This is extremely interesting. I wonder why neither has been established. Perhaps, the grieving husband is the one that needs to be pushing to get both of these things established. What are the odds of this happening??

I would think JY would come back to his house to get cloths for himself and Cassidy, check the mailbox, etc.

Has his vehicle and belongings been returned.

Goodness, we need info here!!

ALSO there's been no tip-line set up...

;)

Now that is very odd. LE did want people to call in if they saw anything between midnight and 6:00am to the number they gave out, but that was only in the first few days of the murder. Now we hear nothing.

yep, he had a window of opportunity, but his timeline can be blown out of the water, if it doesn't jive....if he called her at 11 pm, wherever he called her from will have to jive with that call....when he checked into a motel/hotel will have to jive with the time traveled.....IF he did this, i really feel there will be a period of time that's unaccounted for, if you take the 11 pm phone call, & IF he was already at his destination in VA at the time of phone call.....
I have been reading here, but the threads move so fast I may have missed this. My sneaky brain had a thought.

I checked Mapquest and from Raleigh to Danville, VA is about 2 hours (85 miles approx). Drive to a motel, check in, leave your credit card to be charged. Drive back home, kill Michelle, drive back to motel in VA. You don't need to actually check out if you left your credit card. You may not have been remembered by anyone staying at the motel, just the clerk saw you check in. If you want a time to call, then maybe you called from the motel at 11:00 pm. After all, you were in your room then. Even if you used a cell phone, they could triangulate your position at the motel. If you didn't use your cell phone after that, and no one remembered seeing you there or not, then there would be no phone records after that call. For all anyone knows you were sleeping. Going back home and returning to the motel would fall into the estimated time of death.

I don't know if anyone put this forward, but sometimes I miss posts due to work and the sheer volume of the three threads. Great job everyone.

What I do is say, oh Nancy Grace is on, he looks at me with a frown watching his sports channels. I say ok I will go upstairs then, even though we have 2 tv's downstairs. He then says, ok honey you can watch it here. I smile and offer to make him a drink or something. Hee Hee

My goodness, what a nice husband!! My husband would say, "Bah-bye..." as I was walking up the stairs. :)

Very good! I think after all of us following these crimes we could put our heads together and pull off the perfect crime. LOL

My advice is that you and Nan skip on over to the nearest discount store and buy a 13 inch tv for about $60 to $70 and put it in the kitchen. I have a small one in the bedroom. Have dish and the second hookup was free.

LOL. Do you pout? That always helps. Of course If I want to watch a lifetime movie he might say bye bye and don't let the door hit ya. LOL

Good post, BG. Someone help me out here. I thought that I read that a cell phone could be tracked if it were left on, even if you hadn't used it to make any calls. Something about the cell phone pinging against towers... Is this true? Would this data be captured and available for review??

Nothing helps. I control the remotes in the house, but I know what programs that he will tolerate. I know that I have to watch crime shows on my own time! Now, my husband will watch the Lifetime movies. Hmmm...we married opposites. ;)

We have five televisions in our house; and there are only two of us! Plus, my kitchen is open and blends right into the family room. The big screen television (and sound) would win out!

I'm okay, though. I watch everything that I want to watch--sooner or later!

hey, y/w SewingDeb :) Aww, I know, hubby owns that remote as if it's a pacemaker, lol ... I have no option but to go for the t/script, later. Happy to do so.

Nice to see you in here..

What do you make of the silence from Sheriff's office and no reward - no tip line et al?

Thanks. I think the no tip line, no reward must mean they have enough to work on without input from the public at this time. Hope that means all their ducks are in a row.

The ODDS? Neighbors to ZERO (and that's a naughty play on words, lol cos I think odds are the neighbor has zero to do with this!) Otherwise, I know, nanandjim! It's almost as if the last public requests were made at the funeral by MY's mom ... and the Sheriff.... basically: if anyone saw a vehicle between midnight and 6. We've heard nothing and the repeat requests stopped a week ago. No tipline - and as CTV posters mentioned - no reward set up.

Could that mean there's no need to repeat calls for help? Could it be they're on the last lap?

Where do my thoughts and feelings lie RIGHT NOW? With Cassie and Michelle's family. Clearly JY doesn't give a continental *&%# ... (IMO)

Strach,

I took a quick run over to the CTV board just out of being nosey since it was brought up here. I don't think I'd be too worried about it. I noted they are still arguing about warrants and such. I quess I don't understand why some can't seem to comprehend what the Sheriff said in his interview with Greta, he quite clearly says there have been no warrants to get other fingerprints, those people stepped up and gave what was necessary. I am not going back.

I bring this up because if you look at the bottom of this board it tells you who is here and how many quests are viewing - there are always more quests than members. So someone picked up your idea and dramatically spit it out for effect over on CTV. I reference it this way because your approach is 180 degrees different - no dramatics, just logical thinking and deduction aimed to provoke thought. :)

Hi Strach, I'm 3 pages back so borrowed Charlies post because it says exactly what I feel. Hope that's OK Charlie. Now I'm wondering how we know the Master Bedroom was up a flight of stairs. I haven't seen it referenced and maybe haven't read every link.

And Annie, I agree with you totally. We do have a great group of posters over here, and what I meant in my earlier comments is when we see one from here that also posts at CTV like Ocean for instance, her posts shine. WS breeds top notch posters! Your comment "felt more like a campaign to me." about the poster over there with the inside info is exactly how I take his remarks too. He's known Jason for 10 years and feels he has nothing to do with Michelle's murder.

I was hoping there would be some news today!
Well, I better go back and continue reading - there might be!

Hi packerdog! Uh-huh .... it's simply an echo in our ears, that's all. Maybe there's no need for tip lines and rewards? Persoanlly, I feel that they (JY + Smith&Wesson in Brevard vs Fishers/LE Raleigh) may have been at Check-Mate the last few days? JY won't move - cos his lawyers refuse; LE are sitting there saying "come and get it" (vehicle, chat, etc). Without common decency and being a gentleman let alone a grieving husband ... someone/something is going to crack and do it the long, hard way.

JY's silence has gone beyond A reasonable doubt, in my opinion. I just feel sorry for those that MAY have been suckered in by his perfect, sweet, nice, goofy history. He leaves for business trip, that night his wife murdered - he send SIL to house to collect "secret fax" - she finds body; sheriff confirm no random crime - he's instantly court ordered to submit various goods and flees back to Brevard? Doesn't even examine crime scene or stay with MY's parents/family? And... that's LOVE???

I'm convinced there's another woman (or so) lurking in his secret past. Y'know: He just has too many silly lil secrets; remains secretive and secretly talks to others to post about his secret timeline. Not to mention his secret fax. he sure knows how to manipulate and draw others into his secret thinking.

Not just disturbing, it's B A L O N E Y .... (but then, JMHO...)

YES!!! BGoddess!!!...this has been my line of thinking for daaaaays....i think he did go to VA, but i think it was within a 2-3 hour drive .....heck there's places right over the line within an hour & a half.....he did the routine thing of checking in & got right back in his car....i wouldn't be a bit surprised if we end up finding this out....i'm sooooooo glad someone else has thought of this....
