Well....they're in the "know" as of this morning courtesy of RC! :D It will be interesting to see which one of the "friends" at CTV puts up this breaking news!lol

Thanks RC for getting that info for us! :)

Hi Jilly, Remember it was Otto who first put two and two together about who the Honda belonged to, not to take anything away from Charlie. LOL

I've just read Charlies brilliant statement about the lights having been left on a couple of days before, which could have been the signal for a hit man.
So to get this straight, Thursday evening Michelle had friend/s over who left at about 10:30. We figure that because she was in full rigor acc to Merediths comment on tape Michelle was stiff, that she was killed sometime between 10:30 and 1:30 to make the timing right for rigor {plus the up to 2 hours going into the begining of rigor} and then she was found at 1:30 on Friday afternoon.

Charlie, the article was written or published on Sat the 4th. Do you think the comment about the lights being on would mean during the daytime on Thursday? Lights would naturally be on in the darktime hours and up to the breaking of dawn, right?

Scandi Still catching up ;)

YES, me too Polk....i mentioned the same thing waaaay back in the last thread...or maybe it was the first....anyway, if this is what happened, & it could very well be the case....JY checks in, & goes back to the house...does whatever it is he 'did', THEN he heads for the area where his early morning meeting was suppose to be......(which might have been hours away)...that's why i have a feeling JY was doing a LOT of driving that night.......

O/T...my nephew is on his way to pick up his daughter (my great niece)...whew!..she's a lil pistol i tell ya!...she's quietly watching Backyardigans right now....shhhhhh, lol

My advice is that you and Nan skip on over to the nearest discount store and buy a 13 inch tv for about $60 to $70 and put it in the kitchen. I have a small one in the bedroom. Have dish and the second hookup was free.
There are more tv's in the house- kids rooms- I have never wanted one in the br--- maybe the kitchen would work! :blowkiss:

We've got 3. Neh-neh....na-neh-nehhhh. LOL.

Er: Note: they're not made up of the latest, hi-tec, cinema-sound, mutli-screen, high-res, pulsating plasma, of course .... 2 are good ole 21" and the 3rd is a dinky lil 13-incher. (After all, ehem .... size doesn't count; it's what you do with it .... hahahahaaaaa :silenced: )

That's why I DVR (tape) the shows that I want to watch. My husband hates any type of crime show and refuses to watch them!!

Ohhh Nana, that is awful!~ I would revolt somehow or try to come to a compromise. :p Like none of this maybe for awhile till he gets the hint! LOL

Great take Annie on no tip line. I would say this is most unusual to have no reward or tip line. Like someone said, I think they are just polishing their case.

This is not meant to bash a victim, and Meredith is a victim here. Just covering all angles. She was younger, spent time at the house taking care of baby, runing errands, etc, and am wondering if maybe she was involved in any way. I read that possibility at CTV and poo-pooed it. But if there was an accomplice, who would that have been?

I'm not so sure there was an accomplice who did the killing, maybe only to find the body, and the Sheriff said persons in error or we heard it wrong. If Cassidy's first word to Meredith after she first asked Cassidy what happened was 'Daddy . .' maybe he did it himself. Also did you notice that after Meredith heard Cassidy say this so plainly, she asked her again what happened, did her mommy fall, etc. I caught that right away and thought it was very suspicious, as though to illicit a new comment from Cassidy and nullify the first comment she made. Anyone else catch that?

I have a hard time with her word fluke. If she had been called by Josh to go over to the house to pick up something I wouldn't call that being there by fluke. That would be going there for a specific purpose.

If this were the case, Her trauma at the scene would be genuine as it would be the first time she saw her saister dead. Aww, I could be all wet here. Maybe we'll have a break in the case today. Guess this gal's watching NG tonight whether or not she wants to. Scandi

Zackly... D'you know, I am sure LE are feeling for Michelle's family (naturally...). I think these guys totally resent such senseless murders - and of course they want results and closures to help heal the pain. This Thanksgiving is going to be very difficult for Michelle's family - and it's but days away. Perhaps God will bring closure of some sort shortly before Thanksgiving so that - despite the occasion being a sombre one - there may be 'just something' for Michelle's family to be thankful for: that being the results of an accumulation of dots.

Let's all give a minutes silence when we can, at some stage to day, or even when lurkers, newbies, oldies, regulars, rivals or random members read this post: For Michelle and her Angel Baby and for little Cassie - that sweet little voice we've heard so many times on an emergncy tape ... may her footprints build a stairway to heaven for her mom and baby brother to keep shining on. For Michelle's family, too - and all broken hearts.... Thanks are given for their life...

:( :blowkiss: :(

For all anyone knows you were sleeping. Going back home and returning to the motel would fall into the estimated time of death.
On that note, I wonder if the room key registered any information. Sicne they're those credit card type things now, perhaps there's an electronic trail of the comings and goings (ie, time door first opened), or the lack thereof (maybe he never went into the room). That might have yielded some clues.

Good post, BG. Someone help me out here. I thought that I read that a cell phone could be tracked if it were left on, even if you hadn't used it to make any calls. Something about the cell phone pinging against towers... Is this true? Would this data be captured and available for review??
I would like to know this answer too-

Agreed, except he has to get his credit card back in the morning. They don't actually make the charge against it until you check out, to make sure nothing is stolen from the room. At least that has been my experience.

I have been reading here, but the threads move so fast I may have missed this. My sneaky brain had a thought.

I checked Mapquest and from Raleigh to Danville, VA is about 2 hours (85 miles approx). Drive to a motel, check in, leave your credit card to be charged. Drive back home, kill Michelle, drive back to motel in VA. You don't need to actually check out if you left your credit card. You may not have been remembered by anyone staying at the motel, just the clerk saw you check in. If you want a time to call, then maybe you called from the motel at 11:00 pm. After all, you were in your room then. Even if you used a cell phone, they could triangulate your position at the motel. If you didn't use your cell phone after that, and no one remembered seeing you there or not, then there would be no phone records after that call. For all anyone knows you were sleeping. Going back home and returning to the motel would fall into the estimated time of death.

I don't know if anyone put this forward, but sometimes I miss posts due to work and the sheer volume of the three threads. Great job everyone.
Excellent thoughts and it sure could be possible ~ as long as no one saw him leaving the motel, or returning to it, and he'd have to turn off the cell phone, make sure he didn't get a speeding ticket, stop for gas, etc.

nan ... I *think* the cell phone owner has to have the phone ON. If JY called Meredith from his mobile - then they're be able to track nearest tower. IF ... he kept it off and called from a landline say from the alleged business meeting offices ... then they may be stumped. However, I feel that may add to a circumstantial case - they'd check bak on previous trips to determine if he regularly switched off his mobile phone.

I am also convinced Meredith's phone would have been tracked - to validate her testimony. Now ..... IF ..... Jason didn't call her .... hoo-boy .... But then, I somehow doubt it ...

Hey.... wishing you love with the little ones ... are they with you thru T/giving?

Also, I thought back to earlier posts: indeed - your thoughts mirrored BarnGoddesses ... it's timing, hotel locations, when he had appointment at business meeting and if there was a card or key for the hotel. If he arrived Brevard ... say 2 (as Meredith called 911 at 1:30). So, if we work back we MIGHT be able to guestimate when he left VA, basis he was at ChartOne's HQ in VA...

THEN ... let's say he was there a couple hours max ....

Ugh... sorry, this is even confusing me! If LE are reading, can't they JUST post what time he had the business meeting? FBI files are on. I must watch...

BG: Danville is on the small side. There are just a hand full of hotels, none of them overly large. Most sit right on the main commercial street in town. It should be fairly for LE to check out all of them quickly. Danville is about 40 minutes from my house, you go on a two lane road to get there, there are usually state troopers on the highway late at night (my SIL got a ticket last winter coming to see my dad at Duke) on that highway! Another even smaller town in VA which is close to Raleigh would be South Boston. It has even fewer hotels but is a straight shot up hwy 15-501 accessed by highway 85. Neither of these towns strike me as large enough to have a Chart One office, does anyone know if they do? Both have very small hospitals and most doctor's offices surround the hospitals in both towns, so possibly clients for the company. I have been thinking all along that Danville might be a good possiblitiy. Good sleuthing.

awww thanks Polk...no, i just babysit for my nephew & his wife sometimes...did it all winter, last year...not lockin myself into doing that this winter, but it's fun to babysit her every now & then....she'll be 4 in March....

my nephew just left with her...he had to get on my computer to check his myspace acct...ugh, lol

yes, this scenario is a definate possibility!!!!....& IF so, what do you think about his having gasoline for the vehicle....that's a lot of miles...he'd have to stop & get gas somewhere...that SUV's gonna use some gas, even if it's a 'lil' one, imo....

i don't think Chart One would necessarily HAVE to have an office in one of these places...could have been a 'meeting' with a client/someone involved w/the company.....

or let's say that the meeting WAS further on in VA.....we don't know that in that 11 pm phone call (i have to keep reminding myself IF there was a phone call) JY didn't say "honey, i got so tired i decided to pull on over & get some sleep, here in "wherever"....."just checking in w/you"...that kinda thing.....it's 11 pm, he heads back to the house now....(2 hours tops to make the trip back to Raleigh)..that would put him there around 1 am...does he has to do....leaves & goes on straight to the area where the meeting is......

(ok, i must sound really crazzzed huh?)
