Yup - Absolutely. Reverse psychology. The gloves are off. Little tidbits the Sheriff threw out yesterday - all part of it. The family may have to apply to the Court to get the vehicle back. JMO.
Keep me in line - I am subject to tunnel vision ! :p Good points!

If he committed this crime - he might be more than irritated - he may well be wondering just what the heck they did find - proverbial sweating bullets. Surely that high powered lawyer could get it back if there is nothing present, I would think.

yes, one would think RC....they've found something in that vehicle, IMO...not a 'smoking gun', but something that's going to be used as evidence, when this goes to trial....

You're very welcome Jilly. I don't get to post with ya'll as much as I'd like to. I live very closeby this case so I get to watch the local news often. I just looked at the WRAL site again and there is still no video of Amanda's report. Hopefully it will be loaded later tonight. There was an awful lot of good footage of the funeral services, the home and Jason's vehicle. I guess I'm scarred from courttv because each time I post I feel like I MUST post a link to verify what I post even if it is my own opinion LOL.

Well we're licking the bowl here  so I'm sure I can speak for all of us in that we're looking forward to that footage. Thanks again! :)

not trying to downplay the car being kept- but if its not a smoking gun, which must not be, or they would have arrested him, I dont know how much help it would be at a trial--- kinda like snott saying---yea guys bleed-:banghead: -- when his blood was found- and vice versa if a "trace" of hers was-

No...you're right about him sweating bullets if he did this. On the otherhand if he was smart enough to do a complete change of clothes, gloves etc., I don't think he's got too much to worry about.

LOL I'm wondering if WRAL will show the entire footage again at 11pm. If they do I can DVR it again but how would I upload it to my computer? I WILL be watching at 11 and I will make sure to take note of the sunglasses under the canopy and also the tag number of Jason's vehicle. I did notice it was a special order plate with NC State's famous wolf logo on it.

Is this the same car that they had the accident in? Or was that car totaled?

LOL, Remarks that SP made about men bleed.

I think it would be unwise to arrest him if they found something in the car until all the other ducks were lined up - don't forget Michelle had access to that car, her DNA would be expected, even possibly some blood borne DNA. The DA is the ultimate decision maker in this - when the DA is happy and agrees there is enough to go to trial - the arrest is made. I seriously doubt finding DNA of the murdered wife in a car she had access to would be sufficient for any DA. JMO.

I dont know that answer, but RC probably does- they did alot of work figuring out the cars to begin with-

that remark sp made has got to be one of the stupidist thing I have ever heard--- aaaaggggghhhhhhh !!!

Sorry folks, I don't know the answer to that. All I know is a 2004 Mitsubishi SUV is registered to them and a 2000 Lexis. The wreck was in 2005 so it is possible it is the same vehicle, don't know why in 2005 if the vehicle was totalled why they would go back and buy a 2004. But I do not know.

Sorry guys, just as I was typing my first post saying hello when Amanda Lamb started the report so that's why I was typing and posting so quickly :o

Ok Amanda says that the Youngs believe the tooth to be Michelle's. There was a shot of Jason's vehicle including his license plate.

I'm sure there will be video of Amanda's report on the website soon if not already.

no, don't be sorry at all!....you do great reporting, Topsail:)

Thanks Close. I try to help out when I can. :blushing: Ya'll are so nice and polite to everyone that I feel like I can post without the risk of being bashed if I can't provide a link right away. One thing I have learned from this case is that what is shown on TV live is not always what is posted on the website. Perfect example being the footage from Amanda's report tonight. I do hope that the web site will include it.

How do you know for sure they have not returned his car? I know thay took his, Merediths and Michelles. But I do remember reading a link where it talked about the sun starting to set late in the day that Friday and I think it was Merediths car still parked in the driveway.

At CTV someone mentioned the investigators maybe have something they collected at the crime scene which they want to match. A fingerprint, I would assume. And would they need warrants for these if another LE agency was going to help get the fingerprints. I can't imagine who in Jason's family they would want to fingerprint!

I too think Jason's sister who found the tooth is JTF, or Jason himself. But if it were him don't you think he's have to use a computer LE couldn't trace. Some of the info givenh was not really helpful to Jason!

Great Job Topsail! Someone at CTV also posted if one were hit from behind with blunt force trauma, it could easily dislodge the jaw and a tooth fly out.

When Amanda reported tonight about the tooth it was an in depth story and a lot of footage of the funeral, the house and Jason's vehicle. SOME of the film shown were things I had not seen before...SOOO I'm hoping it will pop up on the website along with the story about the tooth.

you're right....it might go ALONG with other evidence..circumstantial evidence...like the pliers with Laci's hair in them....LE kept SP's boat the entire time...the jury got to 'rock the boat'....

& J2m...i had forgotten about that stupid comment by SP..LOL, what a goofy SOB

HEY, they're discussing ANS on NG :silenced:

Amanda Lamb reported tonight on WTVD the car had not been returned. I have no reason to doubt this information.

Amanda specifically said it had not been released back to Jason. The footage showed it in some type of garage or storage area. The photographer made a point of getting a shot of the license plate - don't know why but she/he did.

I do hope the entire story will be aired again tonight on our 11 news and that it is uploaded to the website. I don't want anyone to think I'm making this up. :(

Oh and Charlie - Amanda reports for WRAL :blowkiss:

i'm going to say a jaw was broken:(.....teeth can 'fly out' when that happens, if hit with something really really hard...i know this for a fact...steering wheel of a car)
...we don't know that she wasn't punched in the face (beaten)....that wouldn't necessarily bleed...a morgue could cover up any bruising...course i would think the face would certainly be very swollen....
