I'd know that emblem anywhere - all our trucks are Fords - its etched into my brain.close_enough said:same here!...i just know it's a white SUV...good goin RC!...
I'd be inclined to agree with you on that.Samiya said:statement in video "Question the integrity"

but had to come back just to add the "?"
Makes perfect sense to me that since the DA is involved, an arrest could be coming. I can't imagine DA being at the house and being updated periodically that LE does not have a #1 suspect. DA doesn't make a habit of helping LE determine who should or should not be a suspect. Actually I would think that the DA wouldn't give a rat's a** who the suspect is. I would assume (not a good thing) that they only want to be involved in making the decision if there is enough evidence to prosecute.raisincharlie said:I'd be inclined to agree with you on that.
I was interested in hearing that LE had also briefed the DA on the case today. They were very busy fellows today - in Brevard, briefing the DA...something's coming down shortly I think. Maybe wishful thinking.

I am going to jump out on a limb here (not going to surprise anyone though) and say that JY is the only person they are investigating. They are searching multiple states and he is a travelling saleman. They were in his hometown today and updating DA. Previous reports of no forced entry. Came out immediately to say that this was not a random crime.
I can tell you, it's not looking good for my boy, Jason. And I hope I am completely off the mark here.

Thanks to Topsail Girl I think I now have an answer or something resembling one. In looking at the video link Topsail Girl posted a few posts above this, the vehicle shown is a Ford Suv - not the Mitsubishi. This leads me to "believe" the Mitsubishi was sufficiently damaged to warrant replacement. This also leads me to believe the personal property records we checked into may not be updated correctly but understanable. However I can tell you from a DMV check - the plate number shown is correct and would have been tranfered from the 2004 vehicle to the one shown.
Yeah, close, I get it. Seems like they already know who the perp is *cough*. If they thought it was some stranger that did the killing, surely they would want to conduct further tests.close_enough said:thanks!!!....
ok, am i making too much of this??...this item would not have led to the identity of the perp who killed Michelle????
does anyone understand what i mean?

Strach, I so totally agree. When I first heard this, I had my own rant. It's not about the tooth, per se. It's the fact that something like that shouldn't have been overlooked when you've been in the home for 10 days!strach304 said:I know exactly what you mean. They would've had to id it in the first place to know if it belonged to Michele. We saw in the SP trial how Geragos made LE look incompetent and that is exactly what a defense lawyer in this case will do as well. Does anyone besides me find it very telling that Jason's family's first statement to media is this? Since the original from the step-father about the lawyer is what I mean. This was a violent crime scene and hair and fibers would be even smaller than a tooth.
Samiya said:Did anyone else come across this on their internet travels? I was trying to find the news report where it was said she was found on the bed. There is a great photo of the cheerleading squad with Michelle..........and yeah (to the website owner) I did notice the resemblance of Michelle to the cheerleader in Sabrina, but that's all...strangely enough it's quite an uncanny resemblance.
If ya bored while waiting for more news, have a looky.

Didn't the coroner notice a tooth was missing when the autopsy was done? Wouldn't he/she have said "go back to the bedroom and find the tooth?" Yep. I watch too much CSI.![]()
Yes, yes I know, it's just a tooth, but this kind of stuff (after 10 days!!!) leaves a lot for the killer's defense team to play with.:twocents:
Strach,strach304 said:Some food for thought; I have considered that LE doesn't have the kind of evidence that we think they might. The news of them being in Brevard and doing the fingerprints seem to point to Jason as their suspect so that tells us he hasn't been cleared and LE is keeping quiet about it to not tip off the real killer as some here have suggested.
1. They probably have unidentified prints from the house.
2. Maybe they have verified his alibi but think he had it done or has accomplices.
3. Search warrant for the clothes and luggage he took to his parents house. Especially if he hasn't been to the house to get things but essentially I think they would want to check the clothes and luggage for Michele's blood.
4. Question neighbors to see what time he arrived at his parents house.
5. Possibly the phone calls Jason made to Michele and then the one to Meredith were intentional to show his locations.

I'm assuming they know if she's missing a tooth or teeth from the coroner's report, or even a quick scan of her mouth for evidence. Hopefully everyone did their job right, and they already know who killed Michelle.
Interesting work up on the cars. I did so much research (even small town internet news sites) regarding that accident and couldn't find one thing published anywhere about the May 2005 accident.
