Newspaper reports say the beds looked like they had been slept in. Not hard to subdue if they were sleeping.

All that means is that they laid down in the beds, no signed of a forced entry means they was probably let in by Suzie or Sherill.

That does not mean they were attacked whiles asleep.

Well it wouldn’t for me especially if I’m Stacey as I have no loyalty too the other two.

Why would she be concerned if one of the others gets injured if she can escape with her life?

Sherill as a mother would naturally protect her child but she was also a adult and the majority of people know you put up a fight as that’s your best chance of survival. One you are constrained and especially if you know the guilty party you know you will die regardless.

The thing is we don’t know. I would tend to try not get anyone killed. Depending how they were one gun could of worked or not. Can’t rule out either way though.

That’s noble of you and I admire that

I will be equally as honest and say if I had a chance to run and save my own life then i would take it. Especially if I was a casual acquaintance and also by me escaping I can raise that alarm a lot sooner.

Also according to early reports ( I have never seen links to this but it’s been said loads of times in other threads on here ) that Stacey did put up a fight as a bloody hand print was found in the house I think near the door.

I have read hand print, finger print, and even a foot print a couple times. I don’t put much credence into it considering how many times it has changed.

I do not believe someone following the women home would have the foresight, the supplies, the land, and the transport (van/truck) all ready to go if needed. Not to mention, not knowing whether a male would be present in the house.

This was planned, IMO.

I don't buy it for this crime. Different circumstances. However I do believe there was a mastermind in this crime.

Show me where three adult women are taken AT ONCE and no bodies and no blood are found by one person.

Another point I'd like to make, I read a lot of people giving character references on the suspects of this case saying such and such would never hurt a fly, nicest person you'd ever meet, etc...

I don't rule out any nice gentle person. Did you see Dahmer on Dahmer: A serial killer speaks? I did and it scared the living sh## out of me. This guy was so kind and non threatening that the police officer who was with him after his arrest got neck massages from him. Said he never felt scared or threatened by him. A man who admitted to murdering multiple innocent strangers and his own mother.

So that's an example of a nice, gentle, kind, non threatening admitted serial killer.

WHY did Sherrill go to that particular APCO convenient store. I don't think she would have just gone there randomly looking for her daughter. If the sighting of Sherrill being there was legit, something prompted her to go to that particular store. Question is, what was it????

You seem to have the Kirby and Brian Joy's locations pinned down and if you lived in Spfld in '92...how many convenience stores were 'handy' b/t Battlefield and that SW part of Spfld?
I'm thinking it was sparse esp any open at 2 a.m. ???
I'm thinking.......not too many and isn't/wasn't that Apco just off of Republic Rd? A possible route the girls could have taken?

Exactly......I listened to the Web Sleuth podcast on Chris Watts....then 'had to' watch some You Tube videos concerning Chris Watts. My oh my. He's in a league of his own. Narcissist/Psychopath who put up a perfect family man 'front' and we all know how that turned out.

Ann Rule (retired LE and True Crime author) worked right beside Ted Bundy at a Suicide Hotline facility...she had trouble believing her Ted was THE Ted that was murdering women right and left.
He was NICE and CARING towards her. Walked her to her car to make sure she was safe....

Thank you for sharing. I see this highly unlikely considering the only place there seems to have been any struggle possibly was in Sherrill’s room considering her closet appeared messy and that too could of been from other reasons. I just don’t see in this circumstance that they would not fight.

Also when it comes to adrenaline I find that ones that seek it out need to more than a one and done kind of thing. They usually try and push it further. I know when I’m sea kayaking once I crash through a wave I can not get enough waves.

Let me elaborate a little further on the thrill aspect. What i meant by that, was that they were getting high on speed. Crack Meth whatever it was back then maybe even just cocaine whichever. Being under the influence and watching the girls come home that night setting there in there vehicle getting high and watching for whom knows how long. They decided under the influence to take the girls for an added rush/thrill. So at some point they pulled next to the house, on the side of house the right side since the door opened left to right facing out towards the street. One or both got out and walked on the porch and broke the globe. the glass busting alerted those inside . Not suspecting anything one or more look out the window then open the door to see what it was, they probably knew it was the globe falling off, so one went to clean it up. when the door opened someone forced them back inside with a gun in hand. The closet was a mess perhaps because someone back in that room heard the commotion and knew something bad was happening. So perhaps this person tried to hide at some point in the closet as well as they could. This was no robbery, no one was there to steal a TV or whatever else. No credit cards used at any ATM machine. No purchase on a stolen card etc. There main motive was the girls. They were in and out quickly.

ADD ON ... Could you tell me if back in the day during there investigation. Did they investigate, visit question any members of a local motorcycle club?? Three girls being taken at once is rare. But for a motorcycle club three would be much better than one. A club like the outlaws, Angels etc. What clubs were popular back then in that area? Sons of Silence perhaps. Something like that.

The fact that it was initially labeled as probably starting as a sexual assault against Sherrill implies to me that there was something that HAS NOT been released to the general public as far as evidence. Also, the tallest of the group was only 5'3'' according to reports and Sherrill was only 5'. This precludes physically fighting off a larger, stronger male especially if he was armed.

What would indicate a sexual assault? I wonder what made LE 'initially' label it as a sexual assault?
Torn underwear lying about? A used condom somewhere in the house (or front lawn)?
IMO.....LE was speculating.....of course what made them change their mind later on?
