I understand that by him decapitating his vic's he is leaving his signature but whyyyy? I was watching a show one time (and this is going to sound so horrible) but it said that decapitating someone is extremely difficult, it's not like one swipe and your done it explained it in detail and it's definately a process... :furious:

I still believe the decapitation may be an integral part of his signature, and it is not common to decapitate. We may hear of stories where this has happened, but of the many, many thousands of murders few killers decapitate their victims. At least it is doubtful that this slime will never walk the earth free again.

My understanding of that "process" is the same as yours. Still boggles my mind.

Has anyone found out where he was in 1995? I was just looking at the sketch of the possible aductor of Morgan Nick in Alma, Arkansas. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/n/nick_morgan.html

Since someone had mentioned he hung around parks and ballparks, it rather struck me about Morgan. She was abducted from a ballpark by a scruffy man, 6' 0", 180 lbs. approx., and he talked with a "hillbilly" accent. (Which if you are from Arkansas and YOU are calling someone else's accent "hillbilly"...tells me they are not from around there!)

Does anyone know if Meredith was found all together since she was decapitated, or was the body in a different location? I'm just wondering why the freak did that, if it was to try and prevent identification or other reasons.

From what i've read her remains were found in two different places, i'll have to go back and see which article someone had qouted.

Dick Fleischman said a psychic out of New York called him before Christmas to say she envisioned him in a large white vehicle. His family is now wondering if Gary Hilton, the man accused of killing a hiker in Georgia, was involved in his son's disappearance.

If this guy is a serial killer, and I think he is, my money is on him giving up 'bits and pieces' of information for years to come to buy time for himself to avoid being put to death by the State of GA (and others)...

ITA. And I'm willing for him to stay alive as long as he is talking. He could give info on a lot of cases, not just the ones he was involved in. Just by ruling out ones he did NOT do would be helpful b/c you know everyone from here to the Mississippi with a missing person in their life over the past 40 years is wondering if he killed them.

As much as I think he deserves the DP, he is one guy who has a lot of info for LE. He may even know about other killers just from his way of life and people he has run into.

But keep the DP hanging over his head in case he gets shy. FL and GA are pretty efficient about not letting them wait too long. :angel:

I think he looks just like Couy also, which gives me the feeling that I have seen him before. And, I know I haven't seen Hilton in person anywhere. That look of his in that one pic of him in front of the courtroom bench just gives me the shivers....he is looking straight into the camera and I can see all the evil that lives within him. <shudder>

At work and lots to do today, can't be on here much

Wanted to mention this because I have't seen you all talking about it. Big news here locally is they pulled one over on Mr. Hilton by pulling DP off the table in exchange for Merediths body.....that was NOT in the county he is being charged...Dawson County says they DID not give this agreement to him. Heard all this on the news last night and this morning. I will find a link and post here and media thread.

Someone over at Steve's site found this posting from John30563 at the Whiteblaze forum:

"OK this just keeps getting closer for me. A guy I went to school with who works for the DNR actually was with the team who found the body. I will not go into details I have heard tonight here. But I will say this, Meredith put up a hell of a fight. This guys is suposedly beat black and blue with several broken ribs and a broken arm."

I don't know about that. He's 61...and I don't see him living a very long prison life. I doubt he will live long enough to reach the DP after all the appeals, etc...

I find the broken arm part hard to believe because in court pictures his arm isn't in a cast or even a sling. I do think Maredith would have put up a fight, but the broken arm doesn't jive with the pictures we have seen of him in court yesterday.

I thought the same thing. I suppose it could be a hairline fracture. I guess I just like the thought of him hurting.
