Misty Failed Polygraph Test

I'm trying to remember but didnt she say a long time ago the police said she passed the polygraph? I was pretty surprised cause I didnt think they usually told people the results.

My thoughts are that if she is indeed lying, the police who are handling the investigation would have put more pressure on her long ago. Not sure why this independent polygrapher was brought in and I feel it is a ruse. Not sure what this guy's qualifications are but I still find Misty credible in the interview/voice test I just viewed.

Yeah, me. Was very surprised when I read about these results yesterday. The thing that surprises me today is, I just can't seem to make myself believe that Misty really does know the answer to these things. Or that she was involved in Haleigh's abduction, or even helped cover up.

Just the other day, I heard (on NG?) Jenkins' mom crying, saying he was innocent, and was thinking ~ it's just amazing how family members can be in total denial about things that are so obvious to everyone else.

And yet, within about half an hour after hearing this news about Misty, I'd managed to come up with what seems to me a reasonable explanation for how she could flunk these tests and still be innocent.

Misty, Ron, et al, are not like any kinfolk of mine or any friend I've ever had. They're exactly the kind of people I can't relate to at all and never want to know. So, common sense should make me believe what is apparently obvious to everyone else here. Just don't understand why I can't.

I want you all to remember a case that has just been brought to surface and that is of Jaycee Lee Dugard. If you read any past message boards you would see that both her parents were crucified with ridiculous statements saying they sold her into prostitution to pay off drug debts. The step father was constantly suspected of having murdered his step daughter. Like Jaycee, the motivation in this case of Haleigh is Pedophile. There was NO motive for Misty to kill Haleigh. Someone came in and took that child from her bed. Just like Danielle van Dam, just like Samantha Runion taken off the street. Haleigh was taken by a male pedophile.

Zephyr: You are not alone in thinking this. First of all innocent people DO fail polygraphs. They are ony a tool, they are not 100% sound proof. We don't know much about this polygrapher, or why after all this time he comes in and says Misty failed all 3 tests miserably yet the detectives working on this case through the PD have not as readily come to that conclusion. Who is this polygrapher?

It still amazes me how many people bend so far over backwards to try and almost make up scenarios in which to not only give the benefit of the doubt to the RC and Misty, but to praise them as some sort of hero.

I am sorry a child has gone missing. A child has gone missing not because of a stranger abduction such as that poor girl they just found 18 years laer, but because of the environment she was in and the actions of the people who were around her on a regular basis.

Misty's story has been absolute bullplop from the word go. It has been rather obvious that she was beyond stoned in several of the interviews she did. Almost everything about it rings false. This lie detector test does not bring anything new to the table, it just coroborates what we already knew and what LE is finaly starting to make some public noise about. There was no stranger involved. Things did not occur that night as they have been described to LE and the public. The last person to see or have contact with Hayliegh is lying about the events of that night. Rather badly too.

Ron is no angel in this either. While I doubt he was in any way involved directly with Haylieghs disapearence, and I am sure his grief is genuine, his actions both before and after her disapearence are at a minimum negligent and at a maximum border on criminal. His method of child care consisted of making his children the responsibility of his illegally underage child sex bunny, while she was coming off a three day booze and narcotics bender. That alone pushes the whole thing into the realms of statutory rape and felony child neglect. Yet somehow we all seem to miss that? And once the poor girl disapears? Almost all of his actions and statements have been to protect and shield Misty from scrutiny. Remember above someone asked where the information that Misty has "passed" the previous LE lie detector questioning? Well that info came from Ron, and it was rather blatantly untrue. I suspect Ron has a much better idea then anyone else including LE as to what has happened to his daughter, or at the least what actually went down in that home that night.

Failure to pass a polygraph is not enough to arrest a person. I find it odd that this independent polygraher found her deceptive but she took multiple tests through the police department and we haven't heard any of those results.

Haven't we? Has LE not come out and said they were not surprised by the results, and it is what they have been saying all along?

Have you actually listened sto all her intervies and noted the discrepancies and added stories and details in them? If HaLeigh was in the toddler bed on the floor...the bed in the master was on the floor...how did she look under something for Haleigh that was on the floor? Where would HaLeigh hide? Too many stories that do not match = a liar.

Let me go on record now stating my belief after watching the voice analysis test given to Misty and the full interview she gave the detective. In NO way or NO how is Misty Croslin guilty of this crime. There is strong evidence that her brother or brothers are hiding something. This whole kitchen light thing is stupid. The light was on, that's all she noticed. The conflicting statements she was in my bed, she was in the bed next to me etc. all normal for a 17 year old girl. I have witnessed MANY polygraphs and this girl does not appear to be lying in any shape or form.

You have a brother that sold a red pick-up immediately following the abduction, you have a brother whose van was scratched and beat up the day following the abduction. You have a brother afraid to go down and speak to police.

I still believe Misty. Every word. I think they are pressuring her, because the case if faultering. The investigation is stalled so they are turning back on Misty. IMO her brothers and or cousin is involved. I also think the Air Conditioning man should be throughly checked out.

Do you have a link for the bolded statement above...yet to see Hank, Jr state he s afraid to talk to LE. A/C man was cleared by LE...they already checked him out months ago.

Oh Misty...the one who failed LE and others poly's and VA tests. Ok...i was born at night, but not last night...Misty's word does not cut it.

Misty was on a drug bender the weekend before the disappearance.
Whomever took this child was invited into the home by Misty.
Misty knows who this person is and has chosen to protect that person and herself above a five year old child. And has the audacity to ask how much a 17 year old can take? A hell of a lot more than a five year old victim and though it seems to be muddied for many that five year old is the only victim in this story.

The rest are adults who are dealing with the outcome of the decisions they have made.

Add to this that LE has never, ever not even one time stated that they have had any difficulty getting anyone in Misty's family (other than HER) to speak to them. In fact, we have very recent evidence to the contrary that Tommy is MORE THAN WILLING to contact LE--he has done so several times in the last 3 weeks! If they had any questions at all for him, he was readily available, and they made no such statements that they needed information from him!

LE was freely given complete access to that van voluntarily, and the info. about the damage was given voluntarily! LE took the van in, went over every inch of it and stated there was nothing to connect it to the case. What I see IMO, is a girl who will deflect LE attention fromherself and RC by throwing anyone and everyone she knows under the bus. i am waiting for her to say NayNay and Amber did it next.
