They believe they have recovered the weapon and are testing it. I just heard a report on Fox News that their sources said a witness came forward with a crowbar and thought it might be an important piece of evidence. (Sounds to me like it could be a neighbor)

If I thought I had gotten another girl pregnant (when I was married) and she came and told me it wasn't mine -- I would be relieved. I wouldn't kill her.

Unless you were an angry marine who had been under investagation.Yes he was denying any rape or sex took place.Rumors were flying that her baby was his for months now.Had to have been.

I too believe the baby will turn out to be his though.

Did I hear 🤬🤬🤬 lawyer on the phone with Greata last night?I turned it over there late and I thought it was him saying something along the lines that he has already filed for a change of venue when this comes to trial.

Hate when I only catch part of something :bang:

The timelines for Maria, show that her last day seen was Dec 14.

Withdrawal of $400.00 made on Dec 14th.

Bus ticket purchased on Dec 15th AFTER she had CASH.

For the authorities to know that she purchased a bus ticket she had to have used her credit card.

WHY didn't she use some of her cash, and why and where was she the night of Dec. 15th. DID 🤬🤬🤬 take her to the motel with promise to divorce and marry??

IF IF she used cash to purchase the bus ticket HOW would OR DID LE know that? You don't give your name when you buy a bus ticket????

Also about the DNA, Dr Baden said that DNA can be obtained from the burned remains. Betcha they know already whether 🤬🤬🤬 was actually the father.

Little Deers timeline shows $400.00 withdrawn on Dec 24. Not so compared to Military timeline here

Quote below:

At this point, we’ll discuss a few things that occurred December 14th that the command did not know until sometime later. For example, when Sgt Durham arrives home from work, he finds a note left for him by LCpl Lauterbach stating, “I could not take this Marine Corps life anymore. So I am going away. Sorry for the inconvenience. Maria.” Sgt Durham notices that some of her personal items are missing. She does not leave the house key behind. Sgt Durham calls LCpl Lauterbach’s sister concerning the note. Shortly after this conversation, LCpl Lauterbach’s Mother calls Sgt Durham. Sgt Durham text messages a junior member of LCpl Lauterbach’s work section indicating his belief she was going into an Unauthorized Absence status, commonly referred to as “going UA.” There is an ATM withdrawal of $700 from LCpl Lauterbach’s account. Transaction occurs in Jacksonville. Video surveillance confirms LCpl Lauterbach makes the withdrawal. The ATM information is not provided to the command until January 9th. Please remember LCpl Lauterbach was at work on Friday, was not required to attend the Christmas party, and therefore was not required to be at work until Monday morning.

On Saturday, December 15th, Greyhound bus records reflect a ticket is purchased in LCpl Lauterbach’s name for one way to El Paso, Texas
.

???

.

There was a separate money withdrawal from Maria's bank account on Dec. 24 for $400. Video shows that withdrawal was made by a man with a rag over his face.

I thought it was said on either Nancy or Greta last night that there Maria was photo IDed as having been at the bus station alone?

You are welcome. It was Fox News, btw.

A crowbar would sound reasonable as a weapon used in BFT. Did he borrow it from the same person he got the shovel from? It would make sense if this friend was such a buddy that he borrowed tools from now and then.

Ok, IF a crowbar was used, that to me would indicate it was premeditated, unless she was actually killed in the garage. Not many people have crowbars laying around in their house, and for it to be "in the heat of the moment", he would have had to grabbed something right there. To go on the search for something would be premeditated....

If I remember correctly, a couple of days later, he was seen tearing the wood off his fence in the backyard. This could have already been something he had planned to do because of rotting wood, his little girl, and the little dog. He may have borrowed a crowbar to enable him to pry the fencing. It could mean he already had it in his garage or his house. (So when did he return it...if it was borrowed?)

Also, anybody else think it odd that she bought a one way ticket and then asked if she could leave her car at the bus station? She just decided she no longer wanted her vehicle. I guess it would be easier to get around with a baby without a car in a strange place. (Whatever) It would seem to make more sense to leave it at the place she was renting. Also leaving her car at the bus station seem a little to "unsolved mysteries" for me. Like, too set up.

I'll pay you five dollars to go to the bus station and strike up a casual conversation with the employee. Like, I'm considering buy a one way ticket to somewhere, what do i need in order to do it? I live here and this current case is all over the news. Blah blah blah people do like to talk if approached correctly. Gee, I wish I was there, I'd already ran there

Of course, a bus attendant is going to have to play CYA if they sold the ticket without checking the proper ID of Maria's. I would expect that person to say it MUST be her. Does that guarantee it was? No.

Aha! You can purchase a bus ticket online or over the phone and be given a password to present to the attendant instead of an ID.

Prepaid Ticket Order (PTO) options are available at major locations nationwide. PTO allows you to send a same-day ticket to a person in another city. This ticket is transferred from one bus station to the other, under the following criteria:

Appropriate ID or a password is required to pick up the ticket

Also, LE said that the bus ticket was only good up to six months.

According to Greyhound's website, this isn't true.

Refunds & Exchanges

I haven't used my ticket. Can I get a refund?
All unrestricted one-way and round trip tickets are good for travel and/or refund for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Tickets held after this time period will be considered null and void and will retain no value for travel and/or refund. Certain advance purchase and/or other reduced fare tickets may carry a time limit or refund period less than the amount noted above.

after watching Greta last night, it struck me that he might have used one of those block bricks that was outside in the back yard.....one that might havve been in the circle around the fire pit....if he borrowed a crowbar from a neighbor, that would seem odd....have her in the house, then go run & borrow a crowbar???.....if she was murdered in the garage, i could see using a crowbar....easy to get your hands on at the time......

i would think he'd take the murder weapon with him, & dispose of it somewhere betw Jacksonville & Morrisville.....i'll be surprised if he left the weapon at his home....

2 and a half to 3 hours

The buzz in Jacksonville is that everybody wants the wife charged. Mostly people are saying they think that 🤬🤬🤬 and Maria had an affair. The popular theory about the murder is that 🤬🤬🤬 and his wife intended to take Maria's baby and kill her and something went wrong. There are rumors that 🤬🤬🤬 was telling people that his wife was pregnant.

 ....

He absolutely would NOT go borrow it while she was there! However, like I said...it would be a tool normally used to tear down the fence like he did.

i hadn't thought about Cesar tricking Maria into buying a bus ticket for El Paso, but i think it's sure possible......he COULD have told her to go purchase it & he'd meet her there in TX......but the note she left would really be strange then, if this is the case....UNLESS she felt she had to leave some kind of explanation for the roommate, Durham.....what would it matter why she went UA anyway?...she was leaving, knowing it was UA...

Jacksonville — A day before he was named a suspect in the death of the pregnant Marine he was accused of raping, Cpl. Cesar Armando Laurean told his wife he buried the pregnant Marine's body out of fear, according to a search warrant affidavit returned Thursday.

That conversation took place on Jan. 10 while Christina Laurean and her husband were driving to meet their Jacksonville attorney, the affidavit, detailing investigators' Jan. 11 conversation with Christina Laurean, says.

Cesar Laurean also told her that Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach showed up at his home on Dec. 15 to tell him she was leaving Jacksonville and demanded money from Laurean. The two then went to a bus station where he helped her buy a ticket to El Paso, Texas, Christina Laurean told investigators.

I was just thinking maybe they had plans to leave together, or at least give her the impression they were leaving together, and then went back to the house for some reason where an arguement began...??

The article also goes on to say she returned to the Laurean home where she produced a knife and killed herself. So, she was at the house in the day and then again at night, where was christina ALL day?
