it couldn't have been sent a few days later when he was home. Second, if he works for Chart One, he works with selling software solutions so he had to have a laptop. He should have had the paperwork sent to him, not to the home "general use" computer. Invoices can easily be sent as pdf files. Finally, as I mentioned earlier, many people set up their computers for individual log on so anything sent to him would not be accessible to Michelle. Now if it's a real fax, and not a computer print out, then it would go directly to the fax machine and I'm guessing that it would just start printing. Again, it makes no sense that he would have it sent to his home on Friday morning when he knows he's not home.

The point that he thought Michelle was at work just doesn't make sense either. We have heard that Michelle had a doctor's appointment in the morning (not from media reports) so obviously he knew about the doctor's appointment and her usual Fridays off, so why would he think that she was at work? Did he think that she would book a doctor's appointment on her usual Friday off and then go to work afterwards? Why didn't he know her schedule? We've heard that he made two phone calls in the morning and assumed that she was at her doctor's appointment ... soooooooo ... why have the fax sent to the house when there's a good chance she's going home for the afternoon?
