I didn't understatnd either. Judge does not allow speaking objections Whatever that means.?

Something he probably just made up to be a total tool. jmo

Dennis said he doesn't do speaking objections. I believe that means he does not want them to object and elaborate on the objection before the jury? And he thanks the attorneys for their patience with his idiosyncrasies. I agree with him on that one. He does have idiosyncrasies.

Thank you. That explains it I think.

Re BBM. I was ROFLMAO when judge said that. The judge needs to start apologizing for much more now since he broke the ice. :)

Canterbury testifying that when the car was found at Peachtree Boat Landing and officers were able to enter it, they found Heather Elvis' license but no purse or car keys. The officer also described the car as being messy.

This is the LEO that picked up TE (and the keys) and took him to the car parked at PTL. LEO says HE DL was in the car. No purse, keys, cellphone found in the car. The car appeared messy, typical mess not a sign of a struggle.

I'm sorry, but this LE officer looks like a deer in headlights. Chill out and relax.

Exactly what I thought he meant. He just wants them to say "objection, hearsay" for example, and then end it at that.

Yea ours too...I don't really use the "smart" options and stick to my Apple TV [emoji23]. It's easy to use because Apple makes everything the same haha

The witness testified he tried to contact Heather Elvis via her cellphone. Canterbury also said the car was registered to Terry Elvis, who drove the car back home after police searched it.

(This is the part where I get nervous. IIRC they let TE drive the car. I assume Truslow will cover that part when it's his turn.)

This LEO made contact with Bri via telephone and then went to SM house after midnight (can't recall the exact time) during the same shift. LEO says they parked at the very end of the M's driveway and SM met them at the end of the driveway. 3 LEOS were at SM house talking to SM at the end of his driveway. He was not a suspect, not even certain a crime had occurred at this point. Went to SM house, had been told of previous relationship and thought he might have met up with HE. No threats or promises for talking to him. No coercing. Didn't read Miranda Warnings (not required b/c he wasn't a suspect b/c not aware of a crime) LEO had a body microphone on at this time.

Canterbury testified that he and two other officers spoke with Sidney Moorer at the defendant's driveway. At that time, Moorer was not a suspect and there was no indication a crime had been committed at that time.

Remember the earlier discussion about the position of the drivers car seat, guess that isn't going to be a point in this.

State showing jury a video of interview between police and defendant.

The time stamp on the video is Dec. 20, 2013, starting at 2:13 a.m.

State Exhibit 2 published to Jury, copy of the report of the conversation with SM from that night. Court room looks to be more filled now.

Dash cam caught the conversation that night, playing the video now. Audio from microphone has the conversation. Time stamp on video is Dec 20, 2013 2:12am.

Listening to the audio of SM. It's hard to hear for me...

360 texts back and forth between your phone and her phone.

My wife is the only person that has my phone ??

Arguing about him lying.. Hindering the investigation.

SM says "last night" or night before (he can't remember) last time he talked to HE. He says she blew up his phone (the last night he heard from her). 360 texts from the last month (prior to Dec 20) SM says his wife is the only other person who has his phone.

ETA those texts were "back and forth" per LE.

Wouldn't LE/State translate this interview as best as they could for evidence?
