Have to admit I would love to be seeing TM react to all that's being said in the courtroom. State says SM is smart, personally, I don't see that at all, deceitful but not smart.

Someone asked what the four minute conversation was about ...

Heather was scared of Tammy. Who wouldn't be, clearly her shed is missing some power tools. Why then would Heather risk calling SM on his cell phone that night? Because something he said to her in that payphone call, led her to believe Tammy was no where around SM that night. I can't wait to hear Bri's testimony!!

I know I'm behind, but I have another question. Why would SM call on a pay phone when he had a cell unless he didn't want there to be a record that he had contact with her that night? Did he always contact her on a pay phone rather than his cell?

Re BBM

I found this but cant get the link right to work to put here

"She was scheduled to work at the Tilted Kilt on December 20, but never showed up"

Thank you, I'm getting some of the initial dates mixed up.

The million dollar question.

Wish I could read lips

I switched to the livestream link posted up thread on the last break and I just realized you can pause it and go back.

Don't know how long it's up there and available to rewind, but wish I had done that earlier LOL

Good point, I just went to the dentist and I stalled it and now I'm continuing to watch it.

What I've always found interesting about the pay phone issue is that she made calls to it after that initial conversation. We now know she made 9 calls to it. I've always wondered why she thought she could reach him at that number. Surely he had a story about why he was calling from a difference phone than his cell.

Be patient with me here but this is my current opinion (subject to change by the minute)
I am changing my opinion of SM a little to one I previously had that he really did care for HE. IMO, I heard him say (on the video from LE interview Dec 20th) that he told her they had to stop b/c TM found out and he was going out of town with his family and she cried and he cried. I think SM had real feelings for Heather and that it was MUCH more than just "BJs and lattes" as TM wants everyone to believe. Now, I understand he is on trial for kidnapping and it is assumed he took part in her murder, I don't feel sorry for him, like him or even believe 100% that he is innocent in this. I do believe that Heather loved him and he probably loved her too. For that, I will give him the benefit of the doubt as the facts come out during this trial, out of respect for Heather and her feelings for him. If there is even a small possibility that SM did not physically harm her that night, I know she would want the real murderer/kidnapper (TM imo) to be charged.

I could be wrong, been wrong plenty of times in my life but I have thought from the beginning that he had real feelings for her but for whatever reason (money, fear (for himself, Heather, his kids), security, embarrassment, being a follower, harassment) he just couldn't leave or turn on TM. Think about it, Polly was in court yesterday, seeming to support her SIL who did awful things to embarrass her, her daughter and himself. Is that because he is covering (taking the fall) for her own daughter? Is that why she is the one putting up the money and house for him? If it were any of us, we would leave our sorry SIL out to hang and worry about it himself. I know my MIL would certainly be done with me.

WMBF News

The witness reiterated on cross that he found Elvis' vehicle a few minutes after 4 a.m., on Dec. 18. No further questions and the witness was excused.

Then this would be less than a half hour after whatever happened had happened.

Yes. the Peachtree landing is pretty close to the courthouse.

What is more interesting is the Peachtree landing is VERY close to the Moorers House. Its right up the road.

Map included. They live right up road Mill Pond Road north from the landing I believe.

Where on Mill Pond Road? I did screen cap but not sure if it is north or south from PTL? I can redo with address fwiw

BBM BOOM - what other reason is there to think but he was trying to mask the contact of that night. If he used a payphone before I am sure there would be records of that. We know there were many communications between he and Heather on his cell. I cannot think of one single other reason for him to use the payphone that night.

Did the questioning of the officer that went to SM's house establish a timeline for when SM told LE actually spoke to Heather? I heard "haven't seen her in 6 weeks" - then I spoke to her last night to tell her to stop calling - no mention of the pay phone at that time? When was the payphone call discovered and when was SM confronted with it? I'm assume LE received info of the incoming call from the payphone from Terry's phone log.

Does anyone know if we can see Mr. Elvis and which one he is in the courtroom?

In front of the guy with the lime green shirt there is a guy with a brown suit and a lady with a black and white checkerboard top and wondering if that is the Elvis parents?
I saw them when they walked in this morning. TE had on a dark suit jacket and DE had a long sleeved teal shirt. They sat far off to the left, out of camera range. HTH!

I think the state is calling witnesses in the order of information they received, so we might not know exactly when they learned that information for a bit.

I can see what you're saying, but I do think these kinds of triangles are inherently loaded with too much dysfunction and dishonesty for anyone to be having authentic relationship with anyone. That's why they're triangles.

I think the bottom line will always be that if he genuinely cared for her, she wouldn't be dead. JMO

Truslow said in opening statements he called from a payphone so TM wouldn't know about it (like he didn't want to upset dear wifey anymore than he already had).

You make some great points. When this first happened and LE and the Elvis family were appealing to anyone that may be scared to come forward I always wondered if they were talking to SM. And the reason LE arrested them right after SM almost had his nervous breakdown in the hospital was to separate them and hope that SM would tell the truth. Another thought I have is Polly could be supporting SM because her husband helped get rid of Heather and she doesn't want that to come out. I think they are all covering for each other. They know what happened and have their own role in it, including the sister. I think it's very strange also that SM seems very disconnected from his family, especially now.

I once thought that SM cared for Heather and now he has nothing but TM and his kids. I want to know how and when TM found out about the relationship. Was it before the trip was planned or was the trip to appease her, get back in her good graces and then after some time passed he felt it was safe to contact Heather again.

Agree. I'm sure he loved her body compared to his wife's body who'd been through four pregnancies, and maybe he even thought he loved her, but it's like an addiction....all just brain chemicals confusing the brain.

I just wanted to add, if he truly cared for her, he would not have wrote the things he did on his FB. Everyone seems to think TM was doing it, but I don't know. His call from a payphone was the catalyst for whatever happened to Heather.

You make good points. BBM I have always thought that as well. TM was a daddy's girl and I believe he would not have thought twice about helping her that night, if she asked for it. IMO
