Morning Close

Hope this day finds you well. I've been studying again and now I am wondering. JY's SUV is an Explorer which is not the large Ford Suv model by any means, sort of mid sized. I'm studying on how practical it would be to cram five people (JY, Mom, Dad, Sis, and Brother in law) into this vehicle with all of their luggage, packed for an unknown number of days, and drive back together in this vehicle to Raleigh.

For some reason I see two people and the luggage in the SUV and the others in another vehicle. We can deduce all of the luggage was in the SUV based on Step Dad's reaction to it being confiscated (to inculde medications). With this in mind, I'm thinking there is a strong potential that JYs luggage would not have been removed from that vehicle prior to this return trip (hope so). I seem to recall, but can't confirm through the links we have, that the BIL was driving the SUV. The only reason I'm studying this is because a poster at CTV, supposedly an insider, has indicated that there is video surveilance from the hotel were JY supposedly stay - this means to me at least - something was found very quickly to track him to a specific hotel the night of the murder in order to have a surveilance video. Or the poster is blowing smoke.

Any thoughts ?

ETA - according to warrants 2 cell phones belonging to JY were confiscated from the SUV.

What if Michelle checked his cell phone that records "dialed numbers" and "received numbers" and saw that the same number appeared over and over again. I believe that would be the final straw. Perhaps, she told her friend who came over that night that she suspected that Jason was having an affair with the MM. Maybe, this is what originally clued police to talk to MM.

If Jason called that night, perhaps, he called to ask Michelle if she was sure that she was going to go through with this (meaning divorce). Maybe, Michelle then said that she checked his cell phone and she knew that he was having an affair with MM and would use that information in the divorce. This would have angered Jason enough for him to return to the home to "discuss" it. Perhaps, the discussion got heated and he killed Michelle in a rage.

If the baby said "daddy beeding" on the 911 call, it could have been because the baby saw Daddy covered in blood. Naturally, she would think that he was "beeding." The baby is 2 1/2, isn't she? That is old enough for a baby to communicate what she saw.

I agree, at that age she would be able to communicate this observation along with "boo boos", both beeding and boo boos are hearable on the 911 tape.

ETA - of you tape listeners - did anyone hear anything that might have been the dog in the background ? Samiya - dog or no dog - do you know ?

Maybe LE went through the the last #'s on the home phone with caller id. Mine lists all the incoming calls. They would be able to track down the hotel, if he called from the hotel at 11:00.

I've wondered about that as well - but JY would have had to use a phone in his room or one belonging specifically to the hotel in order for it to call back. If this is the case it would be IMO very telling - the guy had two cell phones.

Typically with cell phones they cover a certain area under which no long distance charges would be incurred (roaming fees). If he called from the hotel - why would he incur the charges associated with that - unless of course he is trying to establish his whereabouts ? We know from the search warrants there were messages on the residence landline. We also know from the warrants - Michelle's cell was in her purse, apparently undisturbed, in the kitchen.

I think it is possible he called from a hotel phone and LE could have well did a call back under warrant. Seems to me however this in truth would be a big mistake by JY - not that I mind the mistake - but it could somehow go to state of mind as there isn't much reason to pay the expense of a hotal based call when one is packing around two cells. I think he would call from his hotel room to try to establish his whereabouts. Would he think that LE would just look at the calls and think yup, he was out of town alright? I think LE knew right away which hotel he stayed at because they put out the timeline from midnight to 6:00am. They knew how long it would take him to head back to the house. Why even drive to a hotel and check in if he wasn't going to use it as an alibi?

I agree that the only reason for Jason to use a hotel phone would be to establish his whereabouts at a certain time. Is it a rumor that the hotel was only 30 minutes from their home? This in itself would be a big, red flag to me and would bear a lot of explaining.

It seems to me that any explanation would cause raised eyebrows. I mean, it is awfully coincidental, if Jason and Michelle had a fight or were separating, that she ends up dead the same night. What would be an innocent reason for Jason to leave just to stay at a hotel so close to home?

Even if the hotel were two hours from the house and he made the call at 11 p.m., he had time to drive home, commit the crime, clean up and then drive to his meeting the next morning. Remember, Scott Peterson was up all night after the murder of his wife, Laci.

LE was also very firm and quick in saying it was not a random crime - something definitely told them this and it wasn't the manner in which MY was murdered IMO.

The deal about the hotel 30 minutes away - is speculation, as is the 11 pm phone call for that matter, by a supposed insider and was posted to another venue. However, if there is any truth in this - huge red flag from the very git go. He would not be able to explain a hotel 30 minutes away as being he went there because she threw him out. In the interview with Rhett Fussell - Fussell reports that JY told him at the funeral that he left Thursday night to get a "head start" on a business trip in VA. So JY himself has told friends he was headed to VA - not to a hotel 30 minutes from home.

This of course doesn't mean he wasn't at a hotel 30 minutes away - only that he is obviously telling different tales. JMO

The rumored destination was Roanoke. Not sure if his hotel was in Roanoke, but rumored to be in VA.

Going to get interesting isn't it ?

Since you are super sleuth check out Ashlie Kennedy Woodlief versus ECU girl's posts. I think they are one and the same - have mentioned this this am at CTV. Don't know if it means anything but ECU girl was pretty adament about JY's involvement very very early on. JMO

I don't think ECUgirl actually knew Michelle. I think she was more a friend/acquaintance of Meredith.

In one of her posts she admits to knowing Michelle but not realizing she was Merediths sister until two days after the funeral. Ashlie did attend ECU and she was at Buchanan's wedding. It doesn't matter I suppose, but I found those posts some of the most believable actually.

Thanks for reminding me. I had forgotten that part of what she posted.

Okay, you got me wondering, so I did a little searching and found a cache of the post where she writes about knowing Michelle:

Does anybody know anything about her father or her relationship with him? [/B]

relationship was patched up with father with in the last few years (from my understanding). her mom & dad are not together.

i only know of michelle and had only met her professionally. its a small world, becasue i never realized the michelle i "knew" was meredith's sister until 2 days after the murder.

i'm sorry that i ever brought up something was stolen. it was not fair, because as much as i would love to elaborate & tell all that i've heard, i can't for the sake of the family.

i will say that i do NOT know of (or heard of) any concrete evidence that has been discovered that points to a specific suspect. i think he's guilty because there is way too many coincidences.
