Yes it was mentioned numerous times that they wanted to follow the rest of their family out of Satsuma because of Haleigh going missing, No one would hire Hank jr, perhaps if he laid off the drugs he might have a better chance getting a job, had to add imo. But, far be it for me to drift off topic. There are many article's over at Art H about the Croslin's moving.

Looks like MC kept her birthday party under wraps........quiet.
Lawyers must of said "you are a legal ADULT now!'

Actually they are the only family that moved away and were not brought back. Lisa Croslin and Hank SR tried moving to Tennessee and they were dragged back, remember Hank Sr's interview with Art Harris about trying to get the money to bail out his wife for the check charges? Same with Tommy and Lyndsy, they left too, but now they are back and will probably be in Satsuma until a judge gives them permission to leave the state, I don't think that is going to happen.

The second part is not what you said in the first part. You said definitively that they HAD left and are now BACK. Pardon my confusion. If they move to MA with Timmy and Chelsea, do you imagine Misty will leave, too? I guess it'll have to wait until the various family members appear in court, for their various charges, including her ex-husband. Will she ever be implicated in ratgate?

I don't know. I just don't honestly see where MC turning 18 is going to make any difference at all. I mean, she's been a legal adult ever since she got married.

I guess maybe now she'll be able to buy her cigs herself instead of having somebody else do it.:waitasec:

To Misty,

I realize you think that LE should be looking elsewhere for answers, but if you are innocent of anything having to do with Haleigh disapperance, then you need to clear youself. GO IN AND TALK TO LE! CLEAR YOURSELF AND LET LE FOCUS IN ANOTHER DIRECTION. MAKE THEM PUBLICALLY RETRACT THEIR STATEMENTS ABOUT YOU BEING THE 'KEY' IN THIS CASE.

If you're not innocent, it will come back on you eventually and you'll get what your deserve. Karma is a b****.

I did say they had left, because I believe they did go to Tennessee for a time and now they are back. I thought I had read that somewhere, possibly over at AH's site, honestly it could have been 2 other places but does it really matter? I truly believe that the Croslin family had no intention of remaining in Satsuma for very long. I truly believe that one or several of them know what happened to Haleigh on February 9th/ early morning 10th. I often get the two Croslin brothers and their wives mixed up, but for your sake I will try to keep them straight from here on out.

You bring up the rat in the mailbox incident, could you please post exactly how Ronald was linked to that? I must have missed it. TIA

A police report was filed with witness testimony stating that Ronald was driving the truck with someone (Misty's name was determined to be under the blacked out area, but hey. up to interpretation, right?) else.

elle..I would say Ron C linked himself to RATGATE when he told Tim Miller and Mark NeJames he had put the rat in the mailbox..
Not to be rude but how much proof do you want that he was the one who did it?

Also, you said...Same with Tommy and Lyndsy, they left too, but now they are back and will probably be in Satsuma until a judge gives them permission to leave the state, I don't think that is going to happen.

Tommy and Lindsey never left although I'm certain they wanted to leave.. Wouldn't you want out of Satsuma if you were being intimidated and threatened by a sister and her husband who you know is responsible for a child's disappearance?

IMHO the subject is not up for interpretation especially when Ron C admitted he was the one who put the rat there and also says he took Misty along for the ride to see how well she could lie to LE...And thats exactly what he told TM and MN.
Thats ALL BS..Just another twist in the game..Once again, him playing two ends against the middle...Lying to everyone so he is never held responsible for his actions..JMO

No, I wouldn't want out of Satsuma, what I would want is the truth and some some justice, I wouldn't be able to pack up my belongings and move off to another state and forget that a little girl is missing back in the town I was from. But that is just me.

Elle, you only asked for a connection. There is a legitimate police report, regardless of charges, linking Ronald Cummings (and Misty) to Ratgate. Misty's name is clearly visible in spots on that report, which has been posted. Perhaps they're waiting til Misty is 18 to charge her in the participation of THAT! I wonder how that would work?

"Misty, we have a warrant for your arrest for suspicion of witness intimidation and tampering." But she was a minor when she committed the act, could the arrest be made public? Oh, this is a tangled case.

  • #173
Yes, thank you debs, so you believe they would charge Misty with her participation in the rat incident but not RC?

I dunno. But she was as identified as he was.......maybe they're waiting until she had her birthday to make a charge? I don't even know how the law works in such a case as that. Purely a curious question at this point.

Yeah, if rc didn't have an appetite for a young girl that looked 12, this mess would be easier. Before anyone jumps on me...she did LOOK 12 when we first saw her, but she was 16 when he started his relationship with her.

Yes, she was with rc concernig ratgate, she was listed as a juvenile at 110 lbs.

So why are all these people saying she is a legal adult since she got married....NOPE...she retained all her rights as a juvenile, regardless of her marital status...d@#m shame too.

  • #176
Well, if she is questioned again, Kimster, she can't go complaining to another officer that "that guy was rude to me".....hey, at least it's a start!

BBM..I feel as you do but we have to taken into consideration we are dealing with a whole lot of dysfunction in ALL the families involved in this case.. I'll venture to say all their actions have been motivated by FEAR...Doubt any of them have ever entertained the thought that LOVE is a verb, and not a noun..JMO

I probably should have been specific and said, 'emancipated minor,' but honestly in everything I've read (including FL statutes regarding emancipation) an emancipated minor is treated as person who has reached the age of majority (18) and she wouldn't retain any of her 'rights as a juvenile.' Legally she couldn't vote or drink alcohol, but she can hold property, enter into contracts, sue and be sued.
The only way that she should have been treated as a minor was if the Florida courts revoked her emancipated status.

...but as with everything in this case there seems to be no linear thinking or logic to how anything is treated.

Anyhoo, she's 18 now and I still think she needs to go in and spill her guts to LE.

  • #179
IMHO. She should have spilled her guts on February 9th, 2009 instead of making up lies about what she claims happened on February 9, 2009 which was exactly 10 months ago today...JMO

I don't know Gotarug because it was clearly she involved in Ratgate and LE detacted all her info on report, so I was assuming in a court of law, she was a minor.
