Missing cell phones

Could this call have been a result of a drunk DB having suspicions of something going on with phonelady and JI? :waitasec:

This is what I was thinking. My theory has been that DB snapped and JI being gone somehow caused DB to go off the deep end. Maybe she didn't believe JI was even at work and thought he was with another woman.

Wasn't one of the stolen phones donated by "grandpa"? What if it was THAT phone that called MW? Does she know him? IDK if the donated phone was even working - but just a thought I had.

since it has been reported that one of the parent's phones was not working properly and it has been speculated that the other of the parent's phones was not able to make outgoing calls - I would imagine it was the third of the stolen phones that was used to make the outgoing call to MW - the one given to them by a family member.

I want to know who MW was with when she was in Lisa's neighborhood.

I've done it. Other people I know have done it. Like I said, I don't really believe that to be case here. Just too many other coincidences. But it can happen. Especially since you don't have to put in the area codes on most cell phones if the call is local to where they phone is registered. I have pocket dialed a number that was not in my directory and was local, but it started with 444, which made it easier.

Yep,my phone will call the last number called or received,or someone in my contact list , with the push of just one button.
My husband pocket dials me all the time.It's interesting listening in on conversations,sometimes.LOL

I really think we need to be careful assuming she lied about the cell phone service being turned off, to the best of her knowledge. It's so proveable that it's either totally bogus, or an error on the phone company's part.

But.

At some point these "coincidences" are going to stop being someone else's fault.

At what point do we stop making excuses and coming up with wild theories explaining away DB's lies?

It's possible the phone company screwed up, yes. It's also possible DB lied.

I'm just so frustrated and want Lisa found, and this case is driving me bonkers!!

As I understood it, he was going to complete a task, not work a shift. So if he said I'll probably be home about 10:30, that's just a guess, and I wouldn't worry in my sleep that he wasn't home yet.

I would worry if my husband was 5-6 hours later than expected, but that's just me.

We don't know yet if this phone call to MW is the rumored 2:30 a.m. call/text or not. I don't think any time has been give for the MW call. Right?

Just trying to make sure we're not lumping two separate pieces of into one unless/until they are confirmed to be connected.

I took her statement to mean that she and her ex-boyfriend had walked around there in the past, not the night in question. She received the call, however, the night Baby Lisa disappeared.

Or "very near" the house. I think it was DB who said LE told her that when they showed her the "doppler ping sheet". They can never be exact with co-ordinates.

Ayup. She's drunk, he's late, she's jealous - real or imagined reasons - bad things happen under those circumstances. And she has him convinced it's all his fault...so he helps.

If it were me and my husband wasn't home by at least 1am, I would worry and would NOT go to bed until he was home. When it got on to be 6 hours, I'd be in full panic, especially if I had no way of contacting him.
