My former husband was an expert witness in civil matters (large construction projects). He said it wasn't really fun. Lots of time spent in hotel rooms preparing to testify and flying out as soon as his testimony was done.

The next witness is Grant Fredericks, a forensic video analyst.

The witness said he is a contract instructor at the FBI's national academy, a position he has had since 1998.

Fredericks did a report, where he compared the truck in this case and looked at headlight spread patterns.

The witness said his analysis also looked at all features of the vehicle, such as its shape, reflections off of it and headlights.

Surveillance footage from locations off S.C. 814 and Mill Pond Road was examined, the witness testified. The jurors saw that footage on Tuesday and visited the locations Wednesday morning.

Fredericks told the jury he examined 11 trucks to compare them to the "questioned vehicle," which is the one seen in the surveillance footage.

Those trucks included Chevrolet and Dodge models.

Fredericks testified the "questioned vehicle" is the same in the surveillance footage from both locations. The "known vehicle" in the case is a Ford F150.

I was talking about the calls to the pay phone.

The short calls were to the pay phone so I don't think voice mail would have happened but maybe the calls would not go through because it was a pay phone number. Maybe there is certain restrictions when dialing a pay phone number from your cell phone.

Or maybe it was a signal to TM who was hiding nearby. Like when you hear phone ring 4 times go to the house. Deed is done.

I need to digest more and think about all the testimony and evidence later.

Ooooh the headlights were switched out/changed on SM's truck after HE's disappearance!

But police were able to get images of the truck BEFORE those headlights were changed out because police had possession of SM's truck for awhile. THEN those headlights mysteriously were changed out!

Take a peek at the Christina Morris kidnapping. Even a tighter timeline. She knew her kidnapper too. It happens fast when they aren't expecting it, IMO.

I don't have a tablet or smart phone. Call me paeleolithic in my technology. I am having a very difficult time following the board and the trial because of this. I need to get the ads blocked. Windows 10 is my problem with Edge browser. I need to get a different browser going.

I have chrome and it's no better. This site is almost unreadable if you have Windows 10 because of ads. Phone is much better.

I would love to know when they did that? After they realized that these experts were reviewing...
