Was Misty with someone that brought her back to the house and finding Haleigh, something happened, who would have helped her take Haleigh out of the house?Or when she left,Haleigh took off the pink shirt she had on the day for school, put it in the dirtyclothes basket, they say she was a little mommy. So,whoever helped Haleigh, took her out wrapped in a blanket,Misty never saw that Haleigh had changed her clothes.I don't think Misty staged the scene herself, but someone else helped her.

Here’s a rather unique technique to detect lies by reading eye body language.

If you ask a question to a right-handed person, and he looks to the left in an upward direction, that means he is thinking or “visually constructing” an image in his mind. If he looks to the right in an upward direction, he is recalling or “visually remembering” something that actually happened.

So let’s say you ask him, “Where were you when the child fell down?” If he looks up to the left, he might be making up a story to cover the real incident. If he looks up to the right, he might be recalling what actually happened (in reality).

This method may help you determine if you want to accept their explanation or not, while also taking into account other factors.

Note that the meaning of these eye directions would have the reverse interpretation for a left-handed person.

Remember also that you should not solely rely on reading eye body language to detect lies. It’s better if you combine it with your assessment of other body language signals for a more accurate interpretation.

Does anyone know why Misty changed pronouns in this quote? Bolded by me.

"I couldn't tell you anything about him," a distraught Neves told reporters Friday, adding that she only knew of the cousin by his first name Joe. "I can't tell you how they could have taken her from a family that absolutely adores her."

"They" also coincides with the "they" took the blanket in the van.

You guys know the video interview where Ron just out of the blue says "Ill take the trash out when its time"? It seemed so odd and seemingly had nothing to do with the interview....I just watched the GVS interview again and Misty talks about how they "sometimes" take the trash out the back door. Wonder if the two statement are connected somehow? Seems to be a lot of "trash " talk going on for it not to mean anything...maybe someone should be checking into what day their trash is picked up????

On GR, they said something about Haleigh being wrapped in a blanket? Am I correct? I didn't hear what they said - can anyone clarify for me? Thanks!

And this regarding eye movement.

According to the experts whenever we look to the left we are recalling information and to the right we construct. Something that must be taken into account is the fact that a small percentage of usually left-handed people are wired in the opposite way. Psychologists will often perform some kind of calibration before examining a client by asking leading questions to learn how their eyes behave.

Try the following: Ask yourself what colour your car is and take notice which direction your eyes are looking.

Up: Looking up (whether to the left or right) is the visual area. E.g. remembering car colours (up-left) or making them up (up-right).

When we recall visual information we look diagonally up to the left. On the other hand, when we look up to the right we are constructing visual information. Both visual and auditory construction have often been mislabeled as lying; this is only half true. Up to the right indicates they're making things up but does not mean lying necessarily as they may be guessing or confused and not actually intending to deceive. Looking directly right means possibly constructing sentences - ie telling the truth but not sure how to word it. As you can see lying is not as black and white as someone just looking diagonally up right or directly right.

It has more recently been discovered that people close their eyes briefly before giving a false answer.

ETA: I don't know how reliable this site is.

I went to to a three day seminar on this once and there's actually a bit more to it than that. Yes, we look up when we are recalling information. But the side-to-side also depends on whether we are visual, audio, or kenetic people. Most people are visual. Looking down can mean they are pulling up their emotions.

Yes, being right or left handed is also a factor in reading eye language.

I took it to mean the 'trashy person or people' who may have Haleigh.

"I know someone took my little girl. A sorry piece of trash that will be wasted when it's all over.

I wish they would go ahead and name her as a POI, if in fact she is in LE's eyes. They need to move this case forward.

I agree, and you know she is loving it right now that the focus in the media has turned to Ron and Crystal! I am not buying it at all.

yep, another reference to trash. I dont agree with above poster that Rons comment about taking out the trash had anything to do with who took his kid. It seems like he was out of it at the time and he distinctly said "Ill take out the trash when its time"...like a man does when hes being nagged about taking out the trash!

At this point, I'm just not getting vibes that she had anything to do with taking Haleigh or hurting her, but facts are sparse at this point and vibes not fool proof. This seems like an non 'family' acquaintence/stranger abduction to me. Not sayin' that Misty was a paragon of motherhood, or even babysitterhood, but no barely 17 year-old should have to be. She shouldn't have been in 25 year-old Ron's bed, or responsible for his home and his children. She should have been in school, studying, becoming her own person, planning for and working toward a life in which she was prepared to take care of herself and others. In many ways, Misty's a victim too of this whole lifestyle which is apparently accepted in her community. I hope to God that little Haleigh's ok. That's the most important hope. But Misty should have never been in the position she was. I also hope for the families and communities of teenaged girls to see that as well and to lead their daughters far away from such dead-end and destructive paths.

Sad situation all around. She never should have placed herself in a situation where she increased the burden on herself and on the children.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I mean, asking someone for their numeric house number isn't a question with a high degree of difficulty. Not even under the most stressful situation. Numeric is a fairly common word and it is sad that she didn't know what it meant.

I agree.. nicely said ^^^ yolorado and concentric

This is just a thought (and I'm not sure if it has been mentioned before - it probably has) but you know how some times people are bullied at home so they take it out on someone else "below them" (my friend's boss - a woman - is bullied at home by her husband so she comes to work and takes it out on everyone - so they say, I don't know from my own experience) could Misty have taken her frustrations out on Haleigh while Ron was away? She said her blanket smelled like pee so she washed it.. maybe that threw her over the edge?

This is what I'm leaning towards....I think the blanket, the mention of washing it, and Misty saying on national television that "she peed on it, I think" has me stuck right there. I think it all fits together somehow.

The way the dispatcher said it would have thrown me off. It isn't that I don't know what numeric means, rather I wouldn't understand what the dispatcher was asking for when she said "What's the numeric?"
I have never had anyone ask for my address or house number that way before. It was an unusual way to phrase it, and I think that is what confused Misty.

Me too. I could see her taking it out on Haleigh, sadly.

Sadly, this type of scenario happens every day. I hit a wall with this theory when I consider that LE hasn't found Haleigh yet. Could Misty have done something with Haleigh without leaving drag marks or similar evidence?

Yes yes to both comments above. She shouldn't be put in that position in the first place, and she should have taken herself out of it, or not have gotten into it in the first place. Her parents should have told her to come home, but also, she is old enough to know herself that she didn't belong in that trailer taking care of two kids.

I think it would have been extremely hard not to leave evidence - it is just so strange how they are out of clues (as far as we know).
