I'm watching Nancy now since I missed her show earlier. Apparently now the Mexican authorities are on the lookout for Laurean and they also have wanted posters down there for him. I wonder if the reward applies too? That would be a lot of money for people down there and he'd be turned in really quick.

PS.......Dr. Baden said it's not exactly clear that she actually died from blunt force trauma. He said there's other ways it could have been indicated as a wound.......fran

Thanks JDB and I'm sorry I missed your earlier post, but yes, this is a good possibility. The other thing was her personal items missing from her apartment and the note left behind. I wonder if he was there and made her write it? It sure seems the trail was supposed to lead to her running away to El Paso and have that be the end of the investigation.

Isn't that the saddest part, that when he is caught and goes to trial, it'll all be about blaming Maria as if she deserved to be bludgeoned to death along with her unborn baby.

Eyewitness testimony is often unreliable. Xtina would have had Maria's ID and even access to her clothes - and how long after the ticket was bought did the clerk make the ID of Maria?? And wasn't Maria's face all over the area? I am sure the clerk believes it was Maria.

I still want to know WHEN the ticket was bought (date and time) and IF Maria was even still alive when the ticket was purchased. I also want to know if the clerk saw ANYONE in the station with Maria or someone just hanging back while she was buying the ticket. If was forcing her, what was he holding over her to force her to do as he asked at a distance? Was he standing next to her with a gun? If not, what kept her from telling the clerk to call the cops - she WAS afraid of and being forced to buy a ticket.

And I want to know if the clerk saw her car, the one she supposedly made a big deal about asking about - like would it be safe parked at the station while she was gone?

The whole ticket buying story is just NOT making sense in ANY WAY. We are missing some vital information. I do not buy ANY of the Maria bought the ticket scenarios.

Tonight on Greta's show, Capt. Sutherland from the Sheriff's office would not verify that fact.

What do you think is his reason????

My Opinion

I'm with you FlowerChild! Eyewitness ID is often unreliable and nothing about Maria buying the ticket makes sense. I really think someone else could have on Maria's uniform (the camos with her last name on it) and have her ID and no one would ask questions. Asking about parking the car seems like something done on purpose to draw attention to her car being there, so it would be found by LE and now towed away. I keep remembering too what her roommate said about her being home and bed rest and not going out much, so why plan a trip on a bus? I think there's a lot we don't yet know!

Either it can't be confirmed CL sent them or LE doesn't want to talk about it with the media since they're still trying to find him? Just my guess!

I think Sutherland got put on because Ed Brown was giving too much info, giving his POV, expressing his feelings.... and showing his emotions.

Sutherland had a stone face and admitted to not telling Greta everything he knew, if he knew.

I think a lot of info was being giving out at first and then they had to retract and say it was rumors or wasn't proved (proven?)
