No, I guess you don't get it. I wish I hadn't.

no I actually responded to the wrong post. I saw where it was said he had a BBQ on the 24th. Isn't that the same day he took $400 out of her bank account?

Neighbor just said that the WIFE told he and his wife they were painting inside of the house. Okay, that makes me wonder if she was also involved.
I've believed all weekend that she knows a lot more than just finding a note Friday morning and taking it to LE. Someone who looks like Maria bought a bus ticket, someone must have helped CL get Maria's car to the bus station, painting the house and garage (like who does that right around Christmas?), and so many other things that just make it look like she had to know what was going on. Besides, Maria was (most probably) carrying her husband's baby, and that in itself couldn't have set right with her, imo.

EEEEeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ! Don't even go there, Maria.

OMG no !

I didn't think a person could actually do that to another person until the recent case here in TX. She was a beautiful woman, killed by her boyfriend, who then ate parts of her.. There have been several cases of cannibalism lately, enough so that Fox had Michael Baden on talking about it this week.
Otherwise, it certainly never would have entered my mind.

Yes it was reported to be on Christmas Eve that the $400. was withdrawn from an ATM at WalMart.

OMG! Am I the only one wondering what he served them at the BBQ?
Please, no!!
The BBQ was reported to have been closer to the house than where Maria was found. But still, what a thought.

OK, playing devil's advocate a bit here.
I've read the posts from today from people who believe that Christina may have been the mastermind of the murder, may have been the murderer.

IF she actually thought that her husband raped Maria, then why on earth would she stick with her husband? Any chance that's he's also been gruesomely murdered by now too?
After all, Christina is the one who handed LE the note, supposedly from him.
If she's able to kill or help kill Maria in some kind of rage, shouldn't there be rage at her husband for putting that innocent little baby boy in Maria in the first place??

I bet all the guests are wondering, too!

Reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode where the woman murders her husband and when the LE come to investigate, she serves them dinner....... a "roast" from the oven!

Jana- I read about that! Shoot- I can barely eat smoked salmon without gagging, and even tho I can read about all these murders without getting sick, my mind just can't go there!

I'm sorry I made you mad. There have been several incidents of canibalism in this country recently, as I stated above. Michael Baden was asked his opnion about it on Fox just this week. There's no way I would have come up with something that horrible otherwise. The case of cannibalism here in Texas has been all over our news for weeks. It's truly shocking.

That woman was played by Barbara Bel Geddes, who played the long-suffering matriarch " Miss Ellie" Ewing on Dallas many years later.
The dinner was a previously frozen leg of lamb. It's one of my favorite " Twilight Zone" episodes.

The next door neighbor interviewed on Greta said that his wife saw Laurean in front of his house at 6:30 am on Friday getting ready to leave. So, didn't the wife say he left at 4:00 am? Wonder why the lie there?

Didn't she kill her husband with the frozen leg of lamb?

I missed the shows =( Cable box blew up and the kidlets are watching a backyardigan special on the other one....

Did I read correctly they've given the wife immunity? Well, if she's totally innocent..what does she need immunity from?!?! :waitasec:

She gets immunity so they can go off into the sunset together....IF that's the case...she's JUST as sick...if NOT more so than the 🤬🤬🤬. To even have knowledge of something like this, and then to help cover it up, and help him get away...(Even if she just delayed going to the authorities to give him a head start, IMO that still helping him cover it up or at least attempting to)

If I misread, I'm terribly sorry and disregard this post!

I agree she'd be capable of doing him in too. There is a problem with the theory though. The neighbor just said (on Greta's show) that he saw both of them at 6:30am on Friday. That doesn't make sense though since Christina said he'd left at 4am and she went to LE at 8am ~ so CL only had an 1-1/2 hr. head start on LE?

LOL, I've only seen it on Sci-Fi when hubby has it on, but I'm getting close to the age for AARP to start sending spam. Oh well, better than the alternative, as my mother says.

I'm really trying to figure that out too. That doesn't give him much of a head start before she went to LE, at what, 8am?

Oh no ~ YOU didn't make me mad!! :blowkiss: I put the "mad" icon there just thinking about these people who murdered Maria and her baby and then have a BBQ party in the same yard where they're burning her.

Yep, hit him in the head with it while he was berating her and I think he had thrown her around.. . He was an abusive husband and she was pregnant. The lamb was frozen solid as a tree trunk at the time she swung it. The reason she wasn't convicted was because the investigators could not find the murder weapon- they were eating it.
