Missing cell phones

Honestly, I could almost swear that the name "M" was in connection with the drinking buddy neighbor.

Not an uncommon name, though. I dunno. Maybe I'm losing it.

I heard the name or read it somewhere. It did start with an M but it wasn't Megan. Don't know if I'm allowed to post the name (first name was all I heard or read). I'm new and don't want to get in trouble.

And another lie by the parents. "We didn't pay the bill so the phones were restricted and we couldn't use them" my azz.

When they find the phones, they will find Lisa. Right where the parents left them both. IMO.

FWIW, one of the phones was loaned by DB's dad to replace her broken one. Do we know what phone plan that phone was under? Could have been her dad's IDK?

So, who are the neighbods across the street and have they been interviewed?
Jersey hung out in the house across the street. Neighbor across the street was keeping an eye on the house. According to BS, had a code worked out with DB and JI about the lights being on or off, then JI is reported to have gone across the street to see if Lisa was there on the morning of the disappearance.

I have a feeling this call is important. I don't think LE would interview her 4 times if it was a wrong number, but maybe they would?

I wish we knew whose phone called the number and what time: DB's phone, Jeremy's phone, Dad's phone? Were they all 3 really at the house on the counter, or was it just necessary for all 3 to disappear with Lisa?

(I could swear the name has come up in a minimal way in this case before - but maybe I'm thinking Meghan Kelley from Fox or something. Bugging me)

So, the phones that didn't work, called someone who does not know the family but has walked through the neighborhood. Got it....the kidnapper paid the bill so he could use the phone, and he mis-dialed.

...and paid the bill with DBs debit card she didn't notice was stolen. (sarcasm)

50 secs. at 2:30 am is more than a wrong number. Interviewed 4 times too...wow!

Is it in fact from one of the missing cell phones? Maybe it was from JI's cell phone? Wild speculation......could he have called her to make plans to meet her? Didn't he say something along the lines of "somebody that has been cheated on...." when asked who could of done this?

Drinking buddy is SB.

Are you sure? Where did you get that info? I thought she lived like 3 doors down. How would she see when the lights were turned off?

So many questions...so few truthful answers!

I wondered about that at the time. When DB said they couldn't use the phones because they hadn't paid the bill, that statement did not make sense if dad's phone was working. I thought perhaps DB put the SIM from the broken phone into the old phone dad gave her and that dad's phone was not an actual usable, in service phone.

I don't know. DB can't keep it straight, and neither can I.

FWIW, I don't think the time of the call to MW has been reported. There was a rumor early on that there was a call made at 2:30, but it was never confirmed by MSM.

If JI called 911 from his cellphone, why did he immediately go across the street to the neighbor's house?

I agree that it sounds very suspicious. But, I (having been a victim of the "any key answer" feature on my phone) can understand how it can happen that you can answer a call and not ever know you answered it. Of course, I am not saying that is what happened here. For example, I once picked up my bf's cell phone to see who was calling. It was his ex. He said he didn't want to talk to her, so I set the phone back down, not realizing that it was set to accept the call when any key was pushed. As I set it back down, I must have hit a key because she was privy to the whole conversation that we had about why he didn't want to talk to her right then. Embarrassing and just a little bit awkward.

However, I doubt that is what happened here, but there are ways to answer your own phone and not realize that you answered it. I do think that this is something much bigger in respect to this case. Maybe that is why they won't talk to LE anymore. Maybe LE said, ok, we talked to your phone company and they said you were all paid up, so can we please cut the crap about your bill not being paid and your phones not working? JMO.

I think BS was talking about the next door neighbour who was drinking with her with regards to the lights and the "code" ? :waitasec:

I imagine LE told them to cut the crap about a lot of things and I imagine that happened shortly before they cut off the interview and left, never to return.

I will never understand why people think they are smarter than LE. Heck, we're unraveling this fairy tale right here all by ourselves (along with the rest of America).

If JI called 911 from his cellphone, why did he immediately go across the street to the neighbor's house?

Well JT said "across to the neighbours", not across the street so I'm still confused as to whether he meant across the street or across the driveway.

But I think In Da Middle mentioned something about a neighbour from across the street being outside after hearing the ruckus and that's who he ran to?

I hope she can come in here and verify this.

MOO

So, we have someone in the Irwin home making a call on phones that don't work  at 2:30 AM or we have two calls made??

I cant imagine why u would tell police that u had no phone service when u did! That would be the dumbest. moo If that happened i expect that they made some serious other mistakes and its a matter of time. moo

It kind of stretches the imagination to try to put her with Jersey, doesn't it? He's in his 40's, not exactly a hot young guy.
The landlord and MW both have unusual hair...

Not a slam on unusual hair...I like (some) unusual hair...

until we have a link to an article saying the name of the phone lady we are not going to be posting her name. initials are fine.

((and gentle reminder there will be no sleuthing of the phone lady))

:bump:

Thank you
