My understanding is that people are taking to the streets since ICE/CBP are grabbing people without due process. I thought they were focused on criminals, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Imagine seeing your neighbors, friends, colleagues, fellow students, etc. being roughed up by masked people with guns. Often these people are grabbed, rough housed and detained, only to be let go later when they hadn't broken any law. Or in some cases, we don't know what became of them. In normal law enforcement family knows where the person is and what charges the person is held under. Not so with ICE/CBP. And most of these agents are recently hired with bonuses related to how many people they grab. So much for law and order. JMO.Defense Secretary shares advice on 'how to avoid ICE'
Pete Hegseth has posted a graphic on X of an ICE officer and a series of instructions for "how to avoid ICE". They are listed as "don't be here illegally", "don't attack ICE officers", and "obey federal and state laws".
He also linked back to another post earlier in the night in which he wrotethat the "patriots" of ICE are "saving the country", saying "we have your back 100%."
"Shame on the leadership of Minnesota - and the lunatics in the street", he wrote.
