IMO, this could be a new attempt at covering arse. Since it has recently become MORE apparent and hitting headline news that Misty is deceptive and LE is focusing on her, maybe damage control is kicking in. To me in order to explain RCs recent tossing of MC under the bus, his recent confession of the made bed that MC never slept in, could be a new plan of attack. Misty now knows LE is on to her like white on rice due to conflicting evidence. To cover arse now, as all of their stories have changed to do so, could be that they are going to attempt to use the Misty was not home thing, and then Haleigh was abducted. That would place a child endangerment charge on MC and still help to cover arse for everything else. IMO, this, in their minds, would help to save face again as they have habit of changing stories as needed to protect themselves, when caught in lies. Basically, it could be a way to cover all of the lies that Misty has been caught with, due to confirmed evidence........IMO, from what I have seen, this has been their method of operating from the jump......jmooc

Not to mention that after the incident at AS's house--Ron was quoted as stating that LE should have spent more time on the people in Baker County. :waitasec: He really is sending off mixed signals...

Yes, I have noticed several public appearences with Misty wearing either long sleeves or a sweater. Take the image on First Coast News with GGS, Sikes was wearing a tank top and Misty was in yet another "long sleeved top" (black). The only time we saw her recently wearing a short sleeved shirt was at Sikes trailor during the balloon release.....could this mean that when she's in public, she's hiding something on her arms? Or is she just cold? IDK

I thought there were three blankets - two in the wash and one on JR, Haleigh was covered with a sheet until blanket was done. Heck I don't know anymore lol.

Hi Busy! Don't forget the one in the van, which was the reason that one of the two had to be washed, b/c she took it off the window.

Some things on my mind and mainly about the marriage.

I wanted to believe in that past about what RC said to Cobra about "keeping his enemies close" and yet Misty refused to do the reinactment Cobra set up. Ronald is known to carry gun, Ronald got into a fight with her family, to protect her>? I now rethink that and have caution on what to say regarding it.

But as far as the marriage......he didnt need to marry her to keep her close. If Misty is the key as LE says she is and LE also knows every move they all make etc etc. If Misty wanted to leave LE has ways to track people and keep tabs on them. AND IMHO, say Ronald didnt marry her, say they broke up.....Misty would have been out partying etc and hanging out with whomever and would have blabbed somechit to somebody! Don't we think? I think she would have blabbed something or carried on with her partying lifestyle.......with the marriage to Ron, she really didnt have a lot of public freedom imo.

And I also wanted to say, I think TN did a smart move pulling TES into this......I think TM did a smart move by releasing the results......that puts pressure on.........puts pressure on all sides, including LE! So that leads me to think that TN is in a heartbreaking situaion. And as far as my opinion of the family dianamics.....it wouldnt surprise me at all if the GreatGrandma is somehow involved and TN is not. But that is soon to tell.

Just brainstorming. I'm glad that TES had a set enough to tell the media. LE sure kept all that under their lid, and I want to know WHY? They wasted months of our time fighting here. MOO

thanks, I didnt see her in those releases. I guess she's just a strange dresser. And of course, some folks with tiny bodies (unlike myself) dont have to worry about sweating like a pig on warm august days. :crazy:

The marriage may have had nothing to do with Haleigh and could as was stated earlier just have had to do with the stat rape issue....I am starting to agree with you about TN--she really might be trying to do the right thing finally....

So, i wonder if MC is still staying with RC and GGM. Since MC is now aware, that they don't believe what she is saying. I am thinking that if, MC is still there and all of them are getting along just fine, no tension in the home, that tells me that there are others involved that live in that home, with the exclusion of JR, of course.

Could be when she wrote the letter, she had her attny's business card on her and also had a document nearby which she had to sign prior to testing regarding TM arranged poly she was agreeing to.
We don't know where she wrote this but my guess from the context is, Tim Miller made sure she documented her willingness to be tested in her own writing in addition to whatever kind of standard acknowledgement one has to sign off on when being tested. Yet, her attny later said she told him Tim told her if she didn't take the test, he wouldn't help in the search.

Read line 2 into 3- " attorney name Robert Fields. He told me not to take this polygraph. I am taking it anyway. I am ?giving? xxxxx xxxxx. I want to clear my name."

That makes alot of sense - thanks FifthEssense, I knew someone here could help make sense out of it!

Hope there'll be an arrest by the time I get home today - and better yet, I hope HaLeigh will be found!

I just wanted to say something so off topic to folks. I just got emotional as heck here. Have you? I'm crying my eyes out and I cant even explain why. Like some of the posts Im reading, we are now rethinking everything and there is some confusion.....which is caused many to go back to take another look at statements and scratching our heads. This is heartbreaking. Im confused too. I never wanted to be right. I couldnt help all those times my intution caused me to question things......these players in this case has gotten everything so screwed up, like nothing Ive ever seen before. Just when you think you kow it, heard it or seen it all, then comes in TES with this. NOW what is going to happen next. Im racking my brain, TN writes to MN & TES, they get involved and then these media reports of failed lie det. tests across the board on Mistys part. O-M-G!!!
That poor baby girl. I feel just awful for what I thought and still think. And the other thing is, are we ready for the truth here? My heart is lumped up in my throat.

I think LE used the words satisified with regards to the first lie detector test and that was taken by RC and Misty as they had passed them. AMW is quoted as saying that LE says they are satisified with RC and Misty lied detector test.

I so am on this page with you. The only one I think is out of the loop is TN. The rest of the bunch may know more. But we still have to get passed all the wonderful things TN & GGS said about Misty. They put her up on such high regards. Wonder what they will say now? Thats a good question.

I cried on and off all day yesterday. I had to get offline because I was too emotional. This poor baby is prob dead and I just get heartsick thinking how tiny and defenseless she was....she never hurt anyone...never asked for this...and only wanted to be loved in a safe, healthy way. Who hurt this baby? I pray that person never gets a night of sleep without terrifying and tormenting nightmares and the cold terrors strike them by day. That little baby deserved life, love and happiness.

Actually, I believe that's how Ron got custody in the first place. The TRUE MOTHER, Crystal, wasn't vindictive in wanting to keep the children away from their father. When she allowed them to go on a trip/job/whatever with him, HE never gave them back.

In my opinion, Crystal, whatever her faults is a TRUE, LOVING MOTHER and I pray for her every day that she will get her children back safe and sound.

Not being snarky, but come on. The "true, loving mother" lost her children because she wasn't caring for them properly. She herself admitted not taking Haleigh to her doctor's appointments, blaming that on Ron. It's ALL his fault. Oh please. If your kid needs to see a doctor, you find a way to get them there. End of story. I seem to recall in the beginning of the case, this "non-vindictive" "true mother" trying hiring an attorney and creating a big diversion during a time when all focus should have been on finding Haleigh. I'm not juding her or bashing her. I'm just saying, let's not cannonize the woman just yet.

Can RC support him? Does he have a job...a home of his own...a wife that did not have culpability in the crime involving baby sister? Does Dad have an issue with violence, headless ratgate??? Who is a better fit to raise that baby?

I believe that Crystal has grown up a lot since all that. She was woman enough to admit her mistakes, and is now doing the best she can. She IS a "true, loving mother"... no doubt in my mind.
