I'm trying to wrap my head around SM having access to her through an earlier meeting, then going home instead.

I think the 'plan' was highly fluid and being made up as he/wifey went along.

still think sm was "in love with" heather, like some misbegotten fairy tale?

No, that was a fantasy, pure & simple. He never 'loved' her. He liked having sex with her and when caught and then facing a possible oops pregnancy he disposed of her.

ita.....

Short witness, Bri? Long witness the headlights guy?

Short witness, SM's son's friend - long witness headlights guy?

Bri's testimony is still undecided, defense wants her "hearsay statements" not admissible.

You know she is reading all the threads and seeing what we're reacting to and trying to do damage control. The good thing is she has no control over the jury. Speaking of the jury how many will it take to get a guilty verdict to stick, majority? Embarrassed to have to ask.

Hola TM, how's it hanging?

Lol

Thankfully SM admitted he spoke to her. So he can't say oh my phone spoke to her but it wasn't me.

Yeah, but maybe what he admitted to was the earlier phone call from the payphone. I'm just not sold on Heather being the one that actually drove her car to PTL bc that 1 minute timeframe between the truck arriving there and leaving there is pretty tight...

Except for the part where they successfully killed her, left no evidence of a crime, and no one knows where her body ended up.

Ok ..OK..the mucus clearing is WAY more annoying than the "if you don't minds" JMO but. :puke:

I don't know. If I see her drag that easel around one more time, I will :pullhair:. If she is going to use a large pad, why not use one that has some support backing rather than the floppy, flimsy one someone has to hold up. They do make pads that will stand up on an easel. I hope the other pro continues for the rest of the day.

If you do, tell her to brush up on the case and join us here. She'd add some spice to our discussion :)

I feel like they are related...I mean the whole Charleston connection. Not that it matters in this case but the family is very prominent...he just seems to have an arrogance about him that rubs me the wrong way. Seems like he would never think badly of any of HIS friends kids.

Anyway back from break- I hope the truck headlight testimony is tomorrow when I'm at work LOL

She probably was not killed at PTL or at least not in a way that left forensic evidence for them to find. There are hundreds/thousands of places to dispose of a body. Lots of water/swamps included.

Yet he managed to get caught calling her on her cell phone, got caught on video, and here he sits with a kidnapping charge.

I think at one time he did have feelings for her and I have little doubt (without knowing her personally) that she loved him and her feelings were real. All MO of course.

Now, I don't think he has feelings for her now and I think he is a sick little 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. JMO

They are ordering lunch for the jury, Judge is asking for special diet needs, wants to cut lunch to 45 mins.

I still think all the calling from HE's phone to SM's phone was S calling T, all while HE was incapacated to some degree. He thought it would look like HE trying to contact him, and he could put the blame on her.

Next Witness, Ford Employee named Devin Soles.

Nov 8, 2013 SM traded in 2010 white truck for black F-150 limited. Talking about the HID headlights, new in 2013 and in higher model trucks.

Im thinking more and more now about these timelines in this part below and thinking that Heather may have been killed much earlier than the landing and maybe SM+TM were working together.

For some of the calls from her phone to SM at his house, that may have been SM using heathers phone at her apartment and calling TM back at the house to get the phone records setup to make it look like HE made the calls.

Its very confusing but one thing we do know is SM was using the pay phone and so that shows he was planning about how the phones would look to investigators.

Im not convinced HE made any of these calls from this point below on. She may have not even driven her car to the landing.

2:42 - 2:56 am - HE's phone was pinged at Longbeard's Restaurant, in the Carolina Forest area (according to GPS records). Four additional calls were placed to the pay phone during this time (not sure if that includes the 9 above)
~2:57 - 3:01 am - HE's phone pinged from Longbeard's Restaurant to Augusta Plantation Drive and back (according to GSP records)
~3:02 - 3:15 am - Fifteen GPS records indicated HE's phone was back in the area of Longbeard's. Two more calls were placed to the pay phone.
~3:16 - 3:19 am - HE's phone went from Longbeard's back to her residence. Two calls were placed to the SM's phone.
3:16am: Heather tried to call SM's cell phone, no answer
3:17am: Heather called SM's cell phone and spoke with someone for 4.15 minutes; (Phone pings place HE’s phone at her house & SM’s phone at his house)
~3:20 - 3:24 am - HE's phone remained at her residence.
~3:21 am – HE drives to Peachtree Landing @ 6699 State Rd S-26-611
~3:25 - 3:35 am - HE's phone moved from her residence on White River Drive to the Peachtree Boat

I think she got in the truck with him and he took her to his house and made her take the preggers test. From here is where TM comes in to this. Or TM was with him. She wanted this settled.

Ford F150 HID headlights were started to be used by Ford in 2013!

The will preclude all other black Ford F150 trucks if they didn't have the same headlights (because SM's did)

Remember, this crime occurred Dec 2013.

Yep, 'ol Sid wanted it to all go away. He used Heather for one thing.

Next witness the "long" one. Judge is letting everyone stretch for lunch, not leaving the building. Meet back at 1:30. Don't discuss case or deliberate yet.

Do we know who next witness is?

WMBF News

The next witness is Devon Soles, who is a car salesman at Beach Ford. He testified that Sidney Moorer purchased a black four-door Ford F150 truck on Nov. 8, 2013.

The witness is quickly excused from the stand. The court is going into recess for lunch. Court will resume at 1:30.

I want to know why her condo door was left unlocked.

Me too. Was it a key issue? Maybe Bri didn't have time to get one made for her before she left for FL? Idk, I can't help but think about how the Defense is so sure of their case. It makes me think they're over xonfident for some reason. When pairing that with the apartment door being unlocked when detectives got there, it makes me wonder if the Defense will suggest a stranger was in her apartment or something. I seem to remember a stalking incident at or near their residence, plus break-ins in that area. It just makes me wonder if Heather had a key to that apartment or not. I mean, surely if there was no sign of breaking or entering then the door was unlocked the whole time, or no? If somebody, a stranger, actually broke into the apartment, or entered it without being invited, then wouldn't they have locked the door upon leaving soas to throw off investigators? Whereas SM may have known if there was a key or not, bc of his intimate relationship with Heather, therefore if there wasn't a key then maybe he'd have left it unlocked bc that's what Heather would have done.
