I agree. I think she was killed between 2:42 and 2:56 AM (14 minutes) while her phone pinged at the restaurant. SM drove her car to Augusta Plantation Drive and back to the restaurant, probably in a bit of a panic after he killed her or perhaps he was afraid someone driving by had noticed the car at the restaurant. He tried to call TM, who was supposed to be waiting at the payphone, no answer. Then he realized he needed to get something of HE's at her apartment, or needed to find something to help in hiding her body, so he drove her car to the apartment. From there, he used HE's phone and reached TM (who had his phone). He drove to PTL to meet TM, left the car, and got into the truck with TM.

All this said, it's possible it was TM who did the dirty deed. Perhaps she went to the restaurant and surprised HE, who was expecting SM. TM killed HE and it was her using HE's phone to get in touch with SM.

Does any of that make sense? Did I miss some facts that make that impossible?

Or to wipe down prints at her house ...and left door open on purpose?

Again.. overwhelmed here

I have to download another browser, one that AdBloc works with. There's no compatible version for my browser. DH/Tech checked it all out during lunch. He'll fix it when he has time. Meanwhile... suffering!

But she was calling the pay phone while at Long Beard's. The M's would not have done that. I hope the State has a scenario that puts it all together.
If SM thought TM was waiting by the payphone for the call, cause they didn't want to use their phones....But maybe TM got impatient waiting, S wasn't making it happen fast enough, They thought no one would know it was they on the payphone, but, we know better right?
All MOO

I've always wondered why she thought he'd be standing at a pay phone. Did he tell her it was some other phone? Did he tell her he'd wait to hear back from her?

We may never really know what they talked about and who knows how much BW really knows. I can see HE not wanting to tell BW that she was going to meet him.

So much of what's missing here is the part of the story that explains all of her driving around, returning to her apt, and deciding to call his cell.
I can't wait to hear what Bri has to say, it's going to answer some questions for us, for sure!

LE may have removed the headlights during their investigation. Did the M's ever get the truck back?

  • #389
Original headilghts had been removed but then at some point put back on. That changes the angles of the lights, makes the patterns different to this expert.

Yes the M's got the truck back. No, I don't know when.

I was able to turn off the volume of the ads on just my forum tab and have the court video on the other tab .. can't hear the ads play but can keep up with the chat as I listen/watch the trial .. just right click on the tab at the top of browser and click mute tab :) another poster posted this tip and it helped me !

They're talking about the tool box now.

If TM was standing at the payphone waiting for his call, from HE cell phone, two things wouldn't add up. First, she'd have been caught on that same video waiting. Secondly, she would have actually ANSWERED rather than all of those missed calls.

Iirc way back they stop incoming calls on many pay phones because of drug usage etc. I just Googled it and it looks like it stopped for many in the late 1990s

Geez Louise, they changed out the headlights? What a bold move on top of everything else they have done. IMO

I have windows 10 and use IE. It was driving me crazy too. I was told try ad block and that stopped them.

Out of 14,000 vehicles only 1 matched the known vehicle and it was the question vehicle from Dec 18th. AKA SM/TM truck.

  • #398
Out of 14,000 vehicles this expert watched on the surveillance there was only ONE that matched the known vehicle (the defendant's truck).

  • #399
This witness seems to know what he is talking about. He is coming across very credible.

Wish all witnesses were this clear for jurors.

What? You mean not everyone changes out the headlights on their vehicles now and again just for the heck of it?
