Packerdog - I agree with you on this one. No way is she going to run toward that baby and attract the attention of someone to the baby.

Hypothetical: for a few minutes lets entertain the thought that JY and MY were indeed having trouble marriage wise and he did leave Thursday evening a bit miffed. What if he did come back and said he was going to take the baby - good excuse for a fight. Do you think it is possible that it could have escalated to the known end result ? Perhaps in a lucid moment he realized he had to leave Cassidy or it would be instantaneously known he killed his wife. Would this not explain his call then to Meredith just to get someone over there about the baby ?

Just fumbling around here playing, I like your logic, perhaps you have some thoughts ?

Your hypothetical sounds possible. I have to wonder if he was close to his daughter. If he did kill MY and his unborn baby boy, it doesn't seem he was happy to be a father. I am sure he cared enough about Cassity not to kill her too. I agree with you about why he called Meredith, but I also think he needed someone other than him to find the body and keep his cover in being far away.

i'm sooooo glad you said this packerdog....i've been wondering the same thing, but didn't know quite how to word it....IF JY did this, i don't think he's ever really been happy about being a 'family man'....i don't think it really worried him all THAT much that Cassidy was in the house alone....again IF, IF he did this, i don't think he gives a chit about anyone but himself....

Good points Polk. I just don't think he would have left his house with blood on him, and we know there was alot of blood, they even took out dry wall. He would have gotten some in his car (could be why they still have his car though). He had plenty of clothes in his closet to change into after she was dead. Now a big clue would be if the friends saw what he was wearing when he left the house, he would have to produce those clothes to LE. If they are missing , well, why?

Oh, sure ... sorry, I should have clarified: he may have *changed* clothes but I don;t think he showered. I also assume he wore gloves, brought 2nd set clothing with him ... but placed everything in a rucksack, bag, pillow-case - whatever. I aldo feel that"

A gun shot may have woken Cassie - & the dog would have gone bananas.

Stabbing would not cause instant 'stunning' and may have caused MY to scream - ditto reponse as above.

Sneaking up when MY was at her most vulnerable (asleep, probably on her side, not facing door) may have only evoked quiet 'ugh's'.

LE has not released all details, packerdog, which is common. MY may have also been slashed elsewhere and/or stabbed/strangled to subdue cries for help. We don't know yet. But this was a specifically planned murder, designed for MY only ... and whoever did it knew there was a baby in the house.

The coincidence of JY leaving the night before is just too much, IMO. I feel rest of his family and friends are being printed only to eliminate them and to ensure LE are 'covering all bases' as they said they'd do ....

His car ... yes... interesting they keep ONLY his car and no-one elses. Very telling, IMO...

i think this is going to be as simple as .....JY coming back to the house, going in & going straight to the bedroom, beating Michelle to death...i DO think Cassidy woke up at some point...i DO think she saw her Daddy...i think he high-tailed it out of that house, took off coverall, shoes & gloves, got into his car & headed back to the VA area where he had made the 11 pm phone call....disposed of the bloody coveralls, etc....got cleaned up & headed to some kind of business 'meeting'.....

Agree witcha, close: Me, myself and I. Not: MY WIFE HA JUST BEEN MURDERED... It's: I need to be protected; I need a criminal defense team...

Why? What is he defending in this crime? And I, too don't think he gave a continental that Cassie was there... She slept through it all ... I really don't think she heard a pennt drop, lol!

yep Polk...they still have his vehicle....i'm betting there's blood evidence in that car...that's ok though...the defense will say "everyone bleeds in their own car"....OKAAAAY, but this will be ONE part of this circumstantial evidence case....his blood & maybe even Michelle's blood in his vehicle....heck, for all we know, one of Michelle's chipped teeth could have been found in it.....

It's quite possible that he didn't wear ANY clothes or shoes if he was indeed able to take his time in the house and sneak up on her while she was sleeping.

Less to clean up afterwards.

yep TM...it's possible
....then he cleans up & puts clothes on, from the closet, at the house....i just having a feeling though, that he didn't stick around at the house long, once he knew Michelle was dead....

There can be many reasons for an attack beginning downstairs and reasonable scenarios for her letting someone in or at least answering her door. For her to check who was at the door she would've turned the outside light on and looked out the glass. So it is feasible and as I stated earlier in my post on page 16, they were part of two possible scenarios I was working on out of 8 all up.

Eg; If it wasn't Jason, she may have been dragged upstairs by the perp in a failed sexual assault turned frenzied murder, his hand over her mouth while she's struggling all the the way upstairs.

I am trying to look beyond my belief that Jason is the perp and be more open minded simply because if he isn't arrested and someone else is, then a whole new ballgame begins with an entirely new ball.

you might be right Polk, but i can't get that 911 call out of my head.....

here's something i've thought about...i must assume that all the blood on Cassie had already dried up on her, by the time Meridith got there...all the little bloody footprints were probably dried....if that's the case, then it would seem that Cassie got into all this blood while it was still wet, for her to have put her prints everywhere.....i guess that's also why i tend to think Cassie was awake as SOME point during or very soon after Michelle's death, while all the blood was still wet....

Which is hard to do coz I'm pretty close minded...shut up like a book, locked in a safe......and so on and talking to one's self is the first sign of madness, lol

Or maybe he just washed off his hands in the sink and changed clothes. Maybe MY never knew what hit her. She could have been sleeping on her side or stomach and the first blow knocked her out and he kept beating her. Sounds terrible, I know. Does he go to doctors offices and clinics? He could have gotten those surgical gloves from one.

It's called KISS,...................imho, this is probably about all she wrote.

Although, I'm not sure Cassidy may have woken up and I do believe he cleaned up BEFORE he left, meaning shower and all, so that he would not get any trace evidence in the car. I think the disposal of the clothes he was wearing is somewhere between the house and the motel he'd checked into earlier.

I don't care what the friends and family say about this being the 'perfect couple.' I was just reading another thread where the husband and wife were so wonderfully happy with their two yo, the husband had a great job, they had a new house, yadda, yadda, yadda,...............turns out the husband had a gf, the wife found out and they were working it out. Unfortunately for them, the gf's SO found out about the affair, went on over and murdered the husband and wife,........NOT the child..............so much for fairy tale marriages. It's what goes on behind closed doors that matters, IMHO.

I don't believe anyone else is involved in the crime except ONE person and he's probably not the 'nice guy' everyone thinks he is.

JMHO

Which is an excellent point!!!

We might mention this on the Rigor Mortis thread, close ... because of the TOD - fresh blood etc, as you mention.

I know little ones have this (ehem, wonderful) energy to be awake at like 5 am... she may have trotted out of her room to her mommy. Maybe she was one of those toddlers that would drowsily awaken and go to mom's room on 'auto-pilot' as soon as she stirred?

Interesting thought close ! :)
