Misty 2/9/2010 jail video tapes - the anniversary of Haleigh's disappearance

Seems to me Hank Sr does indeed realize Mr. Fields' value. Misty, has her own little world called "ME" and could care less. I have not seen her express any gratitude for anything - just more demands.
& her mom too!!!! If Misty was my daughter, I'd tell her to tell her lawyer EVERYTHING, & not to say another word, without his permission. But if Misty was my daughter, I would've strangled the truth out of her, long before jail. I seriously don't see how Lisa has kept from punching her lieing face.

Her father asked her even more about Haleigh. "I pray for Haleigh too," said her father. "Yeah I do too. All day everyday," said Misty. "Poor little girl. I miss her too," said Misty's dad. "God's going to bring her home," said Misty. "You think she can come home?" "Of course dad." "This has gotta get over with Misty," said her father. "I know daddy. I want this to be over I don't want to live like this."
The bolded part really upset me, why is she only thinking of herself? If Haleigh is still alive I would imagine that she doesn't want to live like this anymore either.

Sorry Kim for my earlier post. I got a little hot about this.

"I pray for Haleigh too," said her father. "Yeah I do too. All day everyday," said Misty.Hmmmmmmmmmmm was she praying as she was buying selling and taking drugs. That sentence was said IMO for the tv cameras.Misty's tears and prayers are for Misty she never looked so bad or cried so hard for Haleigh. Is It just me or does Misty resemble Dr.Seuse When she cry's not poking fun just an observation.

I'm not sure he really wants to work. Earlier in a video he told Misty his unemployment was about to run out, so he guessed he would need to find a job. Good ol' Hank, take the unemployment checks as long as they will last before deciding he needs to find a job. BUT I am feeling more and more that his comments on the video tapes (coached by LE or LP) are more to do with his future court dealings, rather than finding a job or public image. I do think he sincerely loves his kids, but I think most of his comments are driven by the possibility a judge will see he's 'trying to help' and go easy on him.

I agree and to me it seems real funny after his whole family has been arrested some many times now all of a sudden he asks Misty to tell the truth. He just wants the spot light taken off him and his thieving druggy family.IMO they all have lived this way their whole lives but stayed under LE's radar till Haleigh went missing.A couple who has stayed together as long as they have should at least have something to show for it if they worked and lived an honest life.

Wonder why Ron's jailhouse calls and visits are so scarce? Hmm...

Not that I disagree with you but I do think it's quite possible that he's asked Misty to tell the truth a thousand times before this; Misty just never listened to him before (and she won't do it now either).

I don't think Fields missed it - letter to Cease and Desist followed shortly after the release of these videos. He is trying to help his client but obviously she does not recognize how hard he is trying.
I'm wondering just how long he'll continue to represent her, if she defies his advice. MOO

Maybe because he knows they're going to be available to the public? Just my :twocents:.

She runs the house and runs the family. I don't know how that came about, but it did. They jump when she says frog. They act like they are afraid of her. ("I will baby, I promise, I know, OK baby, I will, right away, I promise I will, don't worry) in the same voice I use with an aggressive dog I meet on my walk.

Actually, this situation is not that unusual in a family with one younger female child and an indulgent, easy going mother. Father adores his only daughter, and the sons learn from the father. It takes a strong alpha female to keep the little filly in her place.

I have a pretty good feeling they will jump because she has also been supplying them with most of their pills since she hooked up with RC.

I have been saying this for days...Misty has given no indication that she dose not want LP help. She wants out even if it means getting rid of RF. For all we know Misty may of called LP by now...

We always have to keep in mind the date of the videos and then catch up with the news articles regarding the latest. On Levi's show last night, Leonard stated he never called Misty nor did Misty call Leonard. So then from 2/9/10 jailhouse visitation to 2/21/10, Leonard and Misty never spoke to each other.

We also have the fact that Misty's attorney represented Misty in court the other day.

Maybe TN or GGMS knows he can't control himself and he will say things that make him look like a dumb@ss! Dirty drawers, soapy armpits... and nothin' about Haleigh unless prompted.

I want to know who all those people are on Misty's phone call list!! And, of course, is she actually calling... :)

Why does NG keep calling it a bombshell that Misty is saying in the jailhouse tapes that she thinks or hopes that God will bring Haleigh home but she's not 100 % sure?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MISTY CROSLIN: That`s all we can do is pray to God because he`s the only one, you know? It`s got to be his time. In his time, he`ll do it.

HANK CROSLIN: You think she can come home?

MISTY CROSLIN: Of course, Dad.

HANK CROSLIN: I hope and pray to God she does.

MISTY CROSLIN: Me too. I mean, I can`t tell you by definitely because, you know, I can`t say, you know, 100 percent, but God hasn`t gave me that sign.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Did you hear that? Did you hear that, Art Harris? I can`t say 100 percent she`s coming home. And see, that`s not the attitude she had at the very beginning, when the searches were ongoing and this was all fresh in everyone`s mind, the little 5-year-old girl with Turner syndrome was gone, vanished out of her own bed in the middle of the night.

"That's not the attitude she had at the very beginning..." ? Did Misty say at some point that she's 100 % sure that Haleigh is/is not coming home? I don't recall her saying anything about the possibilities one way or another but Ronald had written "God will deliver Daddy's little girl Haleigh home" on his truck windshield early on so it's a common thought.

I don't understand Nancy's point, because she's acting like Misty's attitude proves something but I don't get what it's supposed to prove. Wouldn't anybody be wishful that God would bring Haleigh home but after a year has gone by very few people could be 100 % sure.

NG does tend take what she wants to hear from these tapes, as we all know...
and as far as "bombshell" goes...well we've gone over that :)

She certainly seemed to miss the fact that it was the 5th wheel that was negotiating for Roxies.

Maybe my brain is fried between the Caylee and Haleigh case,,,but didn't CA ask the same from Casey...."Do you think Caylee will be able to come home"?,,,,,,,,This sounded so familiar...
