Missing cell phones

OMG I feel so discumbobulated. My head is spinning with all the matchups going on here. I wish the LE would clue us in with a presser.

I'm not really sure how everyone is coming up with all these theories based on the limited information on the cell phones either but then again the mind goes wild when you have nothing better to do.

Exactly, my sister is in the habit of pocket dialing me 10 times a day but I am in her contacts and usually its also the last number called that you are most likely to pocket dial.. what kind of a coincidence is it that a number was pocket dialed by the number itself (IE: your butt hitting 1234567 etc) and it being the same exchange and someone that lives blocks away from where Baby Lisa was missing from. I cannot see that happening at all if ever.. That would be way to odd if not impossible.

BBM

That's the part that makes it hard to believe it's a wrong number. jmo

Slightly off topic...but...what is more odd than the pairing of JI and that Rasleen lady? Was he blind? Even DB and JI is an odd pairing imo. He looks 60 years old. Just sayin.

So if he looks older he has to be with someone older? :waitasec:

My SIL is 26 and has a ton of grey hair, I think my daughter caused it :innocent:

I have a second cousin that is as bald as JI and about the same age.

I have you know I have plenty of other things to do.....the dishes, the laundry, the .... :floorlaugh: But you peeps are such good company I would rather sit here.

I think Le needs to interview the parents because LE needs to interview the parents. Not quite sure why there are some people against this. Their child is missing, that is a good reason to be interviewed.. Just sayin..

They did. 11 hours. Time to move on. Find Lisa.

It's not that pocket dials are out of the question, it's just that they are usually "my contacts" calls. With this new context, it's a local call to a person who has gone through that very neighborhood, who has made a pointed mention of an ex-boyfriend.

That kind of coincidence makes me think that the call was more likely deliberate. I suppose DB could have transposed a number or two on a contact database entry in the same telephone exchange. But maybe the call was just a call.

If the phone call was answered in real time by another individual, I say it's shenanigans that will lead to Lisa's abductor.

I suppose it's also possible that the ex boyfriend is a contact of JI, DB or the father and that is the number they had in the phone for him. Maybe he was an electrician and knew JI from work. But then you'd think MW would know him also. Or I suppose drugs could be a sketchy connection but I'm not prepared to go there with DB or JI. I just don't see it.

Mixing up or transposing numbers when transferring them is a real possibility. But without the physical phones, LE would have to know every person that was programmed into the phones. And again, how are they going to get this information if the owners of the phones aren't talking to them?

And I wish the phone was answered in real time by an accomplice but I just don't think that's what happened. And if it was voicemail and it was deleted, I doubt the carrier holds records of those recordings once they are deleted.

Maybe MW was just being cute with a play on words when she said 'well my phone did', implying that she didn't answer the phone, her VM did. If the call really came in at 2:30am, she could of been sleeping and didn't hear it.

Prayers for Lisa.....................

Good point. I would think it would be easy enough to check out though. Why does LE have to interview the parents? Just get the phone records. Like in the CA case, the guy came and went in a flash. LE didn't have to interview George about it.

Well if this contact was from a long time ago, then LE would have to get the records from whenever the account was started to see if there were any other calls to that number. And even then, people put contacts into their phones that they never call.

So instead they'd have to check the history of that phone number. And then they'd have to find and interview previous owners of the number to see if they knew DB, JI or the father.

Or they could sit down with the parent's and go over this mysterious call and find out if there was any way that MW's number could be on any of the contact lists on any of the phones in question. But the parents aren't talking to them.

Yes, because it's unreasonable to expect that parents would devote more than 11 hours to finding their daughter. :waitasec:

Except she says she doesn't know who answered it. That implies the call was answered in real time - not sent to VM. LE would have records by now. And she also says she doesn't know who was on the other end, or what was said. That implies that to her knowledge, something COULD have been said - but she can't know what was said. If it were a voicemail, there would be a message or dead air, and she would have some idea of the content of the call if she deleted it herself.

No it is not a baby.

It's a jacket or sweater and some papers of some sort. They had just picked up the boys at school.

i thought the boys had the day off from school - that is why it was a good day for interviewing/ DNA testing? Did i make that up in my own head? :blushing:

We now know the receiving call was found by LE and they showed up to interview the call recipient 4 times so far.

I'm wondering if there were pings from that phone from the pertinent time frame...near the search area (lake) yesterday. Just a thought.

So true Donjeta. Can't have the parents becoming exhausted now, can we? That poor baby. MOO.

This report about the phone call and MW tells me that LE has been all over those phone records from the get-go. MW has been interviewed by LE 4 times.

Makes me think that the "doppler thing on a piece of paper" that DB claimed LE showed her must be the real thing. I would really like to know what those phone pings are saying................

I've posted my opinion about this whole LE versus parents issue on another thread this morning and unfortunately, I don't have the energy to retype it.

This shouldn't be a battle but it is what it is. The parents feel threatened by LE and have stopped communicating without their attorney.

I say arrest them or move on. Find Lisa.

No you didn't make that up, lol. In Da Middle, one of our locals, says school is out today. It was speculated that it may have been the reason today was chosen for the (previously scheduled) interview & swabbing of the children.

Unbelievable isn't it? Yet, MW would talk to LE 4 times over a 50 second phonecall that she didn't even take!!:banghead:
I think LE are connecting the dots and sorting thru the layers of cwap that were left for them to sift thru rather than being cleared up by people with the answers!!:banghead:
I think LE could actually press charges for at least child endangerment if nothing else! But, their main goal is NOT to lock up or arrest anyone "because that is what they do"-their main goal is to find Lisa!!
I wish it was the main goal of her parents too!!:maddening:
