Missing cell phones

I don't doubt LE knows whether it was a mistaken 50 second call, or something else having to do with Baby Lisa going missing.

I'm so intriqued by a call being made to MW who says she doesn't have any involvement with the Mom and Dad, but doesn't explain why she thinks her number was called. (sticking her ex bf in the statement really seemed like TMI details, making me have to wonder who her ex is)

I can understand how it happened on a borrowed work phone, but the call made from one of the missing three phones would be an extremely odd fact.

First and foremost, Lisa needs to be found ASAP.

I also find this extremely odd. 50 seconds is a long time for either a call or voice mail going to the wrong party without the caller realizing it and hanging up, and for the person whose phone the call was made to not to know what happened. Granted at that hour of the night, she could have been asleep, however, did the caller leave a voice mail or actually speak with someone, and if the latter, who had access to her phone?

According to MW, the phone was answered and the call lasted 50 seconds. She doesn't know who answered the phone or the content of the conversation. Curiouser and curiouser.

Thanks for clarifying. I was going from memory having seen her video only once. With that said, however, again, where was her phone and who had access to it? At that hour of the night, mine is on the nightstand, charging.

Can't LE find out whether the call went to Voicemail or was answered by a person? It seems the phone records should tell them that much, but apparently they don't want to reveal the information. And, in the meantime, I think MW may be quite nervous about revealing that she doesn't know who had her phone that night! JMO.

BBM One would think they could tell if it was answered or not. 50 seconds is a long time for a silent voicemail too. I'm thinking it was answered AND I'm thinking she knows who had access to her phone that night. Shoot, she could've even been the one who answered the phone for all we know. It would sure be interesting to know who her ex-boyfriend is, which is probably a different person than her ex-husband IMO. I'll be quiet now before I get into trouble. :innocent:

LE hasn't commented, but they have questioned MW 4 times, and she states the call was answered.

Exactly. Too coincidental, in my opinion, that the same night the alleged abductor took Lisa, the three cell phones go missing, and her phone gets a call from one of those phones at 2:38am and she doesn't have any clue what happened.

Let's see if I have this straight regarding these missing cell phones:

One was supposedly broken (and this phone belonged to DB?).
One cell phone belonged to JI.
One cell phone was borrowed from DB's father.

Correct?

Yes. At least that's how I have it.

That was the original information at least.

she received a phone call from one of the "missing" phones on the night lisa disappeared (i think)

I just listened to MW and the way she said it was someone else answered the phone -- either she didn't know who or wouldn't say or even who they talked to.

Guess I'm going to have make another stack of red flags cause that's a big one.

It is a HUGE red flag, in my opinion. Who doesn't know where their phone is or who has access to it at that hour of the night?

Thanks for confirming what I thought I knew, Panthera and WOO.

So...if MW is telling the truth and she doesn't know JI or DB , then how could either of these parents have called MW's phone, if they didn't know her and didn't have her phone number? One way it could have happened is if the number was programmed into DB's father's phone. So...does HE know her? :waitasec:

Seems like she would just say that, right? I think that is a great deduction, but I don't see why she wouldn't just say it.

I know, this is going to become part of the blackout defense. DI accidentally dialed it while she was programming the phone at 2:30 am... she just doesn't remember. We won't hear about this though, until she's caught in some connection.

Well, the names aren't the same. Maybe she didn't put 2 and 2 together? :waitasec:

Or...maybe I need to stop obsessing about this phone call. LOL!

ETA: On the other hand, how many of you have phone numbers of your kid's friends/girlfriends/boyfriends that you really don't know, but you have the number in case you need to get ahold of your kid?

OK if a cellphone mis-dials to another cellphone which happens to be within a mile of the call, this is not random. If someone tries to dial a landline number and misdials by messing up one of the last 4 digits, then maybe I can see that happening. The prefix numbers (first 3 numbers) in my area tend to be similar. However, I know it has not been confirmed yet, but this girl MW is saying someone called her phone from one of the stolen phones. I know she is young (not saying how I know) so the phone call she received was likely to a cell phone she has. So why did SHE get a call that night? What time did she get this call (officially) and was she up at the time? Who was she hanging with that night? Nope, not random, can't be. Unless the cell phone redirected an outgoing call ( from DB and JI`s phone) to a random phone in the area. Is this possible...

If a cell phone was taken by kidnapper and my number was dialed from one of the cell phones, I'd ASK about all the names. By now she knows who DB's dad is.

I think her mentioning driving through with her "ex" before, is setting that ex up for something.

That timeline would make it even worse for her, that she was still awake and programming the phone at 2:30am, with JI arriving home approximately an hour later, and somewhere in between the abductor entered the house and took Lisa while DB was sound asleep?

A jury of children could probably figure out that doesn't add up!
