yes, it would make sense to me....we'd heard that Durham found the note on the 14th, however it sounds like he would have found the note on the 15th now.....

The article also goes on to say she returned to the Laurean home where she produced a knife and killed herself. So, she was at the house in the day and then again at night, where was christina ALL day?

i could be mistaken, but i think i read somewhere that she was at work that day....

i am talking about the letter that christina turned in to the authorities....

OOOOOH....yes, it would appear that Christina knew about it on the 10th then...she claimed that he left the letter on the morning of the 11th, before he fled.......

i GUESS that she talked Cesar into seeing an attorney, which can be verified if they really met with one on the 10th.....hmmmmmm, you think the attorney told him to turn himself in, & he was going to do so on the 11th, but decided to run????....seems an atty would have him turn himself in immediately, like on the 10th:confused:

Jacksonville — A day before he was named a suspect in the death of the pregnant Marine he was accused of raping, Cpl. Cesar Armando Laurean told his wife he buried the pregnant Marine's body out of fear, according to a search warrant affidavit returned Thursday.

That conversation took place on Jan. 10 while Christina Laurean and her husband were driving to meet their Jacksonville attorney, the affidavit, detailing investigators' Jan. 11 conversation with Christina Laurean, says.

Cesar Laurean also told her that Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach showed up at his home on Dec. 15 to tell him she was leaving Jacksonville and demanded money from Laurean. The two then went to a bus station where he helped her buy a ticket to El Paso, Texas, Christina Laurean told investigators.

I am confused now. It doesn't make any sense to me and it disputes what the Sheriff's department was told by Christina...if this is true.

They also said Thursday they believe Lauterback was killed on Dec. 14.

if this IS the case, then the whole story about the bus ticket & everything isn't true for the 15th.......

if they believe Maria was killed on the 14th, then SOMEONE went & purchased the ticket to El Paso....if it wasn't Christina, then it was SOME female that used Maria's ID to buy the ticket on the 15th....

eta....we know that Maria took the money out of the ATM on the 14th, right?.....so, if she was killed on the evening/afternoon of the 14th, Cesar would have had access to her ID for someone to use to purchase the ticket on the 15th......

now i'm wondering if there's another female somewhere out there that was involved with helping Cesar in purchasing the bus ticket, if it wasn't Christina....

course we only have what Cesar told Christina about the ticket being purchased on the 15th....hmmm, but apparently the purchase was verified to BE the 15th, by Greyhound......wonder why LE think Maria was killed on the 14th

So, Tuesday Jan 8 was Laurean's last day at work
On Wed. Jan 9 he was with his lawyers
On Thurs. Jan 10 he told his wife that Maria was at their home Dec 15 and he took her to buy a bus ticket and later she returned to their home and committed suicide so he decided to bury her
On Fri. Jan 11 he disappeared

Well, would have to find that one chart of time lines that someone posted.
My guess, the neighbors saw the murder driving around with her car and saw it parked on there property..
The date/time of when the shovel/crowbar was borrowed.
The date/time when the fence was pull apart.
When was the last call made on the cell phone.
Also, not been started, when was the hole made in yard. Someone had to of seen that(maybe)

I don't know about the other, but wouldn't the hole coincide with him borrowing the shovel?

According to this Maria was buried in a woods before she was burned?

What is the significants of the bus ticket? I think if we could figure out WHY
El Paso then we might have a better idea of what happen. Personally I do not think Maria would have chose to purchase a ticket on a bus to leave town and esspecially a bus ride to El Paso. But lets say that she did. Then why would she chose El Paso

Is there a marine base in or near El Pasa?

Did she meet someone in the marines that was from El Paso and had returned
there recently. Maybe another love interest of friend and decided to visit them?

She was adopted and her birth was in Florida. Could she have tracked down birth mother in El Paso? Being adopted and pregnant I an sure she was
wondering about her bith parents.

I just cannot understand or make sense of the choice of El Paso.

According to that...he buried her in the wooded area and didn't move her...which we know isn't true. So how much of that entire statement holds water? Look at the motives of the person giving the statement and realize that she is reporting hearsay. Her word seems to be less than credible if this statement is to be believed at all.

well, since we now know that LE thinks Maria was killed on the 14th, then there's no way that Maria actually purchased the bus ticket on the 15th.....if she was killed on the 14th, sometime after 12 noon, then Cesar would have had access to her ID for someone to purchase the ticket........all very confusing, imo

Does this mean that he buried her in the woods and moved her later to burn the body?

No he lied to his wife. She was in the backyard all along
