Hi Jilly ;}

I did read over at CTV that RPD stated he got bad info from his source re: Meredith. He is now saying they looked at it and decided there was no criminal intent on her part.

That is good. She might have some growing up to do from what we have learned about her, but would certainly hope she won't be branded for something for which she was not guilty.

Any news articles today? :D :D  Scandi

Oh, I've just got to get that book Ocean. I don't have any of her books and watch her on TV quite often. My grandgirlie has taken a real interest in cooking, so if it isn't Rachael Ray it is Paula. Didn't she get a little hummer for a hubby? They make an adorable duo.

Hi Scandi!:) Thank you for letting me know. Wow - I hope s/he (RPD) feels stupid for putting out that rumor. I mean s/he said 9 counts would be laid that day and then the truth is that there was no criminal intent??? To just pass it off as saying bad info from a source doesn't cut it for me!

Actually RPD made a thread on CTV entitled 'Meredith Fisher Arrested.' :behindbar
RPD stated MF was already arrested and charged, and we would be hearing about it in the media later on that day.
So, that's a REAL bad source.
imo

PS.
RPD posted at the other place that he is a male with a wife.
Now you can just refer to RPD as he, not s/he. :D

LOL Yea, I agree girls, but I think RPD has been pretty much on with his inside info, but for sure, we shall see when it plays out. I personally think he is married to one of the sorority sisters, and she hears a lot of stuff - you know how the line of chatter goes on between girls! :D Fast and prolific. YaYa

He admitted his error and I accept that. It wasn't like he accused her of this and she was found not criminally chargable. No, it's just what his source - a sorority gal, told him. He told us earlier that was his source.

I have got to admit that I go over to ctv to see how long it will take to get shut down. I have no doubt that RPD is a true insider. Matter of fact, we probably know some of the same people. What seems absolutely ridiculous to me is that it seems that he/she is working the phones trying to find the most current information available to post. The forum at Ctv should be renamed, "ask rpd a question". I suspect that this person is either a sorority sister or married to one. People this close to the case, myself included, have very strong personal feelings involved. Often times when you are so personally involved, rumors seem to become truth very quickly. I think it is very irresponsible to post this type of information and I would suggest to all that post or lurk at ctv to be very cautious and take it for what it is worth.

I agree he/she is probably right more than wrong. The problem I have with this is he/she is posting speculation as fact. He/she is swaying opinions on the board with little regard for the truth. I would suggest that RPD give the info some time to either validate or not post at all.

No intentions of offending anyone, Rpd included, just wish he/she could be a little more responsible with the info provided. I think everyone at ws and ctv is sincerely interested in finding justice for my. This type of posting seems to be counterproductive.

JMO..............

Again, thank you to those of you who bring info over from CTV. If I had the time I would be right over there with you.

WS really is a cut above the rest, isn't it? Nice job admin and mods.

If the cheques were to be made out to Michelle Young Memorial then it would've been a trust fund through a bank as no-one would be able to cash cheques made out to that fund otherwise and cheques to a trust fund are not 'cashed' they are deposited. A trust fund is "Money held in trust", unlike a savings account where withdrawls and deposits are made day to day. There's no mention of "please make cheques payable to Meredith Fisher" anywhere.

If it were true, they would've arrested her regardless of her being a witness in a murder case because they can still call her up from jail to testify. Embezzlement is not a 'slap on the wrist' kind of crime and if Donnie Harrison was disgusted by the circumstances surrouding Michelle's death, imagine what he would be like (and what his actions would be) if he found out that the murder victims own sister was stealing money from the trust fund donations which are meant for the future of her neice.

I don't think Donnie or any other LEO would let her off that lightly. She would have been arrested and she would've gotten more than a slap on the wrist. Stealing and misappropriation of funds is an offence. And they certainly wouldn't hold off on the charges for any reason at all.

JMO IMO MOO and all that jazz :)

Hmmm...that is a good thought..I wondered if he kept up with criminal cases. That case wasnt all that publicized in the general media though but maybe he watched trials on CTV.

I dont know about how Michelle was found but I just felt it was something awful done to her body that we haven't heard about.

I sure wish we would hear something from LE.

Merry Christmas!

Ocean
Ocean,

Given the timing - it may have been hard to not hear about this case - Myron Britt who is alledged to have gone to his SILs house in the middle of the night, shot his wife and returned home. The SIL was disabled and was helpless to do anything.

Intriguing anyway - note there is also a connection to Roger Smith here- in the news quite a bit. Hmmmm - possible.

Merry Christmas to you as well !

Ohhh. So are you suggesting that this so-called embezzlement rumor is related to this memorial fund?

I do not approve of the comments made by RPD over at
court tv. He may indeed be an insider, but he is irresponsible in his
comments about this victim, Meredith Fisher. IMO.

Hey Bee Charmer,

This goes to show that, insider or not, it is not a good thing to post something as fact which is in truth not fact. The good news - CW pulled the entire thread from view.

I don't know what RPD's intentions were in posting that rumor about Meredith, but it the whole thing is causing me to think that the Young family isn't much different from the Peterson family. Making accusations against Meredith and trying to get LE to prosecute brings back memories of Jackie trying to get Sharon and the Rocha family arrested for taking Laci's things from the house. Really despicable, IMO.

Yep Scout, I do believe there was an agenda there. I hope
the Youngs aren't like the peterson bunch, if they are when and if this
comes to trial, there will be nothing but pain ahead for the Fisher family. IMO.

Hi J2mirish, That is hard for me to understand too. The only thing I can think of is if Jason's friend told the truth at CTV and he took his luggage with him when he left that night, it appears they were on the outs enough to where she had either asked or told him to leave. If he didn't really want this because he was comfortable with his situation and he called her and she flipped out at him on the phone, threatening to get a restraining order, or said anything that would further jeopardize his lifestyle, that could have caused his blood to boil and he reacted on his emotions.

Scandi
I think he did it, either alone or with the mistress/friend. But, I don't understand why the luggage would have been a red flag to indicate that they were breaking up? If he was going out on an overnight business trip or at least pretending to, wouldn't he have naturally taken luggage with him? Even if it was just a duffel bag and a garment bag or something, it seems like given his alibi he would have been walking out the door with some type of luggage. :twocents:
