Misty Failed Polygraph Test

Misty Cummings said she did not call her attorney before taking the polygraph because she thought she could take it on her own.

WTH? Didn't her lawyer state in an earlier news article that MC asked him about taking it and he advised her not to but she did it anyway? Didn't she write that in the document posted in her handwriting and signed by her? Blatent lie, imo.
It can't get any clearer to me that she is lying.
New poll-Who lies more? Casey or Misty?

Oh no, here comes Casey A and Baez again, only now MC, RC, & lawyers. Oh say it ain't so.

She was apparently out of the house on a 3 day bender of booze and drugs days before Hayleigh went missing. I don't think anyone would have to slip her anything. They would just have to show up with party materials when Ron isn't around, or even when he is given his history with the law. Sorry I know how much everyone feels for him but it is so patently obvious that drugs played a huge role in that household.

Just based on her appearence and demeanor in some of the early interview, I am going to hazzard a guess that inappropriate use of Oxycontin, barbituates or some similar depresent is part of her normal repetoire. She has those sort of dead looking unfocused eyes that are pretty indicative of those sorts of meds. And I am going to hazard a guess that noone slipped her a date rape drug to go do TV interviews. The girl looks to me like a heavy heavy pill popper.

I would tend to agree. She isn't using stimulents IMO because there is no weight loss or "wired" look to her. I have know people on speed and they look crazy out of their eyes. She just looks tired and sleepy in many of her interviews.

Why does Misty put so much significance on the blanket with pee that she washed? I just think this is very odd in the scope of things. Why is it so important that everyone know there was PEE on the blanket she washed and that she DID wash it? Better yet, why do the tests show that Misty was lying about this blanket?

It's really confusing, because rather than lie about a blanket you washed, why not leave out this detail altogether?

SSM, I typed up what was presented on the screen while NG was interviewing the man who conducted the LVA (Layered Voice Analysis).

Good Morning, It is so important to me that Misty mentioned the pee on the blanket for this reason. ...A child went missing under her care. Peeing the bed is an embarrassing thing for a 5 year old. Originally, hearing Misty explaining about Haleigh peeing the bed made me think of another case I followed where the perpetrator tried saying various things in an effort to degrade the victim. Please understand I am not saying that I believe that is what Misty tried to do but I wanted to have accurate information about the incident because things like trying to degrade a victim by saying hurtful or embarrassing things are done sometimes. I sort of let the whole peeing the bed incident go until I saw that Misty had allegedly shown signs of deception in regards to washing the pee blanket. Now I can't help but wonder why there was a sign of deception on this important piece of the story that Misty gave for a blanket being washed. My opinion...

This is easy. Because it explains why she is doing laundry in th emiddle of the night when everyone was supposed to be sleeping. And doing a load of laundry before Ron got home. So now the question becomes, if there was no pee on the blanket, what exactly was being laundered and why?

I don't think MC did any laundry that day or evening. But I assume that LE would know if a certain blanket was washed.

IIRC, didn't RC's mother come over with clean laundry/clothes for the children at some point in the day/night? Didn't LE find the pink outfit later on that MC said Haleigh was wearing that day? Was that in a hamper or was that found washed and dried?

I just can't imagine MC doing laundry that late at night. Was there no spare blanket to cover Haleigh with? Makes no sense in my book.

I think we may be missing something here, isn't it alleged that Misty was abused in her childhood? Alot of abused children have bed wetting issues. The issue of a wet bed or blankets and how a child might feel about it may cause Misty a great deal of anxiety and worry. It may bring up her own issues, which in my opinion she is too young to have really dealt with.

it could be that she felt it smelled like pee, but it wasn't actually pee...but she washed it out of concern for Hayleigh...I don't find this at all suspect.

something I would like to ask though...why the he&* is it that in just about every high profile case...someone has to go and "do laundry" ???? think about it... Scott Peterson washed his clothes, OJ had stuff in the washer, Casey's mom washed the pants..
what other ones???

Hi bogeygal! Not only did GGM do some laundry and drop it off that evening, but apparently RC & MC went all the way in Walaka that same morning to get an outfit from GGM that HC wanted to wear to school. That threw me for a loop when i heard that....

A former Governor of Montana washed the clothes worn by a staffer she considered "like a son" when he was in a fatal accident where he left the scene. She said (I believe) she was acting on maternal instinct.

I think Misty may have snapped the night of Feb. 9th.

Wonder how many guns RC has and if any are legal?

A note in the written report by the officer who arrived at the scene the evening the incident occurred at ggma sykes home acknowledged he was informed by an unnamed source that Ron was in poss'n of a gun which was in the MH but that's all he said so IDK.

I think the officers said, "Ron Cummings is always known to be in possession of a gun".....good grief! Hellooooo DCF, helloooo, Family Courts??

I must be off my rocker, but I thought the big deal about the blankets was that they knew she was lying at that point of the story because the blankets had not been laundered. There were clothes in the washing machine that had been there for sometime, not freshly run following the washing of the blanket?

I believe child endangerment could apply based on her living standards. Those children had no structure in their lives, they weren't served regular meals, their safety was never a issue. They existed, did what they wanted and witnessed vulgarity every day of their lives. These are just my humble opinions.

It is certainly not the environment I would want my kids in, but they were fed, dressed, and seeing medical doctors for appropriate care. Nothing to indicate they were being beaten or left home alone or had access to drugs.

There is a big difference between neglect as in you are a sorry excuse for a parent, and the legal standard of neglect and endangerment.
