Just heard a deal on Banfield & Ford - supposedly Catherine Crier will be saying something on the Michelle Young case on her show today - Friday.

Probably about the tooth but you never know...

I can't believe on her show though she would allow someone to suggest this piece of a tooth was planted! This goes a bit beyond the pale, don't you think?

I'm wondering if CC's show and FPX news has been threatened with some legal action if they release that copy online or to the media? I could see that law office raising their giant wings on this one!

I have been thinking why this case interested me. I spent many summers in camp in NC. Black Mountain, Burnsville. Cousin has summer cottage near Waynesville, ex-inlaws in Greensboro. When Brevard and Transylvania came up, it brought back memories of my parents talking about how they met in the mid thirties. Both were counselors at summer camps. Dad at Camp Transylvania, now gone and Mom at Camp Keystone, still around. Their stories about getting together on nights off and fording streams in old cars to get to a restaurant for dinner always fascinated me. Just the two names, Brevard and Transylvania caught my attention in a hurry.

Supressing news is just one of the reasons this case isn't making any sense. In the meantime, it's all over the net anyway with forums and blogs.

That's my interpretation of 'very small' acc to the link from yesterday. I can't see a grown woman with a beautiful smile having a tooth knocked out that was smaller than the norm for a gal her age.

At CTV I read that it teeth come out due to the force of a blow on the back of the head which damages or breaks the jawbone, they are not the whole tooth, but a piece of one. Guess it's the way they break.

Now I could be3 wrong in that assessment!

Believe it or not it was a defense lawyer ! Not only that he was pretty put out that no interview has yet taken place - what is going on - pretty bad when even a defense lawyer suspects something isn't right about the silence.

YIKES, Raisin. I'm visiting over at Courttv and there is a poster that says he/she heard a local reporter tonight on CC state that she (Amanda Lamb) went up to the door of JY and MY home and saw that drywall had been removed from the area near the front door!!! What say you about this??

My wife watched CC - she said that Amanda Lamb did indicate that "possibly" pieces of dry wall were removed, most likely related to blood spatter in the bed room - but she did not recall Ms. Lamb saying it was near the front door. My wife said that this was in response to a question about known evidence collected. So I don't know what the deal is about the front door. Sorry

I heard on CC that the front door and/or surrounding area was glass and that was why the reporter was able to see inside the home and notice all the areas with print dust on them.

Many times they will take a section of drywall if it is saturated with blood spatter or if they are palms prints in that area. Also I have read in other cases where a part of wall was taken as whatever object was used struck the wall in a wild blow and made an impression of the weapon when it either glanced off leaving distinct markings or became embedded into the wall.

So the possibilities are many.

Being way over here in Aussieland, we don't get those shows (although I wish we did so I could keep up **pant pant from running, lol**). It sounds like a colonial entranceway which I'm very familiar with as I have two in my house...front and back.

I was referring to wall, or rather the side wall direct to the right on entering. I often put my hands on that side when I come in (and totally make my poor suffering hubby mad as he not long ago finished painting the inside of our home in Terracotta) I hope someone can clear up whether the dry wall was taken from entranceway or bedroom....hope they get a video up on her site too.
