I'm sure LE has probably spoken to her, but I agree that the media should leave her and the baby alone. What if, on the slim chance, that someone does have a grudge against Ron and goes after his other children. Bio mom Crystal didn't seem worried about that enough to be speaking out on Geraldo though.

I'd bet Misty goes to her parents house at night, because the heat is on with their living situation, people think charges should be filed, etc..So Misty probably goes home for the night. From what I saw on the news, Ron is camped across the street from Mistys parents house anyway, so..

That's how I feel - if Misty didn't have help and she DID do something to Haleigh, they should have found her body by now. If she had help covering it up, well then it's plausible they haven't found her body yet.

That is the ONLY thing about the Misty theory - I feel like if she DID do harm to Haleigh then they would have found a body by now. jmo

I'm with you and Nancy Grace on this one. She couldn't be putting on LE all this time, she's complied with everything, she's no Susan Smith cause she "glances sideways and down" gimme a break! If those kids bugged her, she'd have no reason not to just get up and walk away, except for Ron, and if there were abuse going, the younger brother would have said something by now to implicate her.

I have given some thought to Misty's situation. I do understand the uproar about her living with a man that age when she is considered a minor by Law.

Here are my concerns following that line. What in the world were her Mother and/or Father doing? Surely if your minor child chooses to move in with a man much older than her there are legal avenues that can be taken on behalf of a minor child?

I think we should explore the root of the problem as well. The root being that a Minor child was allowed to move into a grown man's home.

I think we might want to explore if she had become legally emacipated.

FWIW, if LE is going to charge RC for inappropriate relations or a felony. Then they should IMHO charge her parents with appropriate charges too.

Just my two cents.

Wouldn't it be strange if she was just telling the truth?
I mean, who cares what the reason is WHY she woke up? Sometimes I just wake up and as a consequence to that, I go to the bathroom AND get something to drink. What does it matter? If she woke up, she woke up.
She could have drank a little before bed - wine or something while cleaning. She could have smoked some pot perhaps and thats why she's foggy. Also she could just be a nervous 17 year old girl.

If Junior woke up, what did he see? When my daughter was 4, she'd get up to use the bathroom and go back to bed without me telling her. She'd do it while I was asleep or barely even awake, I'd hear her. She knew to go back to bed.

AND if she is telling the truth, that actually means somebody came in the house and took Haleigh. That somehow the back door became unlocked and somebody came in the house while she was asleep and took her. Scary.:twocents:

Oh my...last night I was actually embarrassed FOR NG about her behavior...I was very put off by her last night...quite nasty and immature. I changed the channel so that her "viewership" # went down....maybe they'll get the point if enough people change the channel after she's shown her behind!! I used to love her =(

Hi scrabble, about Nancy grace, I think she does each show every night as if it is the first night she covers a case. I really feel she does this on purpose for those viewers who might be just tuning in. Of course it is difficult for those of us that follow these cases like our lives depend on the outcome...lol...but I give her the benefit of the doubt most nights because she does after all keep these little ones in the public eye and that is really important.

As far as her getting nasty, well, I am not sure I would be able to stomach all these sad stories about children as long as she has. I remember when she was on court tv and bragged upon for her fierce prosecution style, she really does know the law though and I see her sometimes trying to bait the talking heads on the show with trick questions just to trip them up on the law. Believe it or not many of the guests she hollers at she holds great respect for and you can sometimes see a little twinkle in her eye when they battle.

Any hoot, you are right she has changed a lot....and I notice it most since she had her kids. Sometimes motherhood will do strange things...

I have a feeling Misty's mother may be suffering from drug abuse. I, personally can see the signs on her face and body. I would bet they are dealing with their own demons, and her dad just had surgery, so add that to the mix. They were probably glad she had a roof over her head, and I feel sure they thought Ron would protect her if anything went wrong. To this family, used to having kids at a young age, etc..Misty was all grown up to them. IMO

I think that all depends on exactly what information Junior gave the LE team that worked with him.

That is true, however, I understood they did that in the beginning..yet still kept going back to Misty and questioning and giving her other polygraph tests..
They still continue going back to her.
