Just wanted to add - When reading over at CTV today, I think it was RPD who said it was odd that JY was scheduled to stay at his parents on the Saturday nite. That was the BIG Homecoming Game and JY was apparently a "HUGE Wolfpack fan".

If he was that big of a fan, you'd think he would have planned to high-tail it back to Raleigh after the meeting.

Yep, jilly, that was a rather large, gaping hole in JY's logic, interests and demeanour ... here's a wolfpack fanatic ... staying AWAY? Yes, I'd also thought he'd high tail it right back.

He was too :chicken: to go back and face his music, IMO...

Hello jilly-girl... :)

Nice to chat to someone in here, lol. Gloria Allred! Lol ... hehehehe. Y'know you're prolly right that she'll -----> :silenced:

What do you think about MY doing the purse search and JY stealing MY's idea as HIS?

Annie Dear:) About the purse - I don't know. Since it was supposed to be a 'Coach' - those things are pretty expensive. So I don't know that MY would be organizing that for anyone else. On the otherhand, like I've said before I can't see a husband buying his wife an expensive 'Coach' when he's having an affair either.

I know it's been mentioned before but I just find this so bizarre with SP & Louis Vuitton and now JY with Coach.

Sure, I do get your point re expense, etc ... but I just can't help thinking if a guy is having an affair, he'd keep purchases, gifts, etc a huge secret and would probably buy these things with cash (so nothing reflects on c/card statments, etc). If he was buying it for MY - then it's illogical that he has the item and details on paper in their house. Also - there was no great rush for this so-called 'gift'. Their anniversary had gone and Xmas was 6 or 7 weeks away. It's just not gelling.

Whatever - at the end of the day there was NO other reason for the call to Meredith other than to get to Cassidy and discover the body, IMO. The Coash purse thing was camoflage - but he chose the wrong reason because too many questions have arisen. Too many people are suspicious...

We'll see how this plays out, lol... (or prints out as the case may be ...) :D

You're right - this whole purse thing is nonsense. Any idea what this print out would be? I don't usually shop on line.

Phew jilly, that's the 64 000 $ question. INSIDERS ... told us it was for a purse; this was said numerous times that it appears true. What IS true and/or what Meredith was told might just be 2 different things. My wild guess is that it may be a printout including a pic, style, design number, etc. Just don't know for sure.

Well, you may think we're complete nerds ... but hubby and I don't complete purchases online (we browse and book, of course). Our c/card information is NOT online anywhere, for anything - not even written in emails or filed in word under personal docs. We pay off line the manual way.

Couple reasons: if puter crashes it's one heckuva job to find, sort, re-file info and ... there are puter hackers out there that have 24X7 "hunting" lines and although highly unlikely, it's like Russian Roulette - one day yah just never know... and c/card fraud on Net is rampant. If hubby's work did not also include this aspect in finance, we'd prolly have been purchasing for years. We simply made a joint pact never to do this ...

Gosh, jilly, we posted all this here few hours back and I just went over to ctv to see latest news (or..?) and RPD is already there (posting on yesterday's thread) and JUST posted something about "Jason using MM for the bull of this fax story..."

So - maybe this PURSE STUFF is contrived after all??? If it is, well I think it was such a LAME excuse.

Quite strange, indeed.... hmmm ... I'm going to backtrack on that thread - see wassup...

Polk :)

hehehe I emailed that WFTV about that headline and told them they needed to employ new proofreaders and that Mr Young has not been charged with an offence in relation to the murder.

The email I got back said a few things about 'not saying that Mr Young was arrested', supposedly to put me straight lol, and that "we have changed the headline accordingly"

Should've got it right the first time guys, lmao

  • #608
Well done you! Doesn't matter if someone is arrested or not - it's the STATEMENT... Glad they changed the headline. That was a faux pas alrighty...

Guess I should add this before they realize their mistake and change it:

"Warrant: Man Who Killed Pregnant Wife Had Relationship With Ocoee Woman

POSTED: 12:11 pm EST December 8, 2006

RALEIGH, N.C. -- A North Carolina man whose pregnant wife was found beaten to death in her home last month was in a relationship with another woman in Florida in the months before his wife's death, according to newly released search warrants."

Hey close! Yep, that was a bit of a blooops!

I'd like to know if you guys have figured out if JY drove to his house or if parked nearby; took a (spare) m/weapon with him - or used one from his own garage/house ... whose car was allegedly seen in the drive way;... what deliveries may have been going on and at *whatever* time - of course if that sighting is fact after all.

I mean - did this guy even stay in a hotel? What if he drove back - committed the murder - then left again in the early hours? What if he stayed at his own house - or in his car? Was the 11 pm call really true?

Geeez... questions, questions, questions ... :banghead:

I've no problem believing he did it, though

I would love to know what LE have discovered ....

i think that no matter what this printed fax stuff is all about, it was strictly used to get Meredith over to find the body....i don't think it had a thing to do with MM at all....Michelle may have mentioned that she wanted a purse or whatever for xmas, which led to some kind of fax...JY used this for purposes other than a 'surprise' gift for Michelle....he knew he wasn't going to be buying anything for her for xmas anyway...she wasn't going to be around at xmas time....it could very well have been something that Michelle herself had faxed to her place of employment on Thursday, then sent to the home computer.....either way, it was used to get Meredith to the house on Friday....imo

gosh, i'm not sure Polk....i tend to think he left, & went SOMEWHERE just over the VA line when he made an 11 pm phone call (if the call thing is fact)....he knew by that time the friend was gone & Michelle would be either getting ready for bed, or would be asleep.....he went back to the house & killed her...i'm still sticking with the 1 to 3 am timeframe though, until i hear otherwise...not sure if he'd be stupid enough to actually park in the driveway, but it's possible....if he got to the house betw 1-3 am, he killed her & did whatever else he thought he needed to do, which COULD still put him in the house around 4 am'ish, soooooooo i'm thinking someone saw his vehicle SOMEWHERE in that neighborhood maybe around 4-5?????....i just believe he high-tailed it out of that neighborhood way before sunlight.....IF he was still in the neighborhood betw 4-5 am, it might have been a newspaper delivery, possibly...i know they DO deliver the paper here extremely early...around 4:30 am.....

  • #615
another thing...i'm going to say that the 11 pm phone call was on the up & up, ONLY because i think he wanted to use that to show he WAS actually out on the road when he made the call (part of his alibi)....there again, i may be giving him too much 'planning credit'.....?

OK ... close... and so you gave me a NEW thought about his car being seen... I agree he must have parked elsewhere, cos if MY heard him/saw lights ... dog squeaked recognising him ... his plan would be blown.

So ... apparently someone saw his car in the d/way.

Well ... is it possible he did the deed, trudged back to his car - THEN drove it around the front to either clean-up, collect/change clothes ... and drive out again? Knowing it would then be OK to drive into his house and believing no one would see him?

Just a new line of thought...

I think these are excellent deductions Close. FWIW - I think he parked right in the driveway - no one would think anything of it that night and if questioned later - if they knew he was supposedly on a business trip they would just think they saw it some other night as obviously the neighborhod thought they were such a nice couple with no problems. JMO

I agree about the 11 pm call - made from a cell phone it would show up in VA if he was just across the line. VA is the closest out of state location that would allow this immediate turn around to get back. What I think will be interesting is the messages left on the answering machine - I have an idea he did not speak with MY at 11 pm however, there may be one of those sickly messages on the machine (I'm thinking she took a shower after the friend left, thus missing the call - he would know her habits). Ok, I've been snoopin' again, gotta go to work so just have a minute to post the few little tidbits I found. I don't know if these have already been posted, but..............

The friend of a friend on 'the other board' has now said:

They don't know if MM told LE of her affair with JY before they went to her Florida home. She did speak to LE on the day of the funeral though. Her husband and the sorority sisters didn't find out about the affair until LE went to her home.

MY had planned on attending the spas trip with the sorority sisters that weekend. :(

JY had season tickets to the football game. They believe he'd probably planned on staying Friday night at his parents and get home in time for the tail gating and game on Saturday.

They still stand by the MF story. They don't know why it's not been mentioned other than the fact it probably has nothing to do with this case. They claim they got this information from one of MF's friends. :silenced:

Here's a picture of MM........http://www1.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=914092

MM was a teacher but is now a stay-at-home mom with a two yo. :slap:

Like I said, this is from a friend of a friend(still?) so take it FWIW. :twocents:

Have a great sleuthing day!
