Janelle and Mike certainly had many uninterrupted hours to stage that house imo

Even the phone call we only have their word on what was said when they answered it and it’s crazy as hell they even answered it in the first place.

MOO

Walking through an unlocked door is one thing but answering the phone is plain ridiculous. If Mike and Janelle truly thought they’d just stepped out-on foot-why were they so anxious that they answered the phone in case whoever was calling might know where they were. That’s crazy.

exactly,,,good 'call'......
SPD said they didn't think the Janelle calls, and the ones later on, were related....interesting. Not able to get the numbers received from a phone bill? Pay phone.

hmmm....sure doesn't 'stack up' straight.......it's leaning to one side.....MOO too.
and you're 'concerned' but don't call Janis McCall....oopsie.
Were they 'dumb'? Insensitive? Self-centered? Or ......what?

What would Suzie's bff (Nigel) have done if she'd gone over that morning, found the door open but everybody's.....gone.

I thought Sherrill‘s late night caller couldn’t be traced but they could tell she received a phone call. So if the technology was not that far advanced and all they could tell was the home that morning did get a phone call how on earth could they rule it out of the crime?

It’s ironic how Janelle is involved in so much of the crime. One of the last known people to see the girls alive, first on the scene of the crime and contaminated the crime screen. Also had many hours available to be in the house without anybody being any of the wiser.

She also didn’t call Stacey’s mum to see if Stacey had been in touch first thing which would of been logical considering the two people she had plans with and she was obviously desperate to reach them hence the 8am phone calls.

So she starts calling the house early despite being up until 2.30ish and yet after numerous phone calls she heads to a house she has never been to and let’s herself in, looks around and answers the phone. She even takes note that the dog seems distressed and yet despite taking that all into account she goes to the water park as if nothing is wrong knowing the 3 cars are outside. That the cigarettes are on the coffee table , purses have also been left behind. Also let’s be honest if she was looking around the house she checked the bedrooms as why wouldn’t she and she would of seen the last thing Stacey wore was on the floor.

Either she has the IQ of a apple and the emotional range of a teaspoon or something doesn’t add up.

Mrs McCall didn't know Levitt's 'new number'.....my parent's lived in Spfld, they moved but their number stayed the same.

Had Mrs. McCall never contacted Levitt?

I imagine Janelle dreaded Mrs. McCall. She must’ve been exhausted, nervous and in no shape to face or answer a barrage of questions from a ticked off parent by the time she got to Sherrill’s. The last thing she probably wanted to tell Mrs. McCall was there was no room for Stacy at her parent’s.
Did anyone go to the water park with Mike and Janelle?

From what I remember reading Mike put the glass in the trash (I swear I read he put it in a dumpster)after he swept it up.
This may have come out when Mike and Janelle described to police the state of of the house that morning.

Well he didn’t put the glass in bin at the home of the Streeters. One of the other threads on here mention he went to next door or something to get rid of the glass.

It’s ok to rummage though the house but god forbid you use their bin to get rid of the glass.

"I think they (other people) were brought into this not knowing what was going to happen. It's quite possible that the primary person did not know what was going to happen"...

"There are people that have knowledge who don't feel good about the knowledge they have. They may not be the primary person"....

"Secondary players may fear going to police because they think the primary culprit would retaliate

Some of the quotes made about this case and i definitely feel this indicates it wasn’t just a sexual attack gone wrong that night. This crime was a lot closer to home and a lot more personal.

Wow, this explains so much. I'm betting he used the dumpster of the business next door to Levitts home. Quite handy.

The only thing we need is probable cause. Motive: MOO....revenge
And IMO it doesn't have to make sense to others. What's tiny for one could be huge for another.

I found this article in the SNL . It is small and about a note left about fixing a light. If you click on it it should enlarge for you.

Exactly. Her actions, tone of voice and flat affect....you hit it..... apple and a teaspoon 'fit' perfectly. Great description! Anyone keeping track of all these great 'facts'?

Do we know if the dresser that Sherrill was working on was in the apartment already or was it something that was new? I am just wondering if it was new, could she possibly have knocked it off while she was trying to get it in the house earlier in the day? Also, it could be possible that the door was closed hard and it knocked the light off. If the girls did make it to the house, the door may have been one that was rather easy to close and since Stacy wouldn't have been aware of that (since she hadn't been to the Streeter house), accidently slammed the door causing it to fall and break. Suzie maybe left a note for Sherrill for the next day if she was already sleeping (before they disappeared) letting her know about the accident and to watch for the glass since they were leaving early for the waterpark.

I hope this map is a little helpful.
okay, so we all know Battlefield and Delmar St in Springfield are not nearly that close. At least a 15 min drive when no traffic and hit lots of green lights.
